IMPORTANT- DONT LOSE YOUR FULL-TIME STATUS!
Your full-time status is important for many purposes including: financial aid eligibility, housing eligibility and health insurance coverage. It is important that you always carry a minimum credit load: undergraduate students 12 credits; graduate students 9 credits. Waitlisted classes do NOT count as registered credits.
Closed Classes / Wait List:
1. Students may request to be added to the wait list if a course is closed. Addition to the wait list constitutes consent to be added to the class when space becomes available. 2. Wait lists can only be ADDED at the REGISTRAR'S OFFICE. You will be required to come to the Registrar's office to wait list in writing. Wait listing will open on your in-person registration date. 3. No advisor or instructor signature is required UNLESS the student has not met the prerequisites for the course. 4. Students who add to a wait list will be registered for the specified course/section as openings occur, prior to the beginning of the semester. A student schedule will be sent to confirm the change. Subsequent changes are the responsibility of the student. 5. If you no longer want to be added to the class, you may drop at the Registrar's Office. Notification must be made in writing.
Full-Time to Part-Time
If you are a full-time* student and wish to change your status to part-time Submit the Change of Status form (available at the Financial Aid Office) to the Office of Student Success in the Financial Aid Office.
* Full-time status is determined at the end of the first week of classes on the date indicated in the calendar as the last day to add classes. (See Carroll University Catalog "Fees" section.) THE LAST DAY TO CHANGE STATUS IS September 8, 2011. At this time if you are not registered for 12 or more credits you will be administratively changed to part-time status.
Part-Time to Full-Time
If you are a part-time* student and wish to become full-time for the fall semester Contact the Admission Office, Voorhees 101.
*Status is determined at the end of the first week of classes. THE LAST DAY TO CHANGE STATUS IS September 8, 2011.
