Paragraph Legality of euthanasia has (had) changed Belgium. In 2002, Belgium became the second country to legalize euthanasia after the Netherlands. Many people think with euthanasia, they can choose their own path of life. Besides, there are some unbeneficial situation such as pain or unsuffficient economy which are force them to do so. Of course using this method can impact the transformation of Belgian society. Term of death become something common and also euthanasia is being promoted as a beautiful and positive way to die not feeling guilty. As an example, 45-year-old deaf identical twin brothers who couldnt bear the thought of going blind were granted euthanasia. Doctors granted their request because they had nothing to live for.

In another case, a 44-year-old woman with chronic anorexia nervosa was euthanised. Although, there are some Belgian who do not agree with this kind of situation have became marginalized.
