My neighborhood

In this world every person lives in a state and state become neighborhood when many people stay together in a city. New York State has so many zones. For example, ackson !eights, "ood Side, and #storia are small cities where many people stay together, and each one comes o$t to be a di%%erent neighborhood. &very neighborhood is s$perior %or every person. For example I live in ackson !eights' and I %eel pro$d to stay in my neighborhood. (hree years ago I came to the )nited States to %$l%ill my dreams. Since then I have been living in ackson !eights. I saw so many neighborhoods, b$t I %ind my neighbor hood is better than others. First o% all, my neighborhood is cleaner than other neighborhood. For example, I went to the *ronx, and I saw their neighborhood is a lot dirtier than my neighborhood. I saw in *ronx near the (racy tower +big ho$sing complex, garbage-s are spread all over the road. .eople co$ldn-t walk beca$se o% bad smell, b$t the neighborhood people don-t care abo$t that. !owever, my neighborhood pict$re is di%%erent than that. In my neighborhood, every Monday and (h$rsday city tr$cks come to take the garbage-s o$t, and also o$r neighborhood people are very concerned abo$t where they live. "e always try to clean o$r neighborhood. "e think neighborhood is like a mother, beca$se whenever I come back to my neighborhood I %eel sa%e. &very child %eels sa%e with their mother, that-s why neighborhood is like my mother. I% o$r neighborhood will stay clean then other neighborhood people can be inspired by $s, and try to make their neighborhood cleaner. #s a res$lt, o$r whole city will be clean and we will get a spotless, hygienic city. Secondly, my neighborhood is mixed with so many c$lt$res. From experience, I have one yo$nger brother. "hen he %irst came to this co$ntry he tried to know abo$t Spanish lang$age and their c$lt$re. #%ter three years passed by, he can speak Spanish %l$ently. (his skill will help him to get a better ;ob in %$t$re. #lso in o$r small neighborhood every person is very help%$l. For instance, last year one day I got sick, and I was alone in the ho$se I cried %or help to my nearby ho$se. My neighbor took me to the hospital. I was grate%$l to them %or helping me in s$ch a bad condition. So it is very important to live in a good, %riendly neighborhood. (hirdly, my neighborhood is a combination o% commercial, and residential areas. For example, we go %or shopping to red$ce o$r a%ter work tiredness. "e can pass some leis$re time in malls. =$r children can play in %ood co$rt, beca$se almost every mall has some place %or children where they can play and parents can b$y their goods. (his also gives $s and o$r children a relie%. So my neighborhood is good bonding. #lso in o$r neighborhood we have one police station. .eople can come home %rom the ;ob at late night witho$t %ear, beca$se sec$rity is very tight in o$r neighborhood. So we can say my neighborhood gives me pleas$re o% recreation with %riends, time and place %or %amily bonding and sense o% tight sec$rity. In my point o% view my neighborhood is pretty developed, altho$gh we need more improvement. For example, o$r apartment b$ildings are almost one h$ndred years old. "e need renovation %or those old apartments. #lso we need more new apartments and ho$sing complexes in o$r neighborhood, beca$se we have too many homeless people in o$r neighborhood. (hey spend their night in the s$bways. I% we make more apartments and ho$sing complexes %or those people then o$r neighborhood will be more developed than others. (he hospital is very close to o$r neighborhood, b$t we need one more hospital. =ne hospital is not s$%%icient %or o$r neighborhood. Sometimes we have to stand %or long time in line beca$se o% too many patients. *$t =ver all, I think my neighborhood is developed eno$gh comparing to the other neighborhoods.

In concl$sion, everyone-s neighborhood is bea$ti%$l and precio$s to them. Similarly, I also think my neighborhood is bea$ti%$l and I love it. For now, I don-t plan to leave or move my neighborhood. I% in the %$t$re I have to leave my neighborhood %or any reason that day will be very sad %or me, and %inally I want to say I want prosperity in my neighborhood. !owever, I think o$r neighborhood will become more bea$ti%$l than others in the %$t$re.

My neighbours
Many o% $s live in ho$sing estates. I live in one mysel%. (he one thing abo$t living in a ho$sing estate is that we have many neighbo$rs. Next to my ho$se on the right lives a %amily whose parents seem to be always scolding the children. I do not know them very well beca$se they always appear angry. Never a day passes witho$t hearing the children crying and the parents sho$ting at the top o% their voices. =n the other side o% my ho$se, however, lives a very >$iet and polite %amily. Mr. ?erghese is a >$iet man who seems to manage his %amily very well. (ho$gh he has %o$r children, which is one more than the other %amily, I never hear him scold his children. So his children never cry. "hat a wonder%$l %amily they are. F$rther down the road is a %amily whose radio is switched on most o% the time, except late at night. !is immediate neighbo$rs m$st have a to$gh time putting up with the noise o% the radio. (hen there is a %amily whose members seem to live in a world o% their own. Many times we have met along the road and not once has any o% them even nod his or her head in acknowledgement. (hey are not blind or dea%. Yet they can walk straight past as i% I am not there at all. I wo$ld not say that they are $n%riendly. I g$ess they are simply not interested in knowing their neighbo$rs. =n the opposite side o% the road live Mr. <im and his %amily. Mr. <im is a bird@collector. So everyday a dozen or more birds sing melodio$s t$nes right beneath his %ront porch. It is pre%erable to the blare o% the other neighbo$rAs radio. !owever the bird droppings can give o%% an aw%$l stench. (hese are some o% the neighbo$rs living near me. (here are others that I have yet to meet. !owever I am care%$l not to intrude on their privacy. (he %riendly ones smile or raise their hands. (he not@so@%riendly ones look away. I have to live among them, %riendly or not. put up with stench intrude to accept an $npleasant sit$ation or experience a strong $npleasant smell to go into a place or sit$ation in which yo$ are not wanted or not expected to be
