The writer reviews some recently released computer games. hoose the most suita!le headings from the list A - G !elow for each review paragraph. There is one extra heading you do not need to use. Matching headings "hen matching the headings to paragraphs you should loo# for key words or phrases which give the overall meaning of the paragraph. $nderline the words or phrases in the paragraph which lin# it directly to the heading. -. This game is great if youve had a hard day at the office. This is an action game set far in the future in outer space. The story !egins after a nuclear holocaust where most of the world has !een destroyed in a war !etween the superpowers. The plot is rather illogical. The only people to survive are you .!ecause you were in your spaceship when the e/plosion hit *arth0 and a group of vicious aliens1 who seem determined to find and #ill you. The action ta#es place in an underground world of tunnels and caves deep under the *arths surface. This is a first2person game where you have to first find the aliens and then try to shoot them with your laser gun. Its not a very original idea and the graphics tend to !e poor 3uality in places. 'owever1 the action is e/citing and the scenery is unusual for a game li#e this. I would recommend it for those days when you want to rela/ after a hard day4s wor#. 2. This is the latest release from (tar games. Its called "all (treet 5adness and it is all a!out the world of corporate finance. This is one you will en6oy playing with your friends or against the computer2controlled players. *ach player starts the game with 78991999 to invest in fictitious companies on the stoc# mar#et. &e careful1 as the value of stoc#s and shares seems to rise and fall unpredicta!ly depending on the days

trading. +ou have to thin# carefully what to invest in and when to sell your shares. The !ottom of the screen has a complicated menu where you can read economic forecasts or get conflicting advice from your team of e/perts. The o!6ect of the game is to !uy up all your opponents4 stoc# and sell it for the highest prices !efore the mar#et crashes. Great fun and a very interesting game if you li#e strategy games. Its definitely not for you if you dont have a lot of patience as you might find it rather slow. In my opinion this is the !est of this months new releases.

:. Id recommend this one for young children. +ou have to guide )ino1 the !a!y dinosaur1 out of his cave and along a path to eventually meet up with his mother at the end. There are no end of o!stacles along the way1 such as heavy fruit falling from the trees1 and ditches and rivers1 which you have to try to cross safely. I found it a !it !oring !ecause you soon learn how to manoeuvre the dinosaur and when youve played it a few times the o!stacles !ecome very easy to predict. The graphics are great fun1 though1 and Im sure it will delight the children as a hristmas present. ;. This is another racing simulation game in the series. +ou are strapped in to the front seat of a high2powered rally car. There are lots of different s#ill levels from !eginner to e/pert. +ou gain points at each stage of the rally and the overall winner is the driver with most points at the end of all the races. If you li#e racing simulations1 youll li#e this game a lot. There are lots of different cars to choose from and the sound effects and graphics are e/tremely realistic. Rally ar 2 is a lot !etter than the earlier version. 8. The o!6ect of this game is to score as many points as possi!le !y answering 3uestions a!out world geography. It is a multi2player game and you move from country to country until you have answered all the 3uestions correctly. If you get the answer wrong you are moved !ac# to the previous location. The feature I most li#ed was the lin#s section1 which automatically connected to a relevant we! site whenever you answered the 3uestion wrongly. The only draw!ac# was having to disconnect from the we! to get !ac# to the game. %s an educational game it is super! and Im sure it will !e popular with geography teachers and parents everywhere. 'owever1 it does feel a !it li#e !eing in school. I wouldnt recommend it unless you are ready to do some serious thin#ing. <.

This is yet another foot!all simulation game1 (occer 299-. The pro!lem is it feels very dated now. The way players move is totally unrealistic. They are difficult to control and I found it almost impossi!le to score a goal. The graphics are very !ad1 too. I disli#e the way the players all loo# li#e ro!ots and the crowd are all wearing the same clothes= "orst of all1 the game ma#ers are not allowed to use the names of real players so they have made up lots of really stupid names. This is the worst game to !e released this month. I would say that its !etter to save your money and go and #ic# a real !all around instead.

>ow read the article from Internet Gamers magazine again carefully to find the answers to the 3uestions !elow. "rite the appropriate paragraph num!er or num!ers after the 3uestion.
