Intent of Specification This specification is intended to cover the following activities and services in respect of all the equipments

of Coal Handling Plant for 2500 MW units !!0 !!! Scheme of Coal Handling System Coal shall "e transported to the plant in "ottom discharge wagon ra#es and shall "e unloaded in under ground $ C C Trac# hopper %i& '() num"er paddle '$otar* plough) feeders+ each of ,00 T-Hr rated capacit* shall "e installed at the "ottom of the Trac# hopper to scoop the coal from trac# hopper and feed coal on to the underground conve*ors !.-!/ There shall "e three paddle feeders on each conve*or of which two shall wor# simultaneousl* and one shall remain stand "* Two '2) nos 1n23ine Magnetic separators to remove tramp iron pieces shall "e mounted on the discharge end of conve*ors 0.-0/ The rated capacit* of each conve*or in coal handling plant shall "e!(00 TPH Conve*or !.-!/ will discharge coal on conve*or 2.-2/ in transfer point TP2! Conve*or 2.-2/ will carr* coal to Primar* Crusher House for crushing coal from 000mm to '2) !50mm 1n the Primar* crusher House each of the conve*or 2. and 2/ shall transfer coal to separate sets of two Crushers through feeders+ such that coal flow ma* "e properl* distri"uted to the crushers in service There shall "e 5our '4) num"ers rotar* "rea#ers each of ,00 TPH capacit* with two '2) normall* wor#ing and two as stand"* Provision shall "e made such that all the four crushers ma* run when "oth streams are required to operate
