Kai, the hitchhiker, who went viral on the Internet last year for a video on YouTube was indicted yesterday for the murder of a Clark lawyer. The Superior Court jury handed Kai, legal name Caleb McGillivary, a murder indictment for his killing of Joseph Galfy. The two men apparently met in New York on May 11th of this year and Galfy offered to allow McGillivary to stay at his house. On May 12th, Kai apparently beat Galfy to death in his home and fled the scene. There was a manhunt for McGillivary and he was arrested on May 15th. Kai is facing 30-years-to-life if he is convicted of murder in the first degree.

In National News Three teens in Pittsburgh were shot after leaving school. The three teenagers were shot after leaving their high school near school grounds. The

three kids had just left Brashear High School and were approached by one gun- man who was walking out of the woods. Pittsburgh police have brought six people-of-interest into custody in relation to the shooting. The police would not elaborate, but said the shooting may have been retaliation for an earlier incident. The three teens suffered various gun shot wounds but are all in stabile condition and none of the injuries appear to be life threatening.

In International News. An Iraqi mayor along with 24 other civilians were killed in incidents across the country. The mayor of the Iraq city of Falluja (Fall-oo-ja) was killed by gunfire while he was visiting a sewage plant. There was also a bombing in the city of Baghdad (Bag-dad) that killed 24 Shiite (She-ite) pilgrims. There has been no one that has taken responsibility for these attacks but Iraqi police continue to investigate both matters.

In Sports News.. The Cy Young awards were given out last night to both the National and American league recipients. LA Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw won the award for the NL. This is the second time he won the award in the past three years. He posted a1.83 ERA, which is the lowest in the major leagues in the

past 13 years and had a 16-and-9 record that propelled the Dodgers into the playoffs. The American League saw Tigers right-hander Max Scherzer take the Cy Young. Scherzer won 21 games with Detroit this year and was the only pitcher in the majors this year to win 20 games. He was second in the league in strikeouts with 240 and had a 2.90 ERA.

In Entertainment News Everyone is excited for the opening of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The sequel to last years box office smash, The Hunger Games comes out on November 22nd and fans are very excited to see what is in store for them. The film series, which is based off of the popular book trilogy has its fans buying

tickets for midnight showings next week, which are selling out all across the country. Critics are saying that the second installment of the franchise is bigger and smarter than the first film. The star of the film, Jennifer Lawrence agrees with the critics and let reporters know that this past Monday at the London premier of the film.
