Disclaimer: I would recommend watching Breaking Bad before reading this story. This will take everything during or before Face-Off in Breaking Bad as almost complete canon, though, it will make some accommodations for the DC Universe. Batmans history will be a bit of my own vision, so both canons mythologies in this installment and in future installments. CHAPTER ONE: QUESTIONS Gotham was in absolute chaos after Carmine Falcone died. Mob bosses struggled for power, Sal Maroni the most hungry, and most ruthless. I saw what appeared to be a junkie in crime alley. I used my grappling gun to pull him up to the top of the building. I held him up by his shirt with both hands. I can feel his adrenaline rushing. His eyes are bloodshot. He has a gun at his belt. Before reaching his gun, I broke his arms so he couldn't reach it. Wha-what do you want?! He screamed at me in anger. I want to know where you got your drugs. And who supplied them.I saw a tinkle of sweat run down his face. He was shaking immensely, and I was only barely able to keep him from slipping out of his shirt. He must have taken the drug a hour and twenty three minutes ago. All I know is that they keep saying the name Heisenberg. I have heard that name, sounds vaguely familiar. He started looking around for help. But there was none. Where is he. I paused. I. A huge gulp went down his throat. I dont know. He started to look down, and then his head shot right back up at me. His lips started quivering. Please dont drop me. Plea- I dropped him. I couldnt give any information out of this addict. I dropped him so he could land on a porch three stories below. When he fell a strange bag fell out. It looked like methamphetamine, but it was blue. Luckily it didnt fall with him, it would have shattered, meaning it would be tougher to analyze. I picked it up and put it in my empty pouch and ran across the rooftop, and glided down to my car. I drove home. Alfred came down. I barely even looked at him. I threw off my cowl and put a piece of the methamphetamine under a microscope. Master Bruce, do you need anything? Alfred said very humbly. Coffee. Black. I said.

Very good sir. I could hear his footsteps go in the opposite direction, but I payed no mind. I was able to judge the purity of the substance. It was 99.1% pure. I slumped in my chair at this newfound discovery. Never had I found a poor mans drug so pure. I must check police records across the country to see if there is any evidence and where to find the producer. I hear a trail of footsteps come toward me. Alfred puts a cup near me. Anything else, sir? No. At least, not at the moment I was very focused on finding the man responsible for making this meth. I will stand idly while you work, than, Master Bruce? Very productive. He said with a bit of a side grin. Fine. You havent spoken to Dick for months, Master Bruce. Perhaps it is time to call him back from the Teen Titans? He suggested. Maybe later. Right now, I need to find this man. I used my advanced search engine to weave through thousands of private police reports. It appeared the producer lived in or around the Albuquerque area. It turns out a high profile fried chicken producer was also the distributor of the meth, named Gus Fring was just killed by a former Mexican cartel member. He must have hired someone to produce the meth. I dug deeper, and a name that came up for a lot of drug cases was Saul Goodman. Saul represented someone by the name of Badger, and according to the police report, they put away this infamous Heisenberg. Yet, this meth is still being produced. So either Heisenberg passed his skills to a protege, or he lied. I had so many questions. Alfred, I think I need to go to Albuquerque to find who the maker of this meth is, and where to find him. Fair enough, but you need an alibi Master Bruce. This wasnt a suggestion. It was standard protocol. Standard to any undercover mission. Fine. I need a way to bring the car. If I get in trouble, I need to get away. Ill talk to Mr. Fox. Be ready in an hour. Alfred started to walk away, and then I took off my suit,

and went upstairs for a shower. The coffee cup sat there, untouched.

CHAPTER TWO: FALLOUT I called Skyler. She was trying to pry me about Gus Frings death and my involvement. Its over. Were safe. I replied. Was this you? What happened She continued to press. I won. I said. Victory was mine. I hung up, and drove home. After about a week or two, Jesse, Mike and I made an agreement to use a magnet in a rent-avan to destroy Gus Frings laptop in police custody. As it so happened, Jesse couldnt do the crime for some dumb reason, and said hed be out of town. Nonetheless, we were able to finish the crime and get away. No traces, no evidence. The reason why is because I made sure of it. Before leaving the police station, I saw a shadowy figure with somewhat spiky hair. The shadow was running toward the station, and didnt see us. I still wonder how half the planet seems to be gifted with superpowers, and I have yet to get caught. Maybe it is my intellect. Or fear. WE NEED THE CHAPTER TO GO TO THEIR FIRST COOK. PINKMAN, FOLLOW SOMEWHAT THE STORYLINE OF THE FIRST FEW EPS OF SEASON FIVE< BUT ADD A LOT OF DC UNIVERSE REFERENCES, SINCE IT TAKES PLACE IN IT.

CHAPTER THREE: ESCALATION I arrived in albuquerque with a suitcase and myself. I had to divert attention to my being here. The world thinks Bruce Wayne is on a cruise in the Bahamas. I wanted it to stay that way. I was driven to a safe house, a property which I owned. It had all the necessary tools I needed to take on Heisenberg. He was still out there. I knew that. A truck with a magnet destroyed evidence at the Albuquerque police station. Which, conveniently contained Gus Frings laptop. I set myself up in the basement, which had one of my Batmobiles. An older model of mine, but it would do. My Batsuit was there as well. Older as well, more bulky, but it would be fine as well. I came across an image of what was supposedly Heisenberg. It was a sketch. It was what appeared to be an older man, and he had a moustache, a pair of sunglasses and a fedora hat. I needed to talk to Saul Goodman. Interrogate. Thats the word. I waited until dark, and then drove to Saul Goodmans law office. Needless to say, he wasnt happy about me being there once I pulled him atop the strip mall. He was wearing a bright

