You can take a picture of yourself or work from a mirror If working from a mirror, you can prop it onto the easel.

Grab the drawing materials of your choice. For this class, you have the options of the following: charcoal, graphite pencil, colored pencil, markers, pastel

Make sure to have an eraser and some type of sharpener handy!

3. Draw a horizontal line halfway down the face. 2. Draw a vertical line down the center of the face

4. Draw another horizontal line that is halfway between your last line and where the jaw would be.

1. Draw an oval shape for your face.

STEP 3

5. Draw the last horizontal line on the face that is halfway in between the second horizontal line you drew.

8. The pupil should be lined up to where the outer corners of the lips are.

7. The inner corner of the eyes should line up with the outer corners of the nose.

6. Draw 5 football-shaped eyes horizontally across the face (this will help you place where your eyes should be).

The Final Proportions

Make sure to draw soft lines when applying the features at first! Slowly build up value
