Detailed content and methodology of the project with instructors credentials

In order to simplify a quality introduction to woodcar ving, workshop will begin with a form of persian style of carving adopted into traditional Konjic style. It is simple and mathematical, therefore natural which is a perfect way to introduce atendees with the materials and tools. Also the results are visible after only a few hours wich is a good motivation as well. After establishing a solid foundation for two monts (cca 30 workshops) of Konjician carving style we are moving on to a so called European style. This branch is much more demanding because the motives are limitless and there is no room for error because even the slightest flaws tend to draw attention. After another 2 months (cca 30 workshops) attendees should acquire a descent level of expirience and skill and it would be a good time to introduce them to even more advenced level of wood carving. This style does not have a name of its own as it is more of a blend of previous two. It requires the precision of the persian and creativity of the european style. It can be applied to literally anything but, in order to achive the highest posible level of skil, we decided to apply it to the traditional islamic calligraphy. This has been experimented for centuries but now this particular style of carving is perfected and has rules of its own which gives it almost a brandlike acknowledgement worldwide. This workshop will also take 2 monts (cca 30 workshops) during which we will do our best to set a course for further development of the students and instruct them in ways of creativity as well as marketing and trading skills.

Instructor, Abdullah Pejkid master carver, by far the most acomplished bosnian carver with numerous foreign and domestic exibitions.
