Layout 1: Did You Hear The News?

Materials Needed:

Did you Hear the News Layout Instructions:

Background paper is a sheet of 12x12 black cardstock. Trim the Teresa Collins Numbers Paper to 11.5x11.5 center and adhere to the black cardstock. Trim the Pebbles Front Porch Barefoot paper to 5.75x11.5. Leave about .25 of the pink and white diagonal showing at the bottom of the layout. Cut 2) 3.75x3.75 and 1) 4x6 pieces of white cardstock for photo mats. Leave about 1.875 of the pink and white diagonal paper showing at the top of the layout. Adhere as shown. Embellishment cluster 1: Adhered about 3.5 from the right edge of the layout. Trim the stick pins so the metal isnt hanging out. Stick the pins through the foam on the layered sticker.

Embellishment Cluster 2: Trim off the top diagonal portion of the Did You Hear the News diecut. Adhere the diecut about 1.25 from the left edge under the photo mats. Place the circular layered arrow sticker and trim off the left edge. Place a mixture of banners cut from die cuts and the cut-aparts, Have them overlapping at different lengths. Curl the edges and a couple enamel dots for added texture.

Embellishment Cluster 3: Three of the Teresa Collins Family Stories Diecuts journaling cards are used in this cluster. The black and white chevron bordered card is turned sideways to add some color to the edge of the journaling card, which makes the layers stand out more. The flowers are fancy cut from one of the journaling cards and adhered with foam adhesive. The third card number 1-5 is used as the journaling card for this layout. Add the Whats Happening My Mind's Eye Presh Label to replace the wording on the card. Further embellish with diecuts and enamel dots.

Layout 2: Be the Best You

Be the Best You Layout Instructions:

Use the 12x12 Carta Bella All Smiles Paper as the background. Cut the Pebbles Front Porch Cottage paper to 5.5x10.75 adhere to the lower portion of the layout leaving .25 on the left, right and lower edges. Cut the Teresa Collins Family Stories Notecards paper to 6.25x6.5 adhere on the upper left portion of the layout leaving .25 on the upper and left edge (hint: be careful not to use the notcards that are needed to complete the other layouts .) Cut the Teresa Collins Anchored paper to 5x6.25 (hint: make sure the anchors are facing the correct direction before cutting the paper) adhere to the upper right edge leaving .25 on the upper and right edge. Place the Be the Best You diecut about 5.5 down from the top ed ge. Overlap with a 4.25x4.25 piece of white cardstock for the photo as shown. Place the diecuts as show to embellish the page.

Slide in a journaling card to the left of the photo mat. Embellish with a couple diecut banners adhered with foam adhesive, a label sticker and enamel dots.

Cut a 4.25 x 6.25 piece of white cardstock for the photo mat. Adhere the mat about 1.5 from the top and 1.25 from the left edge. Adhere a layered diecut tab to the upper edge.

Cut the blue border diecut in half. Place half on the upper portion of the layout and the other half on the bottom portion of the layout as shown. Layer with the stipe of the Maggie Holmes Open Air numbered paper. Embellish as shown.

Layout 3: Our Family Story

Materials Needed:

Our Family Story Layout Instructions:

Use the orange side of the 12x12 My Mind's Eye Inspired Awed paper as the background. Cut the center out of the paper leaving a rather large hole in the paper. Keep a 1 outer border all the way around. The middle section will be used to mat the journaling block and large photo. Keep the darker orange color toward the bottom and the lighter orange color toward the top. Cut the Pebbles Front Porch Barefoot paper to 7x11.5 and adhere to the lower portion of the layout leaving about .25 inches on the left, right and top edge. Cut the Pebbles Front Porch Cottage paper to 5.5x11.5 keep the kraft colored scallop strip attached to the paper. Adhere to the top portion of the layout leaving about .25 on the left, right and top edge and overlap the Barefoot floral paper. Photos: Cut a white cardstock photo mat to 5x7 and cut the orange ombre paper to 5.25x7.25, adhere together. Keep the darker orange toward the bottom (the same concept as outer edge of the layout.) Cut one circular photo mat to 3 and one circular photo mat to 4. Place the large picture 2 inches from the top and about .5 from the left edge. Place the circular photo mats as shown. Slightly overlapping the circle and rectangle photomat.

Title: Our Family, Our Story. Use a Teresa Collins Family Stories Die cut label adhered with foam adhesive. Double up the adhesive squares on top of each other on the our story diecut for added dimension. Embellish with a few wooden hearts, word loving each other die cut and enamel dots. Layer a Teresa Collins Family Stories Layered Sticker over the top of a Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party Label. Embellish with stick pins and a wooden heart.

The journaling box: Cut a journaling card to 5x2.5 and cut the orange ombre paper to 5.25x2.75 center and adhere together. Place about .75 from the left edge and about 1.5 from the top. Embellish the die cuts and stickers as shown with layered stickers and the memories diecut.

Follow the Path Layout Instructions:

Use the teal Lagoon12x12 cardstock as the background. Layer with the Basic Grey Michigan Avenue paper trimmed to 11.5x11.5 Use a border punch (your choice, a notebook punch was used here) on the orange cardstock and trim to 9.25 long. Cut the chart side the Maggie Holmes Open Air to 9.25x7.75 (In this example the numbers were kept on the right edge.)Attach the orange cardstock to the top edge. Adhere the entire piece with foam adhesive to keep it elevated.

Tear off about a 7.5 lengh of the washi tape. Place about .5 down as shown. Embellish with stickers, printed and cut out diecuts. Add the title Follow the path with the Studio Calico Thataway Tiny Grey Alphas.

Adhere the obervations diecut journaling card and embellish with a word diecut. Attach about 2.5 from the right edge of the layout.

The lower embellishment portion consits of a My Mind's Eye Presh Labels (blue ticket sticker) adhered over a Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party Labels (orange sticker) embellished with enamel dots, a date diecut and an arrow adhered with foam adhesive.

The photo mats are 4.25x6.25 each and placed centered as shown on the full layout. A Tim Holtz orange distress marker was used around the edge of each piece of paper and photo mat.
