MANILA, Philippines - In her latest sworn statement against Vhong Navarro that may run in conflict with her camp's previous statements, model Deniece Cornejo said the actor-host had raped her twice. The first rape supposedly took place on January 17. Cornejo then claims she was raped a second time on January 22. Both incidences supposedly happened inside a condominium unit at Forbeswood Heights in Taguig City. In her new counter-affidavit submitted to the Department of Justice, Cornejo recounted what Navarro allegedly did to her on January 17: "He lunged at me and managed to raise my shirt exposing my breasts, and he started touching my private parts." "As I was struggling to stop his advances, he managed to force his penis into my mouth. I tried my best to free myself from his clutches to no avail," she said. "He then removed his pants and inserted his penis inside my vagina. I was pleading 'No,' struggling and crying, begging him to stop and pushing him as best as I could. Eventually he stopped and left my unit," added Cornejo. Cornejo's counsel, Howard Calleja, said his client revealed the incident only now and that she must be given "leeway and understanding." Last month, in an interview with ANC's Headstart , Calleja denied Navarro's claim that something happened between the actor-host and Cornejo. "That is not true, even if pinagmamalaking may nangyari si Vhong [even if Vhong brags that something happened] Baka [Maybe] to him, in his mind, gusto niyang may mangyari [He wanted something to happen]. But really, nothing happened," Calleja told ANC. No mention of sexual encounter in earlier affidavit Also, in Cornejo's earlier sworn statement dated January 29, 2014, the model did not mention that something sexual happened between her and Navarro. In the said statement, Cornejo said that on the night of January 17, while she was waiting for her female friend, Navarro called her up and said that he was already downstairs in the condo lobby. "I went down to the lobby and met him and even introduced him to the guard on duty," Cornejo said.

When they reached the condo unit, Cornejo said Navarro went inside and sat down on the sofa, "while I closed the door behind me, but leaving it unlocked, which is my habit whenever I have visitors over." "Kuya Vhong had brought a bottle of wine with him offered it to me. He poured some wine for himself and I declined since I am not really a drinker," said Cornejo. After Cornejo's female friend called up to say that she won't be able to meet Cornejo at the latter's condo unit, the model said, "I told Kuya Vhong that my friend could no longer make it so I told him, 'I'm sorry that you have to go na rin. "He tried to insist that I let him stay longer and even made jokes about sleeping over, which I dismissed as playful banter. I told him, 'No di talaga puede.' So finally Kuya Vhong conceded and said, 'Cge, next time na lang. Bumawi kasa akin.' Thereafter, Kuya Vhong left my unit by himself." Vhong claims he had oral sex with Deniece in first encounter In his six-page affidavit last month, Navarro said that after consuming one bottle of white wine, they made out and "it led to oral sex. In his interview on Buzz ng Bayan also last month, Navarro claimed that something short of sexual intercourse happened that night between him and Cornejo, and this prompted her to send him the text message Bad ka afterwards. Navarro said he interpreted the text to mean that she was disappointed that the sex had not been fully consummated, so he replied, Bawi ako next time. According to Cornejo, the second rape took place on January 22 when Navarro allegedly forced her to perform oral sex on the actor-host and tried to insert his penis in her vagina. Navarro denied Cornejo's claim, saying he was the one victimized on the said day when Cedric Lee and his group beat him up and allegedly tried to extort up to P2 million from him. Lee said he and his friends defended Cornejo from being raped by Navarro.
