There may be many different combinations of dragons which contain the necessary elements to give the required dragon, but these combinations only work occasionally... Not all the combinations of hybrid dragons are listed here, only some examples which have been known to work. Using Hybrid breeding is necessary where opposite elements are required to make a dragon. Opposite elements, such as Fire + Cold, cannot be put together in breeding cave on their own, so you need to use a dragon which has one of the basic elements you need already in its DNA! For example, since Ice contains the Cold element, Fire can be bred with Ice, giving the chance of Fire combining with Cold (producing a Bluefire dragon). Whilst hybrid breeding is required for opposite element breeding, it can also be used normally too. For example, the Rain dragon is bred from Air and Water, which can breed together normally, but many hybrid dragon combinations containing air and water also work to produce Rain too. What's important to know is that it's a rare chance that you'll get the Rainbow Hatchling. Below are some confirmed breeding combinations that have resulted in a Rainbow Dragon: Firefly + Seaweed Lava + Seaweed Crystal + Blazing Plant + Mountain If you've just bred some dragons and you're looking for an indication that you've bred the rare Rainbow dragon, if you're incubation period is around 48 hours, congratulations, you've just bred a Rainbow dragon.
