Their ability to boggle my mind with plots that seem to leave holes and questions that are left

unanswered. The way the relationship between Hood and Regina seemed forced, the way
they give Hook the worst, cringiest lines to 'impress' Emma even though it seems like sexaul assault to me.
The plot holes. The inconsistent characters. Moving around too much without developing characters. Forgetting/dropping great characters. The treatment of minority characters.
I wish Emma and Regina's relationship was written into the show, beautifully and thoughtfully and they were true love, like Snow and Charming. I hate that that probably won't happen.
The lack of Swan Queen lol. But I mostly hate the Rumbelle pairing. It's an abusive relationship, and I just can't enjoy it at all.
The plot holes and sometimes cheesy writing, for every passionate Regina speech there's at least two snowing lines that make you roll your eyes
Writers... E&A... mostly.
I think hate is a strong word. There's nothing much I hate about the show itself- but the fandom can piss me off at times- live and let live, people
I hate that they are not brave enough to tell a good story (not necessarily for SQ) because they are driven by a conventional (and unoriginal) male-female relationship and thanks to that
they get some messages and plot twist that are bullshit. I also think that is lamentable that SQ is the ship that receives a lot of hate and they never defend us directly and also it seems that
it's an uncomfortable issue for writers and cast members And I don't know why. I know there are angry people that don't represent all SQ shippers, but there also these homophobic and
brainless people from other ships that only spread hate. I think we deserve a bit of consideration.
All the ships they've thrown at Emma and Regina in season 3. They add very little to the actual story. And I particularly hate Hook's behavior toward Emma, and how the media and
fandom excuse and/or romanticize his awful behavior. And I hate how the SQ fandom is demonized and called delusional. I definitely disliked that bio vs. adoptive parent issue. I feel like
it's getting better, though
i feel like they are creating rules and then they break them. like they always bring back dead people somehow. i just really hope neal stays dead this time. i hate him the most about ouat.
The "they're related" twist, and how the audience is expected to sympathise with Hook.
Inconsistency in characters and storylines, introducing new characters to force changes as a plot device instead of organically allowing the characters to grow and change
The fact that they are ignoring the connection between Emma and Regina, introducing new characters to separate them. plus the family tree is getting out of hand
The writing is crap. There are so many plotholes. Eddy, Adam and the writers are unable to acknowledge their errors (about gay relationships, rape culture, the representation of people of
color, ...)
The bad portrayal of adoption. The idea of black and white with too little grey in between. The justifiability of some actions just because they were made in the name of good despite them
being in themselves terrible things.
That it caters to this imagined "family audience" that apparently needs to be spoon-fed heteronormativity on a weekly basis.
Robin Hood and he apearing in the wrong place, in the wrong moment...even apearing in the show, WHAT THE HELL IS DOING HE HERE. The way that Regina hurt Emma, Henry and
herself in season1
I hate how rushed so much of the show is lately. It feels like the writers are always so eager to get to the next curse that they're skipping a lot of the in between stuff. The show is at it's
best when they just slow down and let the actors work their magic. There's so much talent on OUaT, and it really shows when the characters just sit down and talk to each other, this is the
kind of stuff that got us all hooked in season one. I also hate how logic seems to be avoided at all costs to make a certain plot point work, part of which is turning characters into
meaningless plot devices for one big story the will end up not meaning anything to anyone if everything in between has been so muddled in order to make the one big story. Fairy tales are
stories spun to teach a lesson. There's a reason the characters are all stereotypical people that lack a personality of their own, it's because they were meant to be plot devices, that's what
fairy tales are. The whole point of OUaT was to take these well known fairy tale characters and see what they would be like if they were actual people with complex emotions, a family, a
past, a good side and a bad side, and had to fight for their happy ending rather than having it handed to them on a silver platter. But when you take away their individuality, and shove them
back into stereotypes in order to make a plot work, they just go back to being stories again.
I have grown to hate the queer baiting and the constant keep watching, have hope, etc and then not getting anything in return. I don't like that the show is implying it is okay for men to
treat women the way that Hook has and does. I also don't like the twist they invented about pixie dust choosing your true love for you. Whatever happened to choosing for yourself.
Women are perfectly capable of choosing their significant other all by themselves. And we most definitely don't need a man to be successful and happy. This is 2014 not 1950.
The writing/writers and Adam and Eddy lately.
The lack of recognition of SQ. There's not even many pictures of Lana and JenniferMo together. It's like they seat them separately at every opportunity. Something bothers me.
HOOK. HOOD. The way pushing those LI's make R&E less as characters. Abandoned and unexplained storylines (f.e Snow's dark heart suddenly being pure again, how is Philip back.),
retroactive writing (f.e Cora and Leopold knowing each other in Stableboy, Tom Ellis's Hood not having a lion tattoo), show creators writing characters to fit the storylines, not storylines to
fit the characters which makes their behaviour OUT of character. No diversity on the show. The homophobic and full of hate viewers.
