Backstory of Yandus Fargulf Yandus was born in the mining camps on (dwarf island) to a family that forgot about

him. His father was the leading doctor of the settlement and his mother died in child birth. With his responsibilities as the leading surgeon his father had little to no time for Yandus; as such from a young age he learn to be independent and became a self-imposed loner. His family worshiped Bahumut as their patron god with the Copper dragon being on the Family crest He grew up knowing he would be recruited for the mines as many young dwarf boys were and so grew resentment for the idea of a predetermined destiny. Yandus loves to explore he would of set sail for the world if he was not dragged back each time he tried to escape so when the time came for his journey to the pit he decided that he would try and outwit his superiors by losing them in the mines and then try to escape. So for the next two year Yandus gathered maps and information about the mines. People wavend many long tails of its winding and confusing natures and how people could go in one day and not return for a year but only look like they had not even aged. He also learnt of a legend about a draconic warrior that once treaded the world smiting all evil that he came across with his breath that became brimstone and armour that was hard as the mountain he was lost in. With the legend came the prophesy that the same warrior would one day come out of the mountain and that he had been buried deep within and once again walk the world. On the day of his escape Yandus came across a particularly dusty alcove with the symbol of dragon etched in great detail across the front. While walking towards it he saw that there was a alcove in the shape of a hand, curiously it looked like the same size as his. Putting his hand in the alcove his suspicions were correct. Suddenly the ground started shacking and the mountain rumbled like a mighty dragon loosed roar to try and bring down the mountain. The door slid away and the shaking stopped and in the chamber was a ornate full plate and a book in front of it. Opening the book Yandus discovered it was a chronicle of the mythic Dragon warrior. Yandus spent the next few days sneaking away from his mining book to satisfy his curiosity about the warrior learning of his great deeds and heroic sacrifices. When he go to the back of the book where the inked stopped Yandus was very disappointed having been inspired by the book when he noticed something. Ink was bleeding from the book into words. Horrified he stood there in mute terror as the words tore their way through the page and arranged into comprehensible words. The stared by saying yandus Descendent of Thero Fargulf You have been chosen but the will of Bahumut to take up the mantle of his most trusted representative the Draconic warrior You are to go out into the world and spread the good will of your God But to do this your form will be broken down and remade in likeness of your patron You are to become Dragon Seeing the words being crafted in front of him he could not belive it at first thinking back to all the deeds written before. Then a sick thought came to him what did it mean my form will be broken? he started to panick looking for a way out but the book just kept bleeding telling him to calm down.

After a while the book managed to calm him down and explained how the process would work. The book gave Yandus strict instructions on what to do. When the door opened Yandus was out of the mine as fast as a bat out of hell. Yandus quickly retuned with the necessary gear. During that night the towns folk got worried, they searched the whole town and expeditions were led into the mine to look for him but when they turned up nothing they set up a torch at the head of the cave so it may act as a beacon for Yanduss lost soul. Yandus soul was far from lost though with his body being warped and changed. When he broke free he marvelled at his new form feeling stronger than ever before. Donning the armour as quickly as he could Yandus rushed outside to show the village his new found powers when he saw that it was under attack from pirates who were looking to grab some slaves and loot. See in this Yandus let out a howl that rivalled that of the mountain. It reverberated across the battle field with both sides stopping and letting out a prayer that it was friendly to their side. Stooping down Yandus launched himself into the air unfurling his wings and started to glide over to where the fighting was the thickest. Unfortunately never having wings affected had a undesirable impact with his glide soon turned into a plummet with his form crashing rather than landing on the beach. As he impact tossed up huge gouts of sand before he stood up. The pirates laughed as thay saw he had no weapon they jeered as they set upon him. The shame was overwhelming with his failures to even think of picking up a weapon bouncing around his head. His chest began to churn with the feeling of bile coming to the surface before the shame was converted to anger. Yandus threw of his oppressors sending them flying in all directions. Then by instinct hew lest lose the bile in his chest shooting out as a beam of acid. The pirates died screaming their bodies being reduced to paste by the projectile attack. Yandus then stalked forward killing all the pirated in his reach; tearing arms crushing bones and spilling the guts those unlucky enough or stupid enough to come within his reach. But this was not enough as the pirates spilled round him like one rock in a stream. By the time they were gone the village was raised abd 40% of the population was dead or taken by the pirates. Yandus blamed himself for evey death he blamed himself for every burnt home he blamed himself for his inability to save the town. The towns folk celebrated the return of the Draconic warrior with the bars filled with noise and cheers that the whole town was not destroyed due to the heroic assault of the warrior. They asked whats your name? but did not say in fear for how they would react towards him so being simple folk they named him after the thing they remembered the most his entrance. The hailed him as The Meteor since then he has not adopted his true name in over a decade letting his reputation of crashing from the sky strick fear and hope alike into the people he comes across. After the assault on dwarf beach yandus became a brooding warrior always wanting to analyse his situation before leaping into conflict least he repeat his stunt at the beach attack. He travels across the region seeking work to improve his reputation so people know the draconic warrior of old is back. He also seeks work so he may live up to the mantel he has been tasked with. In combat Yandus is still the rock unmoving, uncompromising, (unreactive), and plummets from the sky when he tries to fly (but seems to result in the splatted enemies).
