I started Simon Plant Care Inc in the summer of 2009 when I noticed a large demand for plant care in the Chevy Chase Village area. Since 2009 Simon Plant Care has grown to over 5 part time employes and over 35 clients. We are continuing to expand and improve. COMMUNICATIONS INTERN, BYTE BACK; WASHINGTON, DC FEBRUARY 2013

As part of The Field Schools two week internship program I worked as a communications intern at Byte Back, a local DC non-profit working to bridge the digital divide. In just two weeks I worked with the full time communications staff to develop a new website, logo for a new program, re-design course brochures, and more! Major Accomplishments: Developed a new website (byteback.org) Designed logo for new program Created signage for new Byte Back location

For one year I operated a small design firm. I created logos, websites, flyers, and other graphics for small local business. I shut down iSimon Design to focus on Simon Plant Care. AWARDS C-SPAN STUDENT CAM AWARD In 2012 my friend Tucker and I entered the C-SPAN Student Cam Video Competition. The topic was The Constitution and me, we focused on Digital Due Process. Out of over 1000 nationwide submissions to the contest we placed 3rd and our video was shown on C-SPAN TV. I was also interviewed by C-SPAN and that interview was aired on live TV.

CITIZENSHIP AWARD At The Lab School Of Washington I received the citizenship award in 7th grade for being a caring student and dedicated member of the Lab community