Inconsistent writing, no particular rules of magic so they often make things up willy nilly, romances often slipping into dangerous territory (Rumbelle), lack of self-awareness especially in
regards to the power of story (lack of representation of PoC and LGBT, not quite understanding the implications of what they do/say/acknowledge in the show)
- The judgmental attitude of the Charming who Can't Do Wrong (that's sad, because I liked them at the begining) - how the writers seem to be happy to make Regina suffer again and
again (and again). - what they made of Hook - I liked him as a villain - Henry when he forgets he's a child - which is most of the time - Emma sometimes - probably some other things
The fast pace it can take sometimes. When OUAT takes it's time with an episode an slows down, those will most likely be some of my favorites. I love seeing people connect in a scene.
Heterosexuality
Writing and story inconsistencies seriously piss me off, they drive me crazy with all the plot holes.
when the characters completely change who they are in order to fit the plot.
The fact that it's starting to be all about ships rather than a focus on a good story/plot line
CS AND OQ storyline
What do you hate about OUaT?

Robin Hood and Hook being thrust upon Regina and Emma so quickly.
The showrunners can't maintain a core narrative past being given shiny new toys.
The Captain Swan stuff. I actually really liked captain hook before the bullshit of him being in love w Emma started. Also, the idea that they might shove Regina of w Robin and expect his
son to replace Henry for her.
::sigh:: Let me answer that with a 5 year long web-serial / independent television network company project. I'm serious I almost hopped on a plane to throw my soul at a PA job on the
OUAT set and i am so so so glad I didn't.
The hesitance to write lgbt or racially diverse characters
I dislike the lack of minorities on the show. The overall lack of people of color is disappointing. Also, the whole "make Mulan gay and send her away" thing is saddening. Don't use the term
hate though. It's pretty ugly.
Robin Hood and Hook
Hook...bleh.
That the season is ending
Nothing really. Although Jared Gilmore is no longer cute enough to forgive his poor acting. He needs to step up his game. His costars are incredible.
Lack of continuity. Fucking Hook. THE BLUE FAIRY.
the sexism and glorification of abusive relationships/abusive male characters and the perpetuation of stereotypes like "no is only no until she says yes so keep trying boy"
The beards they pair our favourite ladies with.
The writing, that when it's good, it pretty good, but when it's not... it's lacks consistency. And sometimes there's too much going on in the show, with the characters, with the plot, and it's
like there's no time for anyone to really interact with what's happening. I hate Neal and Tamara's relationship became a non issue after Tamara's betrayal, despite claim on Neal's part that
he loved her. I hate that Hook fell for Emma out of no where, and won't respect her refusal to be with him. I hate how Regina's friendship with Kathryn was dropped once the curse was
broken. I hate how many female characters get killed or dropped, and the same to any non white character. AND I hate that Snow's love of David seems to be more valued over her love of
Emma and her second child (which wouldn't be a big issue if it was addressed by any of the characters, but it's not).
Sometimes the writing seems a little bit childish or too easy when the characters are facing problems
Contradictory ideas (plot holes). I pay too much attention to things.
STOP THROWING UNIMPORTANT ROMANCES AT REGINA AND EMMA WHEN THERE IS NO PLOT/FUTURE. THEY CAN BE SINGLE OR WITH EACH OTHER BUT STOP HAVING
THEM BE PURSUED BY GUYS WHO DON'T BELONG WITH THEM. AND STOP HAVING SNOWING BE SUCH IDIOTS JESUS THEY MAKE THE STUPIDEST DECISIONS EVERY
EPISODE.
ROBIN FUCKING HOOD.
THAT part of the fandom ( haters , assholes , etc) and the penis parade , never in my life I disliked male characters so much , idk.
the plot holes are a bit hard to look past sometimes
HOOK
How there can be inconsistencies with the behaviour/characteristics of people. How sometimes back stories or the past can be retconned to make way for something new the writers want
to add in.
The way the writing has gone downhill and things you think are gonna be a great twist are just stupid, the lack of diversity in the cast, the way they glorify Emma as Henry's mother and
only seem to pay lip service to Regina's role as Henry's mother, the way they rely on gimmicks rather than actual character interaction and well thought out plot, the way they can't seem to
keep track of their own storyline and when fans pick up on it instead I admitting they screwed up, they blame the fans for not watching properly... Just, so much.
The CGI is really bad sometimes and I don't think the story is always very consistent.
The regurgitation of certain tropes (ie. Rumple's actions can always be defended for one reason or another) and repetition.
The fact that 85% of the cast has ended up being related.
I hate that the only canonly acknowledged queer person isn't even on it anymore, I hate that Captain Swan is considered the main romance, and I hate how characters are dropped all the
time.
Inconsistency with show lore - eg can use magic to stop someone from taking Henry's heart but didn't do the same for Regina's. Stupidity - situations that could be avoided by the
characters not being so stupid (which they aren't)
Forced characters that don't have a great story but do get a lot of the screentime.
The shitty writing at times. Stupid plot points that could be fleshed out but are dropped in favor of other shitty storylines. FUCKING MULAN, COME ON. QUEER POC, THAT IS HUGE.
GRAH!!! Also, the fandom. The OUAT fandom is one of the craziest and worst group of motherfuckers I've seen at times. This can include SQ. I don't even go in the tag anymore. I just
have those awesome people I follow on tumblr and ignore all the 13 year olds who have found their way onto the internet.
