The Next Generation of Scholarly Communication PLoS ONE is a peer-reviewed, open-access online journal, where publication is just the

beginning of an ongoing
conversation. It is a part of public library of science (PLoS) journals. The main aim of the PLoS promote of worlds scientific and medical literature a freely available public resource. PLoS has its main headquarters in Suite 100 in the Koshland East Building in Levi's Plaza in San Francisco. The company was previously located in the China Basin Landing building in San Francisco. In June 2010, PLoS announced that it was moving to a new location in order to accommodate its rapid growth. What is PLoS ONE?
