Professional Qualification
• Bachelor of Mechanical engineering, 2000-2004, from Visvesvaraya Technological University Karnataka,
India with First Class.

Certification
• Post Graduate Diploma in Petrochemical & Refining, 2005-2006, from Institute of Cheminformatics Studies,
India with First Class with Distinction.
• Certification Course in Piping Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, India.
• HSE & H2S course from STS – Oman, Approved from Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO).

Skill Profile
• 5 years oil & gas engineering experience (of which 3 years upstream) in conceptual, front end and detailed
design.
• Fully conversant with relevant international standards.
• Experience with Company and/or Shell Group projects and conversant with international codes such as
ASME B31.3, ASTM, API 6A and standards (SPs / ERDs and DEPs).
• Experience in hydraulic analysis (static modelling), piping isometrics, piping design / draught software
• Hands on experience on AutoCAD, PDS working Knowledge, Finite Element Analysis(FEA) Software such as

Principal Accountabilities
• Provide detailed engineering input during all design phases, including interpretation and challenge of
standards.
• Actively communicate with other disciplines to optimise areas of interface, during the design development,
review and check processes. .
• Prepare requisitions and technical evaluation of bids for discipline material and equipment procurement.