The promotion and romanticization of rape culture, the misogyny, the way adoption is portrayed and poorly handled, the double standard of always trying to give Rumple sympathy and
Regina hatred within the fandom when he is a million times worse.
That they only seem to notice and force heterosexual pairings.
Shoddy storytelling & EVERYONE is related to each other Yeeee! Nope thanks..
you mean other than the fact that swan queen isn't cannon. and that we didn't get a post outlaw queen in the tent moment :p
Right now, nothing really, but if in the future they do nothing to progress and/or recognize Swan Queen, then I would hate that they wasted such potential.
PLOT HOLES
so many things.. i can't
The switch in the third season to what is clearly undoing all of the work they did asserting female agency in the first two seasons. It's like they went through a big show of making them

"women", and not helpless "girls", and seem to have taken it all back.
That the storytelling is bit inconsistent and starting to get repetitive. I dislike introducing Robin as a love interest for Regina. I don't like Hook's pursuits of Emma.
The writing and plot holes and character 'development' since 2x11
How frustrating it is when the writing fails to live up to the standards I know it could maintain. The writers are clearly so gifted and the actors portray them brilliantly, but sometimes the next
natural step is abruptly disrupted by some unnatural plot device that serves only to pander to "traditional family values" (AKA: heterosexism).
The lack of swan queen acknowledgement
Extremely predictable "plot twist", plot got boring, nothing new. Too many characters are introduced and the writers and producers don't even care to explore the characters that already
exist. The plot black holes. They killed Cora. Too many storylines were left open without a conclusion. Bad use of the characters ( ex. Ruby being the babysitter!!!!!!!!!!!). More plot holes.
Now the storyline seems rushed and desperate. It feels to me like they have run out of ideas. It's not about fairy tales anymore, now it has horror books and folks tales in it too, soon we
will be seeing Santa Claus and traveling to Narnia. Characters are ooc. Have I mentioned the plot holes. Yeah they are HUGE
The lack of continuity, the plot holes, the lack of logic, the cliches...all the things that stem from "not-good-writing".
plot holes loss of characters screen time lack of focus on important characters like emma and secondary characters like red/ruby the reset replay of the curse being over used time travel
is not my fav
That they showed me a show with the pilot and delivered something else afterwards.
The bit where they turned Captain Hook into a lovesick puppy. He was fairly palatable as a villain. Anyone who can fall in love in a week after carrying a torch for ones former lover for over
300 years must be a bit off. I'm fine with him liking Emma. I'm even fine with him trying hard to sleep with her. But at some point, after she's said "not interested" for the majority of season
3, I think the guy can't take a hint. Keeping him around without having him acknowledge that she's not interested and leaving her alone (at least in terms of romantic advances) is a really
bad message to send. Particularly to young viewers. No doesn't mean no. It means try harder. That's a bad message. I don't care how good he looks in a pirate suit.
The fan wars are ridiculous, the writers dont help with the twitter or interviews- it seems to add fuel to the fire, it feels as if Swen fans are always targeted and if you ship SQ- your opinion
no longer counts because "you just care about SQ" even if its an opinion or concern not related to shipping but instead quality or writing, bad messages, or plot holes. i had so many
people tell me to shut up when i ask about plot holes because i ship Swen or because im gay which apparently = i hate anything not SQ. the atmosphere is just bad- i feel only happy/safe
when im talking on SQ tags and thats it. the worst is the message with hook- being on the receiving end of something like this where no =yes and been sexually harassed its scary to see
something like that promoted. and yet the writers dont acknowledge these fears just "well its your Opinion/interpretation" - but if thats what can be interpreted, isnt that a concern. I just feel
like as a whole this show has degraded in quality and continues to decline-just like the plot hole number increase.
Pointless plot lines that go nowhere. And characters that we meet in one episode then die in the same episode (Joanna).
The rape culture surrounding Captain Hook. Not a fan of his character. Also sometimes how it favours Henry and Emma's relationship over his and Regina's just because she gave birth to
him despite Regina actually raising him.
The lost of originallity
The fact that lately it seems like Hook and Robin are doing all they can to pull Regina and Emma apart, to not even be friends.
that they make Hook a sexist fucker who thinks No means Yes, disgusting
All scenes without Lana
Captain Swan. It is forced and fan pandered. The pr for hook is annoying and their story is everything but not romantic. No means no and every woman should know that hooks behavior is
starting to be called harassment and it is creepy. I loved hook in season 2 but they destroyed one of my favorite characters for a ship. He is nothing but a plot advice and he is
embarrassing himself. I also don't like Robin Hood. It is not completely ship biased because I love to see Regina happy but it just feels wrong with Robin. In my opinion he belongs to
Marian because I grew up with this story and it he was not planed for Regina (he didn't have a tattoo In season 2). The whole pixie dust storyline is just wrong. Especially for Regina
because all her life she was not always able to do choices by her own. So I think especially she should be able to choose her love and not because of fate and pixie dust. Once has
sometimes lost their continuity and bring out of nothing a crazy solution like sharing a heart to save charming. That might be very emotional but it came out of nothing. They just hadn't a
better solution. Besides I think they should calm down. They have superb actors why rush from one realm, adventure, villain or whatever to net next. I want the swan mills charming family
to have a thanksgiving dinner. That would be entertaining and interesting to watch. I want Regina to tell Emma and Henry her story. I want the characters actually interact, talk about other
characters and have a "normal" life at least for once. It would be troublesome enough. Or just little funny plot lines like a body switch between snow and hook maybe and charming running
after hook aka snow. I just want to see all those characters I love to get to know each other. They need to slow down and let their actors do the job they can do best: interact with each
other without the next curse around the corner
The writers seem to queer-bait a lot :/
caption hook, robin hood , how the writing is going the last two seasons with all its plot wholes.
