Keith Olbermann, MSNBC, rendered one of his famous ―Special Comments" about members of Congress selling out their constituents in favor of special interests. ―Because the insurance industry owns the Republican Party. Not exclusively. Pharma owns part of it, too. Hospitals and HMO’s, another part. Nursing homes — they have a share. Last November when we elected President Obama to the Presidency he warned us all that pass healthcare reform would be difficult. Entrenched special interests are resisting, as expected, and fighting against changing from the status quo vociferously. They are using the old familiar techniques—mislead and scare people—any way they can.  President Obama calmly tells us we must:  Reduce Costs — Rising health care costs are crushing the budgets of governments, businesses, individuals and families and they must be brought under control Guarantee Choice — Every American must have the

freedom to choose their plan and doctor – including the choice of a public insurance option  Ensure Quality Care for All — All Americans must have quality and affordable health care
