OBJECTIVE
The aim and the objective of this study on the ambiguities in language of law is to make a sincere attempt in explaining the growth and development of law with the change in language as time grew from Ancient India to Modern India. Vagueness and ambiguity are key problems in
theories of legal interpretation and an attempt will be made to decide whether these ambiguities are a threat to legal interpretation.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM


Language plays an important role in the development of law. With the growth of society and the sophistication of language, the law has emerged according to the needs of the society. But, it has lead somewhere to the rise of ambiguity in the language of the law. It causes problems in interpreting and sometimes misinterpretation of the language.

METHODOLOGY
The method which will be followed for this study would be purely Doctrinal in nature. This study would be a descriptive and analytical one describing the ambiguities of language of law. The project is completed with the help of use of books, articles and other web sources.
