October 22, 2013 Dear Members and Friends of First United Methodist Church It is time for us to celebrate the ministries, missions and finances of the church. We have been blessed with an exceptional year in the mission and life of our church. We would like to thank you for your faithfulness and support during the past year. As we begin to prepare the church budget for 2014, we need your help. On November 10, 2014 we will have our Celebration Sunday. We will have our normal service schedule with the addition of lunch at 12:00. During the services, we will collect our pledge card for 2014 as a part of worship. Please begin to pray now about your commitment to God for the next year. We will conclude our luncheon by announcing the results of our campaign. We ask you to pray for our church, for the worship services, for the budget process, ministries and mission of the First UMC. Ask God to show you how you can contribute to these areas through the faithful use of your time, talents and gifts. Russellville First UMC is a pillar of strength in the community. Bring bake goods on Thursday, November 7th to the Ministry Center. Label all your items with your name and the name of the item. If you have any rummage sale items bring them to the Ministry Center on Wednesday or Thursday , November 6th. or 7th. Save your money and come shop with us on Friday, November 8th. Chili Lunch will be served!! This yearly project raises money for missions and various church projects. The UMW appreciate your support!!