Outlaw Queen. The fact that they killed Zelena.
The plot is so lame.
Hood/Hook.
Unnecessary heterosexuality! Why does it need soo many male characters.!.
The poor narrative choices, the whole Robin Hood romance which has been incredibly poorly written so far, the lack of diversity in the cast...
how completely ridiculous it has gotten.
That it's turning into something less magic and more complicated and predictable plots.
Plot-holes, focusing on new characters instead of old ones, forced and underdeveloped relationships (OQ and CS), OOC scenes, Henry's growing family tree, fast paced and too action
packed storylines, simple and repetative magic powers (the fireball is getting old).. I can list a lot more but I'd rather not.
The quite common misogyny, Hooks complete character and storyline, that they abandoned Ruby
Inconsistency in the writing and character arcs.
nothing I truly hate
They take the show too seriously, do some freaky Friday stuff and switch bodies or something, do a damn musical episode, have some fun.
Poor writing The way they have pushed out characters like Katherine, Archie ect Hook when he relentlessy persues and uninterested Emma Robin Hood

that they needed to put heterosexual couples in the main characters
Plot driven stories, not enough scenes where the characters slow down and talk like Emma and Regina did in Witch Hunt. Too much forced stories and events created to push the plot in
certain directions instead of evolving organically.
NOTHING
The fact that they keep throwing dicks at Emma and Regina because they absolutely can not be in a gay relationship, even though they don't have any chemistry with any of their 'love
interests'
The Penis Parade. The consistencies. The writing which makes awful, awful implications which are never followed through. The idea of the 'hero' is such bullshit. The way the powers that
be like to tell us how to interpret things. The CGI omg. The fact that men (Rumple, Hook) literally get away with murder and Regina is repeatedly beaten back down because she has to
'earn' every bit of decency she's shown (both in fandom and by the show itself).
That they made Aurora pregnant so Mulan couldn't tell her true feelings for her!
They lack continuity
The inconsistency in the writing, that magical things to save the day are just there when needed, without further explanation or completely ignoring one plotline
This forced OQ storyline
The rushed romance between hook and Emma and Robin and Emma. And where is Mulan!
The penis parade
How they kill the essence of the characters to make forced ships happen.
Everything but Regina.
Regina / Hood Emma / Hook
sadness in some character backgrounds(more makes me sad rather than what i hate)
Captain swan and it's fandom, hook, robin hood, outlaw queen, sq who feel entitled to like oq and look down at others, CS/oq media pandering, the shot writing for Rumbelle, that Neal is
dead, CS/OQ. It's like OUAT has 100 problems and CS/oq are 99 of them
The fact their forcing relationships on Emma and Regina even if they don't make sense and they don't have Chemistry together What the hell hapenned to Mulan.
The forced character relationships, specifically between Emma and Captain Hook and Regina and Robin Hood and the judgments Regina has made recently because of that. The extreme
push for "Captain Swan" is becoming unbearable, as I personally see no chemistry between the two actors as well as how completely one-sided the whole relationship is. The ABC PR
department is partially to blame for this forcefulness. The writing of the show in general has declined in my opinion, as some ridiculous lines are being shot out left and right by these once
amazing & intriguing characters that make me question why I still watch the show. :(
The fact that they always target Regina when bad things come out. It's always the same and it's kinda boring in the end. Oh ! And that everyone is in the same family, I mean that's not
very realistic, like WTF does that even mean... It's quite disturbing actually.
How they set Regina and Emma up with stupid guys! It infuriates me
hella hetero
poor continuity and the desire to always make everything complicated
Fail writer, many incoherence. not really epic scene. Zelena death...
The inconsistent way in which characters are often written without much of an explanation for their behavior; the fact that the plot is very often rushed and leaves the characters too little
time to simply interact and talk things through and form relationships. Plus there are too many new characters who keep getting introduced, while the old regulars are hardly ever central
anymore (e.g. Ruby, Archie, etc.)
Rushed story lines. Acting abilities (Henry)
the loss of potential of some storylines - the rushedness of the storie (now in S3B mostly) - the heteronormativity so far - Robin Hood's "out-of-nowhereness"
Lack of POC characters , lack of queer characters, how there has to be constant action instead of just the characters sitting down and talking
It seems like every woman gets turned into a male-related plot device. Male characters are praised for decisions that a female character would be torn to shreds for. The propagation of a
misogynistic, rape culture. Queer-baiting.
gaping inconsistencies, heteronormativity, rape culture, white washing
The writing! It's terrible, and it feels like a complete waist of such a good base of both background, amazing characters and super talented actors.
