Cooking (Ms. Nassar) Children will focus on making snacks using healthy ingredients and make a little recipe book with all of the snacks they ve made!

Jewelry making (Ms. Nassar) Make beaded bracelets, learn to braid and twist string, create a pin, design hair accessories, and design and decorate ways to store jewelry.

Trimester 1

Learn to Cook (Ms. Johnson) Come learn some useful cooking skills! Students will learn about pots & pans, kitchen appliances & utensils, spices & herbs, cooking techniques, preparation and cleanliness. Chess (Mr. R aki) Did you know that playing chess helps activate the right side of your brain?

Drama (Ms. Sanders) Have a ball learning about theater, exploring different roles and acting techniques and putting on a short play. Movie Making (Ms. Raki) Students will work on all of the processes of making short movies - script writing, filming and editing. Using the iMovie program, students will create at least two finished product movies.

Music and movement (Ms. Tolentino) Music & movement in early childhood helps develop self-esteem, gross motor skills, social skills, and listening skills. Its a fun way to end the day!

In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Through a myriad of enriching experiences, such as extraordinary field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships, girls grow courageous and strong. Girl Scouting helps girls develop their full individual potential; relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound decision-making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others. Year 2 Year 6 6-11 years old

Football (Soccer) at the Naft club (Naft club instructors) Get physically active, learn about teamwork and fair play and just have fun with football! Parents must pick children up from the Naft Club. This activity is free for Naft Club members. Fees for non members to be announced.

Year 4 Year 6 8-11 years old

Stress free kids (Ms. Johnson) Activities will include yoga, stretching, breathing and relaxation techniques. Kids will learn to reduce stress, decrease tension, lower anxiety and enjoy relaxation.

How to enroll
Trimester 1 activities 23 September 22 November Activities will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Complete the enrolment form and return it to the ISM Administrative Office along with the total amount due. Enrolment cannot be completed until fees are paid. The enrolment form must be signed and dated by a parent. Students not enrolled at ISM will need to complete an information and emergency contact form. Activities with less than 6 participants (or less than 12 for activities at the NAFT club) will be canceled. Parents will be refunded the full amount paid for that activity. Some activities may require separate health authorization or other documents. Parent signature and date _________________________________
