SYLLABUS

DESIGN OF FOLLOWING CIRCUITS:

1. Series and Shunt feedback amplifiers: Frequency response, input and output impedance calculation. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. RC Phase Shift Oscillator, Wien Bridge Oscillator Hartley Oscillator, Colpitts Oscillator Tuned Class C Amplifier Integrators, Differentiators, Clippers and Clampers Astable, Monostable and Bistable multivibrators

SIMULATION USING PSPICE:

1. Differential amplifier 2. Active filters: Butterworth 2nd order LPF, HPF ( Magnitude and Phase Response) 3. Astable, Monostable and Bistable multivibrator Transistor bias 4. D/A and A/D converters (Successive approximation) 5. Analog multiplier 6. CMOS inverter, NAND and NOR

LIST OF EXPERINETS

1. Design and construction of Voltage Shunt feedback amplifier and Current Series feedback amplifier to obtain its frequency response curve for with and without feedback. 2. Design and construction of RC Phase Shift Oscillator and Wien Bridge Oscillator circuit to generate a sine waveform. 3. Design and construction of Hartley Oscillator circuit and Colpitts Oscillator circuit to generate a sine waveform. 4. Design and construction of Tuned Class C amplifier circuit and to obtain its frequency response. 5. (i) Design and construction of Differentiator and Integrator circuits and to obtain their output waveforms. (ii) Design and construction of biased positive and negative Clipper circuits and to obtain their output waveforms. (iii) Construction and testing of Clamper circuit. 6. (i)Design and construction of Astable multivibrator and to obtain its waveform. (ii) Design and construction of Monostable multivibrator with a pulse width of 0.1ms using transistor. (iii)Design and construction of Bistable multivibrator with a frequency of 2 KHz and to obtain its performance curve. 7. Design and construction of simple transistor sweep and Bootstrap sweep and to derive their output waveform. 8. Simulation of Differential amplifier in both common and differential modes using PSPICE. 9. Simulation of second order Butterworth low pass and high pass filter having upper cutoff frequency 1 KHz and determine its frequency response using PSpice . 10. Simulation of Astable, Monostable and Bistable multivibrators Transistor bias using PSPICE. 11. Simulation of D/A and A/D converters (Successive approximation) using PSPICE. 12. Simulation of Analog multiplier using PSPICE. 13. Simulation of CMOS inverter, NAND and NOR using PSPICE. 14. Simulation of an Amplitude Comparator or Schmitt Trigger circuit.