The heteronormativity... Like i can sort of deal with CS because its been developed, but I hate the way the show is basically advertised with hook. Emma doesn't love him, she's said no,
but somehow, no means yes now apparently...
I hate that there is so much potential and it's being wasted on forced heterosexual relationships and ridiculous plot lines.
The second half of season 3, the plot holes, Hook, the inconsistencies, the fact that theu killed Neal instead of Hook, the way that Regina and Emma are sorta out of character
Inconsistent characters, dropping characters and storylines. Plot holes.
Two seasons of showing two women who seem like they're gonna end up together for sure. And suddenly, throwing men at them. Also I don't like how A&E sometimes make Jen play
Emma towards Regina.
The writing in the third season was all over the place, they tend not to be able to focus on one thing, often times things happen very fast and end quite abruptly when they should have
been dragged out and vice versa, things that could have been ended faster drag on. Overall this season been some shitty ass writing. Also it largely lacks in continuity, it's like the writers
forget their past episodes.
Heteronormativity, plot holes, badly written dialog, the focus on secondary characters like Hook as fan service while forgetting what the show was really about in the first season.
Sexism, racism, misogyny, the contrived love stories/ships, the way the legitimacy of adoptions is undermined at every turn. THE WASTED POTENTIAL. The fandom outside of SWEN.

That I can't tell people anymore "Oh my god, watch it, it's great!" as I used to with season one. Now that my friends and I watch Game of Thrones, Hannibal, Orange is the New Black,
Orphan Black etc., Once doesn't cut the quality line anymore. :(
The writing sometimes the need to reboot over and over rather than having people DEAL with shit
Hook abusive relationship with Emma, and Robin Hood annoying presence
that hook is being forced upon emma even though she has said more than once she does not want a relationship with him. That they have a town full of people and yet there are no gay
characters
There's unanswered questions/plot holes and they often make me fall in love with a character then basically never even mention the character again let alone show them. Also I feel they
are forcing Captain Swan and just...ew.
The hate generated in the fandoms and such. I don't think there's much about the actual show I hate because I have faith and hope that Eddy and Adam know what they're doing.
The lame fight scenes and sometimes lazy writing.
How unstructured the plot lines are, and how the creators do one thing, and completely go back on it in another episode.
CAPTAIN SWAN. With a burning passion. There are other things I dislike, but I really cannot stand the Captain Swan ship.
Some of the characters seem rushed to become more prominent faster without propper background implemented.
They have stopped really developing all of the characters like they used to. They seem to just be popping up out of the ground at this point.
The inconsistencies with characters and plots. They tend to retcon their own canon for the sake of a plot. Too many storylines left without and sort of real ending. The creators blatant
disrespect and favoritism. They introduce way too many characters and then do nothing with them.
Adam and Eddy..also the lack of diversity and LGBTQ representation
Ill list them: 1. No homo/unintentional. Unintentional by butt I dont buy that at all and then they go on and push male love interest to squish sq. And lets not forget about Mulan R.I.P. 2.
No POC. Really none and when they make an appearance it is short. 3. A womans happiness is brought by a manly man 4. Ret cons everywhere in order to change the rules that are
already set up. And they make their characters look dumb by changing their back-story. 5. Plot Holes everywhere too. The fact that the writers and creators have to explain to people what
happens in the episode is telling. 6. Pushing love interests. Especially with hook. HE gets frustrated cause Emma is not gushing and falling into his arms. No is no. 7. Having Hook and
Hood as shadows. They get forced into scenes even if it doesnt make sense. What even that scene where hood pops up: hes right wtf, you were not needed there. Forgot no homo. 8.
Screw the adoptive parents and their rights. But its okay cause now shell have a replacement family 9. ABCs pr 10. Rewrites. Its obvious they do crap at the last minute. 11. The way
they write romance. 12. Too much hook. And I hate how they prop him up and make it seems like he adds anything to the scenes. Force his importance on the show, but they will do it big
time with the finale and time traveling. The same with hood, he doesnt add anything to the scenes. 13. Overall they put importance on having higher rating than the quality of the show.
Quantity over quality. 14. Did I mention NO HOMO. 15. What modern twist on fairytales it has regressed Gosh and thats on the top of my head. Im sure Ill remember more after this.
Lack of continuity.
It seems they thew in some male interest. Trying to shut up SQ shippers and make them lose hope. Hook and Hood are not good for Emma and Regina. No means No. Stalking is not ok.
Hood is an arranged marriage, abuse on privacy stealing her personal letter and having the nerve to read it out loud. 'Oh look Regina can have a family and love little Roland and forget
about Henry and her 10 years(.) of raising him.' Like if Regina would just simply forget about her son and tossing him aside just like that. Hell no. Makes you think that they must be with a
man in order to be a strong female character and useless without one.
A&E force CaptianSwan and OutlawQueen it too much all at one time in every scene.