yellow shirt, a gray suit, a blue ribbon on his left breast. He had an elaborate combover. I want to know who Heisenberg is. I yelled at him. A bit far from Gotham, arent you? Saul sneered. When his drug comes into Gotham, it is my business. Now, I have every suspicion that you know who Heisenberg is. Now tell me. Where is he and who he is. Ha! Im not a rat! Saul almost broke down laughing. I guess you wouldnt mind me looking through your office, then. It wasnt even a question. I pulled him back to the office, and held him close to the door. Open the door. Now. No thank you. I will fine you greatly for this travesty. He shot me glare, with his idiotic grin. Fine. I kicked the door open, and pushed him in. Assault and b and e? That will be very great in court. He said. Just tell me where your files and cases are. Or Ill find them myself. Good luck, amigo! He shot back. He struggled to get up, but I handcuffed him to a radiator. I went through the secretary's files and looked through security footage. A man that looked suspiciously like the rough sketch was in the office just a few days ago with a younger man in his twenties. An older man, Mike Ehrmantraut was there to. I remembered him from looking through Los Pollos Hermanos security. He was represented by Saul. I dragged Saul over to the camera after decuffing him. Who is that bald man? Is he Heisenberg?! Uhh, well, I have a confidential promise for my cile--- I slammed him against the wall. I dont have time to play games. Tell me where he is, and his name. NOW! You think that will convince me? He was starting to get nervous. All I want is his name and address. Give that to me, and I will let you go.

I make a promise to my clients, and I cant break that. Well, I guess Ill break your arm. Wait, wait, wait, wait! I cant tell you where he lives, or his name, but I can tell you he is Heisen-- He was cut off. Robin swooped in. Hey, uhm, Batman. I was in the neighborhood and heard on a police scanner there was a distress call here. I-- He tried to finish, but I wouldnt let him. I have the situation under control. Why are you here? I demanded. I just said a distress-- I cut him off again. No, why are you in Albuquerque? I turned to him. I was about to ask you the same thing. I am here with the Titans. Since the Justice League is on Apocalypse, we came to investigate Gus Fring and the now apparent drug ring. He said. What brings you here? Look, guys. Im very happy that you are having a touching family reunion, but can you go outside or something, like out of my office? Saul said before I couldve reply to Dick. Im not done with you yet. Well keep in touch Robin. Ill let you know of any details. I have some to get from Saul here. Now leave us be. I turned away, and faced Saul. I could hear Robin walking out of the building. Now, as I was saying, I cant tell you his name or address-- I slammed my foot into him. Bubut I can give you a disposable phone I have, which you can check his last known address and so on an-- Give it to me. Now. It wasnt a request. Its in my office, can I go in? He innocently asked. Fine. But if you call the po- I wont. Itll be just a second. He limped to his office, that kick was harder than expected. He came back with an old, poor phone. Here ya go. He gave it to me. Now can you please go?

He looked away for a second, and before he could look back, I was gone. Good riddance. He said. CHAPTER FOUR: I woke up, Skyler sleeping next to me. I got up, and went to make breakfast. I heard Walt Jr. open his door. He walked toward me. He had a Superman shirt on. Whats for breakfast, dad? Bacon and eggs. You can have Rasin Bran to, if you want. Okay dad. He said. Ca-can you drive me to school on the way to the car wash? Sure son. I replied. Well go once done with breakfast. O-okay dad. Once done eating breakfast, I drove to school and dropped Walt off. Instead of driving to the car wash, I drove to the newest house that needed bugs exterminated. Jesse was parked outside. He tossed me a Vamanos Pest jumpsuit, and I slipped into it. We walked inside the yellow striped green tarped house. Our lab wasnt set up, so we had to set it up very carefully. Lets get started. I said. We made our usual batch, and I walked outside. I saw a boy there. Young, strong and blonde. Another man was there, older, probably middle aged. They had name tags, but I didnt read the names. The manager yelled out. Jason! Todd! Lets get the gas ready. He payed absolutely no mind to me. I took off my Vamanos Pest uniform and tossed it to Jesse. He put the crate of meth in his trunk, and we drove to the Vamanos Pest building in our separate vehicles. We arrived, and saw Mikes car there as well. Jesse and I walked in with the crate of meth. Well, there you are, Jesse, Walt. I have the money from your last cook. He separated the money in three piles, and then took a little out of all of them in put it in a bag. What are you doing? I demanded of him. Legacy costs. Gus Fring had nine men working for him who knows him. They were guaranteed money so they dont talk.

Those were not MY men. The money should only be coming from your money, and your money alone! I was furious. These men are getting payed to keep their mouths shut. That is an asset to us three. It comes out of all our money. He blurted back at me. I was furious. I wasnt going to take this. We stared at one another for what felt like the longest time. Jesse finally spoke up. Here. He pushed his pile up. Just use mine. Okay? No. I wasnt going to lose this. Well all contribute. Equally. Once done with our meeting, I left and got a call from an unknown number on my disposable phone. I picked it up. Yes? I asked bluntly. Walt. Its Saul. Batman, hes in Albuquerque, as are the Teen Titans. The Batman is on to us. He was hyperventilating his words. What does he know? I demanded of him. He took my phone which had all my history of calling you. He is going to trace the history to you. I had to get a new one. He also saw my offices security camera history, and saw you. He knows youre Heisenberg. Saul said, and he finally sighed. Without a moments hesitation, I hung up and broke the phone
