The Belief system of Devoplis

In an effort to create a successful civilization, the people of Devoplis have established their own belief system. It shares similar religious beliefs and teachings with other world religions and helps the people of Devoplis, Not all religions have to be the same but morals and values should be alike. Take some of the most well know religions for example Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. Morals and values should include thoughts, actions, and deeds. Morals and values make up what every day in your civilization will be like. For a civilization to be successful, it needs to have and maintain an organized belief system. So it can sustain a non-lying and chaos-free environment. The main reason that the civilization should have this, is because it will keep the civilization from corrupting. Here are some examples.

The First and most important tenet in the civilization of Devoplis is Mojo. Mojo means, to have compassion. Mojo has a great impact on the people of Devoplis, it teaches them to have sympathy for the less fortunate; it also gives them a way to become purified. According to Mojo the people of Devoplis all have to donate 5% of their wages to the less fortunate or to a charity every five years. This is similar to one of the Islamic pillars called Zakat. Frey states that Zakat, Muslims believe that wealth becomes pure by giving some of it away and that sharing wealth helps control greed (Frey 98). There are many benefits by being able to control greed because it prevents fights witch could lead to one of the main reasons western Rome had its corruption the civil war between the Patricians and plebeians. The second tenet in the civilization of Devoplis is Noodle. Noodle means, kindhearted. Noodle has helped many people of Devoplis come closer to their friends and foes. Noodle is a ceremony when all the all the people of Devoplis come together sit down with their legs crossed and join hands. Once everyone has joined hands then they visualize everything that makes them feel happy. This is similar to the Buddhist and Christian beliefs Do not kill, steal, or lie and Thou shall not kill. Frey states that, Do not kill, steal, or lie. Be honest (Frey 159). Having the ability to be kindhearted to not just your friends but also your foes will have major effects on the civilization of Devoplis. Being kindhearted will be passed on to the younger ones who look up to you so noodle will be a tenet that will be passed on for generations. With a belief like noodle the people in Devoplis will have a friendlier environment. The third tenet of Devoplis is called Rolo. Rolo is a way of representing trust. Noodle has an amazing influence on the people of Devoplis. For Rolo every person of Devoplis has to go to confession once a month and confess their wrongdoings. It helps the people of Devoplis learn that there are consequences for their actions. This is similar to one of the Christian beliefs From the Ten Commandments Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor . Frey states that, By obeying the Commandments, Hebrews will fulfill their part of the covenant with god (Frey 107). The Belief Rolo will be one of the most important tenets in the civilization of Devoplis. Rolo will relieve stress and anxiety, so it will be a more controlled environment. With a belief system like Rolo the civilization of Devoplis will be well structured and stay organized.