Their hesitation to introduce a homosexual couple. True Love should also be displayed amongst LGBT characters. It is time to acknowledge it and show a "true love kiss" between two
people of the same gender. I want them to stop being so judgmental and calling these type of relationships "unintentional" or like Goodwin said "porn", as if they were only for the filthy
minded. Love is love, no matter the gender.
They've made it a plot-driven show which is always drama, drama, drama instead of focusing on their original characters. Too many episodes wasted on one-short story lines. Too many
episodes wasted on unimportant and horrible characters like Whale and Hook. Season one was a female lead series but then Neal and Hook appeared and now we have Robin so that
our girls only play the role of the woman-to-the-man and not their own stories.
I dislike some of the rushed story lines, ones that just seem out of place and the plot holes that they have with unanswered questions.
Lack of representation in POC and LGBTQ, plot holes, too many side characters, inconsistencies.
Bad writing, plot holes, captain swan, the fact that they're ruining Emma's character, thousands of missed opportunities, immature mean fandom members, ship wars, some homophobia . I
also really hate how plot driven the show is, I wish they'd just focus more on the characters and how they develop and I interact with each other but instead the writers are more concerned
with adding more characters, curses, and "plot twists" that I give no fucks about! It's so annoying cuz they have these awesome characters(I'm nit just talking about Em and gina, I know I
said earlier that I don't really love the other characters but even I have to admit that they're all brilliant) with awesome traits and back stories that have so much potential for greatness but
end up almost being ignored (a prime example would be emma, cuz weve only seen like one flashback of her past when weve seen like 9 of reginas) and falling flat due to the bad "plot
driven" writing. It's sad cuz this show started off brilliant and so much potential for greatness but has gotten so much worse as the years have went by.
Robin Hood with a burning passion, and Captain Swan. I wish Captain swan was a bromance. I totally see Hook and Emma as best friends that say dirty things to each other like you do
with your closest friends and play video games together or something.
The lack of queer representation. Hook repeatedly following Emma after she has rejected his advances because he is "in love". Regina's lack of development with Hood.
I don't like the lack of POC. It seems very whitewashed. I'm only two episodes into season three and I DO NOT LIKE the hints of Captain Swan... They're my NOtp forever. I also really
don't like that swan queen probably isn't endgame... Emma could be SO GOOD for Regina, could help her grope her way towards being the good person she wants to be for Henry.
Regina could be good for Emma in that she wouldn't discount any red in Emma's ledger just because "she's the savior and that makes it moot" - Regina could help her just as much to
work through her own shady past and truly accept it rather than deny it. And they could be great moms to Henry! They could both just do so much good for each other and have a great
relationship, but... TV just isn't evolved enough yet, I don't think. People just couldn't get over the fact that the characters at the outset were not QUEERY QUEERS and the show is not
ABOUT THE QUEERS, when really, this would be such a great opportunity to help normalise the idea of gay people as family, as people with pasts, as lonely people, as happy people.
That they're forcing Hook on Emma. If they want them to be together, then let it be mutual. She's turned him down quite a bit. It's weird.
Rumbelle - I am tired of Belle forgiving Rumple when he constantly and knowingly lies to her and breaks his promises, then insists he does not break promises (deals).
I hate how we get new characters practically every episode for the sole purpose of being killed, I hate how plot is being reused and tweaked only slightly. I hate that we could have had so
much better, and we get love triangles and overused lines and character frailty, how some make progress and then its just take back as though it never happens. I feel like continuity is an
episode by episode thing at this point.

Its on 45 minutes an episode
Right now, the biggest thing is the romanticization of Hook and Captain Swan. I also hate the way they rush through or skip over important emotional beats. I want more focus on
characters as opposed to plot!
EVERYTHING... BUT NOTHING... BUT EVERYTHING!
How pathetically commercial they're being. They could have a great story here but they care too much to stay on air and make money to keep it real. I keep wondering how it would be if
HBO were making OUAT.
Inconsistency, the inability to let the characters sit, breathe, and talk instead of fighting a new bad guy every episode, adherence to 'traditional' family models and heterosexual
relationships instead of embracing the non-traditional ones they had to start with, but mostly inconsistency in terms of plot holes and terrible flip-flopping characterizations
It's plot driven, not character driven. It retcons storylines. It's lack of racial diversity. Of the few black characters it has, it kills of 99% of the them.
Lack of diversity. Especially in terms of LGBT and non-white characters.
The fact that Robin and Regina are being paired. Robin had a wife, and has a child. He aimed for a woman, he barely knew, in the past year! A year full of fighting! I feel like there's
something up with Robin, because Regina randomly gave her heart to him and they barely knew. There are so many signs leading to Robin working for Zelena. I just dont like the fact that
OQ and CS are being shoved down our throats. Hook can't even treat a woman right! He says sorry to them as if it was no big deal, when it really was!!
Henry's black and white views, even now when he has grown up.
The constant need to pair the main women with men. Having Regina as a second-rate parent now that Emma's in the picture. The inconsistency, and the lack of follow up for characters
that just disappear.
Nothing, really
God some if the characters are horrible i.e. Robin Hood
The whole "adoptive parents aren't REAL parents" bullshit in season 1, the tendency to make the least important characters/character that will soon die/villians dark skinned, snarming (or
snowing as people seem to insist on calling it), forced heterosexual relationships. To be clear, I wouldn't be so bothered by straight cannon ships if they were well developed instead of just
operating under the assumption that man+woman=romance. Like, gross. No. Try again.
