About Age UK: Age UK is a local charity dedicated to helping older people to have valued and fulfilling lives. They provide information, support services and social activities to help older people to live their lives to the full. Chorley Lifestyle Centre is delivered in partnership with The Brothers of Charity. It is based on Gillibrand Street in Chorley and is open every day of the week to provide a service to the over 50's. Refreshments including hot snacks and hot lunches are available to purchase.

How to book: Call dial-a-ride on 01257 260488 and state that youd like to book the trip to Preston using time credits. About dial-a-ride: The dial-a-ride service is available to everyone in the Chorley and South Ribble area that doesnt have access to a car and cannot use public transport easily, either through mobility problems or because no suitable service is available. You can use the service for visiting friends, shopping, social activities, or to access educational activities and employment. All mini-buses are wheelchair accessible and run Monday to Friday between 9am-9.30pm. Dial-a-ride also do trips to a range of places such as Southport, Boundary Mill and Garden Centres and trips on request for days out for groups.

Tours of Astley Hall To book on to a guided tour, call Amy or Emily on 01257 515926. Mention that youre booking with Time Credits. Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. Only the ground floor is wheelchair and pushchair accessible. Chorley's famous Astley Hall Museum and Art Gallery is often referred to as the 'Jewel in Chorley's crown' and features among the Simon Jenkins book 'Britain's Best 1,000 Houses'. Guided Ranger Walks No need to book, just come and learn more about Yarrow Valley Country Park on a guided walk with Chorley Councils Rangers. The walk lasts about an hour and can be tailored to most abilities. Meet at Yarrow Valley Country Park Visitor Centre, off Birkacre Road, Chorley, PR7 3QL. Please come dressed for the weather conditions, wearing sturdy footwear. Route includes steps and stiles. Coach House Activity Space The Coach House is a great meeting or activity space, to book call Amy or Emily on 01257 515926 and state that you would like to book the Coach House using time credits. Space at the Coach House is subject to availability. Please call no more than 10 working days in advance of the required date.

About The Creative Network The Creative Network was set up in 2011 to bring creative people in the North West Together. The network aims to facilitate networking support and collaboration in creativity, in the widest possible sense. Their live music events bring communities alive over two evenings, and Chorleys event follows successful live events in both Leyland and Penwortham but bigger!! How to Book Access to the venues is by wristband only and these can be obtained in exchange for 8 time credits at Chorley Councils Reception on Union Street in Chorley Under 12s go free.

Time credit places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis only for the performances listed. Seats must be booked in advance by calling the box office on 01257 264362 or drop in at Malcolms Musicland, Baptist Chapel, Chapel Street, Chorley. You can also purchase tickets directly from the box office when its open. About Chorley Little Theatre: Originally opened as Chorleys first electric cinema in 1910, Chorley Little Theatre has become a thriving arts venue in the centre of the town. Since 1960 it has been owned and operated by the amateur dramatics group CADOS, who have been putting on high-quality productions for over 75 years. CADOS present at least 6 productions per season.

Cottage museum offers an intriguing glance into typical cottage life 200 years ago. Its a very small museum and just round the corner from judges lodgings. Open from Easter to October.

Set in a park with an activity play area just outside. This area gives access to the (ruined) castle. There are activities for children within the museum itself. Clitheroe Castle is of particular interest to anyone keen to know more about the history of the local area, the Normans, castles, and geology. There is a caf and shop, disabled access, parking and facilities. Non-disabled parking is in town, a short walk up a steep hill to the museum and castle.

Its law courts are still in use. Its a great way to learn something about Lancashire history including the 'witch' trials and executions, and castles and heraldry. The Castle offers an exciting cell 'lock in' experience though not suitable for anyone who doesn't like the dark! Standard, timed, guided tours only. Open all year round.

About Helmshore Mills textile Museum: A former mill which is partly still working. There are fantastic demonstrations very interesting for all sorts of reasons; Lancashire history, historic machinery, textiles. There is a cafe, shop, disabled access and free parking.

Radio Station Experience - 2 Time Credits On weekdays between 12pm and 6pm, members can spend 2 hours with a radio presenter where they will experience what happens during a live radio show and see how a show is put together, including the technical processes involved. Community Radio Training - 4 Time Credits Members who have enjoyed the radio experience and are interested in learning more about working in radio can attend a 4 hour training session, which will offer a more detailed introduction to radio up to Level 1. Community Notice Board Opportunity - 4 Time Credits Weekday afternoons between 12pm and 3pm, Community Groups can learn how to record their own information commercial promoting their group or organisation, with the help of a presenter working alongside them. The finished commercial will then be played on air at intervals throughout the following week.
