Put the Running head and page numbers in the header. Page numbers begin with page 1. The words Running head will appear only on the first page. In order to make the header on the first page different from the subsequent pages, click the box different first page in the header options. Use 1 inch margins throughout the assignment.

The title should be centered in the upper-half of the page, typed in 12point Times New Roman Font. It should not be bolded, underlined, or italicized.

In the page 2 header, click on insert page number. If you already selected different first page, then the page numbers will start with 2. Then, put your cursor in front of the 2 and type your Running head. Last, press tab to put the Running head to the left of the header.

Reflection

If citing additional resources, follow these examples: When referring to a source, give the authors name and date of publication: Children need a lot of parental support when first beginning school (Berk, 2009). When quoting a source, give authors name, date of publication, and page number: At birth, the brain is nearer to its adult size than any other physical structure (Berk, 2009, p. 168).

Title of article. Retrieved from: URL {**note: include as much information from the website as you can} (For Books) Last Name, First Initial. (year). Name of book. City of Publication, State: Publisher.

Start the reference list on a new page, center and bold the title References, and alphabetize the entries. Indent the second and subsequent lines (not the first line). Doublespace all entries. Every source mentioned in the paper should have an entry. Use academic sources only (e.g. no Wikipedia!)