I have countless problems with the show this season, but the things I hate the most since season 1 is: the plot holes, the pointless storylines, the underuse of awesome characters (such
as Ruby), the whole 'biological family: good, adoptive family: bad' thing, etc, etc.
Plot Holes Stupid heterosexual love interests with no interesting plot or point.
The writings just become progressively worse, the plot lines are so confusing and everyone is related. It's just weird.
I hate how they wrote Mulan as being Gay and was in love with Aurora and now isn't even mentioned on the show. just little writing gaps like that really make me annoyed
The fact that the men are stalkerish, creepy, and ,to be honest, not very good at most things, yet are forced upon these amazingly written female characters mainly to reinforce
heteronormicism.
Almost everything! OUAT have so much potential and they're ruining it (plot holes, superficiality, unnecessary characters, etc etc).
Inconsistencies, plot holes, lazy writing (putting stuff so it makes it easier to advance) and definitely Cora.
Robin Hood. I have never hated a character as much as I hate that man. Any other time they have a potential love interest I just laugh like "like look at this idiot with no chance" I think it's
funny. But he just gets on my nerves.
'I will always find you' Until recent episodes I hated how they made Regina secondary to Henry's life. I also dislike significant parts of the fandom who can't keep calm about 'shipping' and
always have to turn things into an argument.
I really hate that even though Storybrooke is so big, and there are a ton of characters, that during these battle scenes, more people don't come out to defend their town. I know we don't
know everyone there, and it is difficult to get the secondary characters on when they have other commitments. But just having the FabFour (sometimes five or six) fight off the villains
seems less fairytale-ish to me.
I hate the evidence about what's going to happen... I don't know if I am too quick for catching up, but it really spoils the turnups for me.
The terrible CGI and the infidels annoying continuity errors.
The silly plot that wrangles everyone's characters, ,asking them inevitably related to Henry. And the fact that Adam and Eddy can't write shit these days.
They forget their own stories and retell them in different ways to fit their current story line.
No swan queen
The weird writing, they can go from making Emma and regina look in love to enemy's in one episode, it's really weird. Plus the fact that regina was constantly tossed aside when Henry
found Emma, regina was still his mother and it really annoyed me.
The special effects are horrid
The writing. They started with a good thing and just kinda ruined it in season 2.
Robin Hood
Inconsistencies
They won't let swan queen happen... Also the charmings can get really annoying
The over-focus on men and them trying to 'win over' females, and the nonsensical meaning of the plot at times.
I hate it when the writers are trying to get me invested in new characters I have no interest in. No, I do not care about Hooks backstory. Also when they spend an entire episode to give us
backstory that adds nothing we didn't already know.
How rushed everything is lately, and how the minor characters get less and less screen time.
Honestly, a lot of the criticisms. Not a fan of all the negativity. The writing may not be perfect, but this show is for our entertainment. Wish people would be more respectful.

The sometimes crappy writing
forcing ship
... The direction the show has taken; how they completely forget to let characters stomach what has happened to them; how they make them fit to what they are trying to show, instead
letting the characters tell their story. Also: Hook. Such a great character from books and stories, such a bad execution.
The queerbaiting, the useless men characters, everything that has to do with Hook, how they killed every female villain, etc.
The inconsistency
plot holes
Mainly the Captain Swan and Outlaw Queen's scenes.
FORCED LOVE INTERESTS
The writers don't listen enough to the fans. For example, I watch "Castle" and we talk about something we would want to see in the show in the fandom and boom, a month later, it is in an
episode. We could make a list of the things we want and wanted to see and almost all the elements would be crossed because they did it on the show. On Once Upon a Time, it only
happened once and it was with Emma and Regina stoping the trigger.
The plot inconsistencies.
That a woman is complete with a man verses a woman.
The "penis parade"
Mostly things the writers have done; the way Regina has been treated, the love triangle with Neal and Hook, all the romances have been really flat and have no substance or depth to
them.
No. Don't get me started. Just don't. SO MANY THINGS. Like plot holes and forced romances and the fact that a show that used to be about badass women has turned into a show about
Hook and Hood and how supposedly hot they are (am I the only one who doesn't see it, like I just don't find them attractive, especially Hood) and how they can woo our leading ladies... by
you know, making our ladies out of character.
cs and oq
Inconsistency in characterisation, such as Emma lately, or how often they make characters stupid to make stupid plots work. Irrelevant characters getting way too much screentime. Too
much time spent on pointless backstory or lame fairytale reimagining instead of seeing more of Emma's backstory or what happened in that missing year. (eg didn't like The Tower - it was
all about Charming and added nothing - or Cora's recent backstory because it kind of broke her history). *coughs* Sorry, done ranting. :P
what don't I hate. read the answer to the question 23
Plot inconsistencies, "let's throw a dick at EVERYONE",........
I hate Outlaw Queen and Captain Swan.
