DIVISION 5 METAL WORKS SECTION 05100 HANDLING AND ERECTION OF STRUCTURAL STEEL BUILDING SUBSECTION: INDEX PART 1 BUILDING DESCRIPTION PART 2 PRODUCTS PART 3 EXECUTION 3.01 Installation

Part 1 BUILDING DESCRIPTION The publication as detailed in the attached building description contains the informations and data as reference in design process for the steel building. The erector must orient himself as to the nature and function of the facility prior to any work related to the assembly and erection of pre-fabricated structural components. Part 2 PRODUCTS All products were arranged to be supplied by a separate and qualified manufacturer. As to the case of short supply, the Engineer may issue variation to the contractor to procure such items as buy-out so as to complete the work. Part 3 - EXECUTION Receiving and unloading of the steel building will be the responsibility of the main contractor. The contractor shall abide the specifications provided and suggested by the manufacturer. All works shall conform to the erection drawings and guidelines issued to him which constitute as an integral part of the specifications. The contractor shall notify in writing to the engineer and manufacturers representative to conduct periodic inspection of any work in progress. Note: Structural steel building to be supplied by others: 1. Main Production Building.
