Homework due date: Friday 28TH March This homework is for 2 weeks. You must do 8 activities.

You must do the first Maths activity and then 1 other Math activity, the first spelling activity in English and 1 other English activity, 2 Faith & Life activities and 2 of your own choice.

REMINDERS: This week sports uniform is to be worn Monday and Wednesday Grade 4 Homework standards 1. Rule margins, in red 2. Rule a line after each activity, in red 3. Write neatly, take care to use capital letters and full stops correctly

You must also: Read every night for 15 minutes and record the name of the book and pages read, in your diary. First Maths Using the sheet complete ONE number operation a night, timing yourself for one minute. If you are only able to complete 10 questions in that one minute that is fine, however you need to try and improve yourself each week. This will cover 8 out of the 12 nights of homework. (Teachers have modelled this in class)

Maths Log onto Study Ladder and complete 4 of the addition activities. (Note: you can still log on during the week and do more activities if you have time.)

Faith & Life Remembering the 8 multiple intelligences, visualspatial, linguistic, musical, intrapersonal, bodilykinaesthetic, interpersonal, logical mathematical and a naturalist. Choose one of the strength multiple intelligences you were (taken from the test you took at school). Describe what characteristics you have which make you this particular intelligence. English Spelling Using the Visual strategies can you complete 1 strategies a week, using the following spelling words: emotions, feelings, multiple intelligences, subtraction, addition, algebra, expression, equation, function.

English Read the following simple sentences: 1. We went on a holiday. 2. The girl went to the party. 3. The boy won the race. Can you make these sentences more interesting?
