This is the diet Isaac is on.

I've no medical training and we are following it with advice from a dietician and the staff at our local Health shop are guiding us towards things as we go along. There are a few other things to add as they come to me, but in the meantime this will do. Not all children
have intolerance to these foods it has really helped Isaac and the rest of the family is thriving fine on it. This diet should be followed under medical advice i.e dietitian/ G .

!irst the don'ts: No dairy "we have gotten around that by getting mil# from a local dairy farmer which is from a $ersey cow and is unpasteurised and unhomogenised. %pparently, these processes change the ma#e&up of the mil# and so by getting mil# without these processes done is better for any tummies "e'cept pregnant and breastfeeding women(. %lso, a $ersey cow's mil# is closer to human mil# in it's molecular structure. If you are lucky enough to get this milk, be sure to tell any guests that come into the house to prewarn them. If you cannot get the mil# without pastuerisation and homogenisation then buy $ersey cow mil# in )*+. ,ou can also use goats mil#/cheese, soya mil# or rice mil# but our fella hated the taste of these. No fat or oil for frying. -oconut oil does the tric# and it's molecular structure is relatively unchanged when coo#ing. It is also good for lots of other things, see http.//wellnessmama.com//012/343&uses&for&coconut&oil/ No Sugar or salt: 5e use Thai mountain salt "not real salt( and 'ydol as replacements. No raw fruit or veg: +imply coo# them. It is the sugar content in fruit that is the problem. +tewed apples are gorgeous6 %nd there are recipes for banana bread "using buc#wheat flour(. No Grain: 5e get around this using buc#wheat flour/fla#es. $ane ma#es panca#es, muffins, porridge among other things. It is from rhubarb and therefore not a grain despite it's name. No Tap Water: 5e have invested in a filter from the health shop, the 7rittas ones are no use "cost around 894 but we've saved on buying bottles of water(. Tap water has chlorine and flouride in it. Not good for children or adults. %lso, flouride free toothpaste. No Sweets or snacks: 5hile this may seem particularly difficult, we have gotten around it by getting 'ydol based sweets, dairy free ice&cream and certain bars in the health shop which are date based. He can eat any nuts e'cept peanuts, he can have popcorn or lightly salted #ettle crisps "available from Tesco and :unnes and often at reduced prices(. No Fizzy drinks: %gain, most will find this a bit difficult but if you add elderberry cordial to fi;;y water you get a delicious soft drin# that he loves "and so does -hristopher6(. !or dinners we can have as much meat, potatoes and veg as desired "try to #eep it as organic or free range as you can(. <idl do a very good range of organic veg and meat and eggs. If you want to have pasta, you can buy buc#wheat pasta from most health shops. :unnes carry a range of organic rashers and gluten free sausages. !or brea#fast, some buc#wheat fla#es in a bowl with a little mil# and some organic blac# cocoa gives a chocolate porridge "heat in microwave in seconds(. <idl also do a nice organic #etchup and barbecue sauce which is gluten free. I will add to this list as I thin# of other things. There are also crac#ers made with buc#wheat from the health shops and you can use soya butter to replace butter, tastes =ust the same. There is 'ydol based =am too. lain rice ca#es are also fine as a treat. 5e have also found oven chips that are only potatoes in <idl"there is 1> vegetable oil but you can overloo# this( or alternatively chec# with your local chipper if they do gluten free chips "if you are in -or#, <enno''s on 7andon road do( and that can be a very e'citing treat.
