APPLICANTS TO QUEENS COLLEGE FOR ENTRY IN 2014/2015

Details of the application procedure are given in the University prospectus which can be viewed on the University website: http://www.cam.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate/index.html INTERVIEWS OUTSIDE EU: For full details of the interviews taking place outside the EU please see the University website on:http://www.study.cam.ac.uk/undergraduate/international/applying.html UK INTERVIEWS ONLY If you are to be invited for interview, we will write to you later with details. Interviews will take place between 9 and 19th December and, possibly, at other times to be advised. Candidates for ECONOMICS please note: Most Economics interviews this year will take place in November. If you are invited to a November interview, we will not be able to offer accommodation and you will have to make your own arrangements if you wish to stay in Cambridge. Please do not make any arrangements until you know when your interview will be. If you have not heard from us about your interview by 11 November 2013, please contact us immediately preferably by telephone. Candidates for interview in November will hear as soon as possible. Candidates from outside the UK who have indicated their willingness to come to Cambridge for an interview must understand that we cannot change interview dates to fit in with flights. You must check with us BEFORE booking any flights to find out when your interview is likely to be. There are some subjects which issue their interview dates in advance. These are: Asian and Middle Eastern Studies Classics Linguistics Philosophy Theology and Religious Studies

9 - 11 December 10 - 12 December 16 - 17 December

If you are not available* at any time during the interview period, it is essential that you inform us, in writing, as soon as possible (if contacting us by email, please put Interview in the subject field). It is your responsibility (and not your school's) to inform us of this . Otherwise, if you cannot attend on the interview date allotted to you, we may not be able to offer you an alternative and this may prejudice your application. *Possible exemptions are for important appointments only e.g. hospital appointments, operations, exams or tests. School theatre productions or holidays cannot be taken into account unless you have checked with us first. Every year we have many disappointed students who do not inform us about these things and we have not been able to change their interviews. We will try to give you as much detail as we can in advance of your interview but It is not always possible to tell you who will be interviewing you, so please do not ask us until nearer the date.
