CELEBREMOS EL VERDADERO
SENTIDO DE HALLOWEEN
En Inglés la palabra,
‘Halloween,’ significa
‘víspera de todos los
santos’ (‘eve of All
Saints’) y se debe
celebrar no con disfraces
de brujas y monstruos
sino con los de los Santos
de la Iglesia Católica. Por
lo tanto, éste año invitamos a todos los niños y sus
padres a participar en una celebración muy
especial en la noche de Halloween. La celebración
se llevará a cabo el sábado, 31 de Octubre, en el salón
de la Iglesia a las 6:30pm. Los niños que quieren ser
parte de este gran evento deben venir vestidos de
un santo católico. Habrá una piñata, nieve, dulces
para todos y premios para los niños con el mejor
disfraz. SÁBADO, el 31 de OCTUBRE (noche de
HALLOWEEN), a las 6:30pm, en salón de la
Iglesia (esquina de la 20 y Pasadena).
Parejas no casadas
por la Iglesia Católica
Parejas que hacen vida marital sin estar
casadas por la Iglesia Católica, corrijan
cuanto antes su anómala situación. Un
sacerdote los podrá casar una vez que
cumplan los requisitos y sin que tengan

CLUB PARA CHICAS
Invitamos a las jovencitas de la parroquia
de las edades de 10 a 14 años a formar
parte de nuestro CLUB para chicas. Las
reuniones serán cada tercer sábado del mes
de 9:30 a 11:30 AM comenzando con la
primera el 19 de septiembre y seguirán
reuniéndose hasta el mes de mayo.
Aprenderán artes manuales, a cocinar, coser,
modales y reglas de urbanidad, y charlas de fe. El costo por
los nueve meses será solo $10 dólares. Para mas
información llame a la notaria parroquial.

ANIMAS EN PURGATORIO
El mes de Noviembre está dedicado de una manera especial a
las santas animas en el purgatorio. Es nuestro deber como hijos
de Dios de siempre recordar en especial a nuestros seres
queridos difuntos en nuestras oraciones y Misas. Los sobres
estarán disponibles para este propósito. Pueden escribir los
nombres de los suyos que han muerto en el sobre especial e
insertar una donación de cualquier cantidad y las Misas del mes
de Noviembre se ofrecerán por ellos. Los sobres se pueden
recoger en la oficina y en la sacristía.

THE HOLY SOULS IN PURGATORY
The month of November is dedicated to the Holy Souls in Pur-
gatory. It is our duty as sons and daughters of God to always
remember in our Masses and prayers our loved ones who have
died and all the dead in Christ. Special envelopes are now avail-
able in the parish office and sacristy. You may write down the
names of your dearly departed loved ones on the space pro-
vided and insert a donation of any kind in the envelope. Masses
during the month of November will then be offered for those
individuals whose names appear on the envelope.
