Panther Drilling Systems, LLC is a full provider of directional products and services.

Headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, we operate in all regions of the US market. With over 32 years of experience in all aspects of drilling, our management team maintains a commitment to quality performance and safety. Our focus on senior level leadership across all departments manifests in execution at the well site with the ability to provide our customers the expertise to assure objectives are met within their budget. Our clients are supported around the clock with in-house well planning, motor repair facility, and MWD service center. We provide our customers proven technology with the design of our positive displacement motors and MWD equipment. Our low cost rotary steerable technology has consistently lowered operators costs through increased ROP and near bit inclination and azimuth. Panther Drilling Systems commitment to quality execution and safety in our industry ensures our clients a committed partner in working together for a safe and a prosperous future.

MWD
Panther Drilling Systems, utilizes the latest MWD technology available that has been developed and tested from both the US and Canada. Panther Drilling Systems operates with a Benchtree System platform as its basis for surface gear data collection and wireless communication. Additionally, Panther Drilling Systems can meet your needs in most drilling environments by incorporating various types of electromechanical pulsers, which include the sleek Tolteq solenoid driven pulser and Benchtree motor driven pulser, as well as the rugged APS motor driven high LCM design pulser. All components are state of the art technology with downhole components ruggedized and rated to 175C. Panther Drilling Systems provides Gamma Ray detection services resulting in real time formation evaluation and professional end of well logs. Panthers incorporation of a dual axis vibration monitoring tool will capture early warnings of excessive shock and vibration which could mitigate damage to the MWD equipment and BHA while optimizing the ROP. Shock and vibration values are transmitted real time along with all directional data while drilling.

Mud Motors
Durable fluid lubricated bearing sections feature polished tool steel thrust bearings and tungsten carbide radial bearings preloaded on a robust bearing mandrel. PDS bearing sections can withstand extreme axial and side loads while operating in harsh conditions such as high temperatures, high solids content, LCM, and high chlorides in the fluid system. A lower mandrel catch device is standard on all PDS motors and prevents fishing operations in the event of internal drive train failure. PDS power sections consist of the most reliable hard elastomer stators producing 50% more torque outputs than standard elastomers. All PDS rotors are tungsten carbide coated to withstand the harshest drilling environments and are especially resilient to the harmful effects of chlorides present in some drilling fluids. PDS body connections feature a specially designed sealed and tapered API thread profile. PDS body connections resist cyclic fatigue stresses, are resistant to backing-off and are protected from corrosive materials unlike modified acme threads used on most drilling motors. All PDS motors feature a rotor catch device to prevent loss of components in the event of connection failure. All PDS motors are configured with top subs bored for float valves eliminating the need for additional subs in the BHA. PDS motors are versatile and can be configured with adjustable or fixed bend housings, and slick, stabilized, or near bit kick pads. The PDS motor is designed with a short bit to bend distance to achieve maximum build rates at any bend angle.

RSS
Our state of the art low cost rotary steerable is a 4 blade push-thebit closed loop design. The 23 compact design houses inclination and azimuth 3 from bit. LCRS continuously proves to lower cost per foot significantly.

Drillers
Panther Drilling Systems provides our clients a staff of Sr. Directional Drillers averaging 14 years of experience throughout the US. We emphasize the importance of our field staff with our clients and involve them in the planning and execution of the project.

MWD Operators
PDS MWD Field Operators consists of a highly trained and disciplined staff with a vast amount of experience. This group is goal oriented to providing a quality and professional service to our clients.

In-House Maintenance
Our process and procedures are developed by the Product Line Managers in conjunction with the manufacturers. QA/QC for each product line is tightly controlled from the time we receive product through the assembly and disassembly. We simulate downhole conditions in testing of tools prior to delivery.
