Live the Francis Effect thru Abundance

Lenten AlmsgivingThe 3 Legged Stool
In the poor and outcast we see Christs face; by loving and helping the poor, we love and serve Christ. -Pope Francis Lenten Message 2014
The Lenten Journey consists of the 3 pillars; Praying, Fasting and Almsgiving. We pray for those living in material, moral and spiritual poverty. We fast as a means of self-discipline, turning away from sin, focusing on God. We give alms accumulated from our fasting to help those we are praying for, for those living in poverty. (Pope Francis Lenten Message 2014) This year Almsgiving is a 3-legged stool. Local, Global and Mission. Challenge yourself, challenge your family, to gain knowledge and awareness in all three legs. That is the Francis Effect keep the stool standing. What you give-up is turned into helping others.
