1. Course Description Communication Skills are rated as the top skills that employers look for when they go out to recruit. It is vital for every manager to be adept at business communication. All functions in an organization require communication. Business Communication is focused on creating reading, comprehension, writing and speaking skills in every student. The emphasis is on learning by doing.

2. Course Objectives 2.1 To improve reading and comprehension skills of students. 2.2 To enable the students to develop and enhance skills for drafting clear, concise, audience centric business documents. 2.3 To provide an insight into what employers look for during an employment interview and pre-employment testing.

3. Course Pre-requisite 3.1. Should have studied English at Class XII level. 4. Course Outcomes After completion of the course, the students would be able to: 4.1 Read and understand a business document. 4.2 Write clear, concise and effective business reports, letters etc. 4.3 Give effective presentations and handle queries. 4.4 Confidently face employment interviews.
