Wong will postpone budget meeting due to adding last years minutes to the packet. Proposal to Vote: Re. Recent Bias Incidents & Declaring No Hate November Proposal # 131406 1. Declares the month of November as "No Hate November". 2. Encourages student organizations, along with other groups on campus, to organize events throughout the month that would strengthen Bowdoin's community and create ongoing discussion around diversity on our campus. 3. Aims to continue this initiative in the following years so that in the future, "No Hate November" will be proactive instead of reactive. Yes:Unanimous No:NIL Abstain: NIL

President says she looked at NESCAC schools and larger schools on their policies for similar events. II. Herman: Are club leaders going to receive an e-mail about hate and diversity? What things can you provide to this? III. Goldberg: How is the school going to address events outside of Bowdoin Community? Will the school address it with the greater Brunswick Community? IV. President: BSG is invited to town council meeting and can bring it up there. V. Goldberg: Calls of amendment to the proposal: Goldberg Now also says that No Hate November should extend to greater Brunswick community: 1. Entire council unanimously approves this amendment. VIII. Report of Members: I. Class Councils: 2014: Junior/Senior formal at Daniel Stone Inn. 2015: 14th of November Trivia Night. 2016: Mr. Polar bear in addition to First Year-Sophomore semi-formal. We should have extra meal swipes for guests. Reflectors for backpacks in addition to Holiday music in dining halls. 2017: Complaints: How first years cant switch their meal plans around and use them as credits. In addition,Duan states that the class council is looking to hire community outreach officers. II. Inter-House Council: I. Food hall last Thursday super successful super stoked tomorrow for Halloween. Entertainment Board: I. Fall concert in addition to Halloween fest, wear Halloween costumes in the union, and will be implementing a Second Ivies survey.
