Q1-Find out the current pay scales of central government Lower Division Clerks (LDCs) and Upper Division Clerks (UDCs). Do you think it is sufficient to lead a good life for a four member family? The current pay scale of central government lower division clerk after 6 pay commission is 15520 gross and net payable is 13122 only. Which is 1900gp, basic 5830 and Pay scale for the position of Upper Division Clerk is Rs. 5200-20200 plus a grade pay of Rs. 2400 and this is the present pay scale after the 6th pay commission. According to me this pay scale is not sufficient to lead a good life for a four member family because of poor environmental conditions, low education levels and lack of awareness of needed medical care no one will be able to live a happy and satisfactory life. Q2-Find out the performance appraisal format for managers of Hindalco and analyse the same for strengths and weakness as you understand them. 1.
