KODAK Photo Printer 68XX firmware Download Instructions

NOTE: Do not unplug the USB cable or push any keys on the keyboard during firmware download. 1. The target printer must be attached to the PC and in the ready mode. 2. There can be only 1 68XX printer attached to the PC when down loading firmware. 3. To begin the firmware Download, double click on Download.bat. 4. The DOS windows will show the printer serial number and then display Main program downloading NOTE: Once the download starts, you will see a 30 second countdown timer. The Printer LCD Display will read Main Program Update Wait for counter in the DOS Window to reach 0 5. When the counter reaches 0, the printer will start to re-initialize automatically. The DOS Window will display DSP program downloading The Printer LCD will show DSP Program Update The Printer will again re-initialize automatically and come to a Ready state. 6. The DOS Window will display Press any key to continue Hitting any key will complete the download and close the DOS window. The new firmware is installed. To verify the firmware version: 1. With the printer in the Ready mode, press the Menu button 6 times until you see Main Firm =. The Main firmware version will be displayed. 2. Press the Menu button 1 more time and you should see DSP Firm = The DSP Firmware version will be displayed. 3. Press Clear 1 time to return to ready.
