Arman Khosrowdad Is the health care system flawed?

RESEARCH PROBLEM SOLVING: In order to obtain an answer to the question at hand, I would have to research the current flaws in the healthcare field and view consumer satisfaction to general health care. Based on recent research, approximately 16% of Americans are satisfied with the current health care system. That leaves much to improve; clearly we as a country are not happy with the current structure. Not only that, but we spend the most money on health care globally, with Canada far behind in second place. Americas health care system is most definitely flawed. Not only are we as a country unanimously unhappy with current standards, but we also want change in a positive direction. No country wants to remain sick and unable to treat their citizens. But while this may be true, I do believe that the country is trying, its not easy changing a system thats already in place. Theres a lot of politics behind changing procedures that have been the norm for so long. The only thing is that we as a society need to come together and help change it together, and not just rely on politicians to do everything. What we need to do first is change the way we spend money. We need to move around the money spent in a way that lowers the cost but also makes the health-care received more stable and reliable. How this can be done, Im not sure, but I believe we can do it. Also, what we need to do is reciprocate doctors financially by the quality of work they provide. A doctor thats not as efficient should be paid significantly less than one thats effective. We also need to make sure that more people get the care that they need, at the times that they need it. We need to spread our care to all citizens within the United States, and not just those that can afford it.

Everyone deserves to be treated when faced with potentially life threatening situations. What we also need to do is make our care more convenient and systematic. Each citizen could have a regular doctor that they can go to, and rely on, one that listens and pays attention on a consistent basis. We as Americans have a higher proportion of lasting conditions, such as obesity, to do our unhealthy lifestyles, and worst, we dont treat them properly. If we as a country want to progress forward, we need to make more of an effort and make a better attempt at fixing our flawed health care system. We need to work together as people and not politicians in order to find a solution to the problem. Its not going to be easy, but fixing a country is never easy. Were not happy with our situation, and we do want to change it, so in order to do so, we need to work hard. Bibliography 1. Hampton, T. (2006, ). Flawed prescribing practices revealed.
