Global Network Team Lead for Project DELTA, the Volvo separation o Led a diverse global team of 30 engineers from Ford, Volvo, Fujitsu, Affiniti, and Cygate. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Network Engineering Team Lead for the testing and certification of long-distance Multimode fiber optic cable o Worked with Cisco product engineers to test and certify long distance capabilities of multimode fiber far (standard is 500 meters, certification exceeded 2000 meters). o Saved a combined $15M in planned fiber infrastructure upgrades over three years at Ford Motor Companys manufacturing facilities through this effort. Network Engineer and Project Manager for the design and implementation of LAN and WAN infrastructures o Led implementations in 30+ Ford Motor Company Product Development, Engineering, and Business locations, varying in size from 100 employees to more than 10,000. Network Engineering Team Lead for the development of global network solutions guidance for the corporate global Data Center of the Future Project. o Responsible for evaluating various risk factors, high availability and redundancy requirements for disaster recovery and business continuance, carrier circuit availability, and latency o Developed and recommended solutions phased for 3-5 year and 10-12 year timeframes.
