Launched in 2011, Exo Foundation has rmly established itself as a charitable organization based in Thailand. A supplementary branch of Exotissimo Travel, we support initiatives in the destinations covered by the business and act independently, operating the companys responsible tourism activities.
As a charitable foundation, the organization relies on donations for nancial support of its projects. A fund was set up to collect donations into which Exotissimo currently donates $1 per traveler. Being implemented for 2012 is the option for agents to donate $1 per traveler on their invoices. A set proportion of funds will be kept aside for disaster relief while the remaining is equally distributed to selected charities each year. During 2011 the Foundation opened a village library in Muang Shwe Lay, Myanmar, to assist villagers whom are eager to continue with their education and provide vital resources for schools in the vicinity.
