We need volunteers for the following positions;

Information Ambassador provide info on the events to the public Greeter greet the public and provide information on the events Parade assist the parade procession Green Room attendant Assist supervisor and rove with performers Visitor Counters counting people entering the Island at specific areas Workshop assist with the workshops, helping the public Face Painting assist the face painters and crowd control Face Painter Apprentice this position does simple face painting Front of House Assistantassist with audiences and the venues Please mark down (in order of preference) which positions you would like to be placed in. 1. 2. 3. We will try our best to place you in your first preference, but we cannot guarantee these positions.

There are also 2 shift options on Friday, February 14, 2014 available. Please check which shift you are available for :
Production shift, 9am 5pm

This position involves physical work and is outdoors, you will be assisting with setting up venues

Visitor Greeter, Noon -5:30pm You will be assisting the public about Winterruption events as well as counting visitors

Orientation Date
Volunteers are required to attend a one hour orientation at the Volunteer headquarters at 1402 Anderson Street on Granville Island prior to the event. Please mark if you are able to attend :
Thursday, February 6, @ 5:30pm Thursday, February 6, @ 6:30pm If you are unable to attend the orientation session, please contact Nicole or Mark to obtain event details and specific shift duties.
