Invite your family, friends and neighbors to come with you. It will change their lives. _____________ Ladies Ministry Bible Study The Ladies Ministry will start a Kay Arthur Bible Study of 2 Thessalonians beginning st Monday, October 21 at 6:00 p.m. Lisa Marshall will be the Bible Study Leader. All ladies are invited to come and be a part of this Bible Study!

AN ODOUR OF SWEET SMELL

It was only an earthen vessel of no particular beauty. But all who came near it were charmed by the exquisite, delicate odor emanating from it. Someone asked the potter, What did you put into the clay you used to mould this vessel to make it so appealing to all who enter your shop? Nothing! Nothing at all! I, too, noticed the flowerlike fragrance of the clay from which I wrought the vessel. So I went to the place from where the clay came and there I found a wild rosebush growing. Its petals covered the ground and filled the atmosphere with fragrance. The petals it shed year after year must have given the clay its odor. We should stay so close to Christ that our daily lives will radiate His grace, goodness and sweetness. Roger

Quack, Quack Do we use our mouths to say nice things or mean things? In todays lesson, well learn that there are many ways to hurt people with words, from name calling to gossiping to angry outburst, but God tells us to build each other up, not hurt each other with unkind words. Thank you for supporting the Russellville Childrens Ministry. ____________ TRUNK OR TREAT We will have our Second Annual Trunk or st Treat event on Thursday, October 31 from 6:00 8:00 p.m. in the front parking lot of the church. For those who would like to participate this year and hand out candy, our theme will be Super Heroes. We are asking that you decorate and/or dress up as your favorite Bible hero or modern day hero. We will have a contest again this year for the best-dressed and best decorated vehicle. Please bring enough candy to give away to at least 200 + kids. If you do not wish to participate but would like to help, please bring bags of candy and place them in the tub in the foyer and we will distribute it to the cars and trucks participating.