It could be so, so good, but the writing staff just isn't up to the job. It feels like it's slapped together anymore and they aren't thinking about it at all. There are plot holes I could drive a truck
through and constant jibes at the fans sometimes. It's frustrating.
The lack of development in several plots, the forced relationships, the lack of respect to non-blood related families (yeah! Im talking about how they went all "Regina doesnt have the right
to be with Henry" or "he is my son and you wont be near him again" as if she didnt raise him for 10 years, as if they suddenly had the right to decide those things when they just came out
of nowhere)
rumbelle. and the hook/emma/neal triangle
The sUCKY plot lines that are black and white and how they in no way address the moral ambiguity of monarchies, plus it is in no way ok to use the same cure stick every time. (seriously,
L&O SVU tried reusing the whole "ptsdOlivia" thing once and it was crap this is like the 3rd or 4thor 5th time with the cure bit, enough already) Plus the poor characters never really
develop true relationships because the writers are so focused on action.
The writing is very staggered and there are a lot of characters that have been jipped by the show.
The Charmings, sadly.
I don't hate anything; if I did I wouldn't still be watching it.
I dislike how they constantly have a new bad guy or a new bad thing on the loose. I know they have fairytales, but I would really appreciate an episode that was lighthearted and dealt with
weird random fairytale things. Also, they go through so many character so fast that we never see again and it's confusing, I know there's the main cast but I would like them to focus on the
main cast and step back from new fairytales for a while until we update on the old ones. Everyone being related is become a running gag and I also wish they would focus more on
emotion in this show. Really they just need to slooooowww down. Talk about things and maybe give us an episode with a musical number. It'd be greatly appreciated. Also get rid of Robin.
Like that is one thing (I just thought of) I really really REALLY can't stand rushed love stories. I don't do it. If they could just spend time to make one really well that would be wonderful.
LOOSE ENDS. ESPECIALLY WTF IS THEIR PLAN WITH EMMAS TATTOO.
The untouched potential of some storylines.
Heteronormativity and the way they disregard the issue of adoption.
The fact that it doesn't air year round.
Repetitive story lines and an unwillingness to take risks in the storytelling.
So many wasted opportunities, lack of continuity, ridiculously outrageous storylines.
The heteronormativity.
The forced romances, the plot holes, the inconsistent character personalitys and writing
At the moment that they killed the Wicked Witch, also Hook.
PLOT HOLES!! Its kinda ridiculous how often this show makes absolutely no sense... Why does everyone have to be related. Please, slow down and let the characters interact. By far my
favorite moments on this show are when the writers are not throwing some contrived plot point at us and the fantastic actors are allowed to just deal with all their crazy emotions and

relationships.
Omg this could take awhile! The writing drives me up the wall sometimes it great but most of the time its all over the place. It makes watching the show a pain in the ass somethings. I
really hate what they've done with both Regina and Emma with the whole male love interest thing. Emma and Hook makes no sense and it boring as all hell, then Regina with Hood is like
give me a break, its being pushed way too fast and no believable. Neither has the chemistry Emma and Regina have together!!
I don't like when the characters start going out of character. Otherwise not much.
almost everything
The male characters who try to get between Emma and Regina
Swan Queen isn't cannon!
Inconsistent storylines, too many random characters no one cares about getting entire episodes (when we barely know anything about Emma -freaking- Swan), lack of people of color who
get to live and aren't villains, lack of queer characters, lack of SWAN QUEEN, misogyny, how they made Hook into Spike from Btvs, Robin Hood and Rumplestiltskin in general.
The lack of character development. Where did Robin come from.
Smothering the gay!
The continuity issues and the constant guys thrown at Emma and Regina. Also the lack of representation
Inconsistent character development and plot macguffins (convenient plot device/deus ex machina)
Plot Holes Inconstant Characterizations (Emma mainly) Mulan and Aurora - I wouldn't have minded if Aurora turned Mulan down because she loved Phillip or a similar situation however I
found the way they blocked a deceleration of love with a baby to be insulting. It seemed to be that this was an enforcing in a way of the 'traditional' relationship. A man and a woman who
have kids together so how can Mulan compete with that. Snowing are the 'main couple' and the 'main true love' couple of the show; a heterosexual white couple. For me the Mulan and
Aurora story line (or lack of story line enforced the image that the Snowing relationship is the desired relationship that everyone should want.
The fact that how Robin Hood it's a male version of Emma. I can't handle it.
It's a bit slow paced & dragged out stories and yet somehow still cannot explain everything. Sorta frustrating.
Bad writing
Heteronormative bullshit, beards for emma and regina, and shitty queer-baiting. Also, just....soap-opera-y writing (family tree insanity) and lack of consistency/continuity.
Sometimes it makes no sense. Romance sensibility is at level of a preteen girl. Rumbelle is a bit like stockholm syndrome. Seems like everyone saw Regina as unforgiveable but Rumple
was ok...but that may have changed.
Continuity errors and the easily explained, but lame excuses as to why a character does something or can't do something such as why Emma can't find another method to save Hook from
drowning other than to give him CPR in "Kansas".
Ohhh oh ohh. heh. Maybe should have read all the questions before I answered them eh. okay a short list Rushed storylines The constant imminent threat to life Unexplored side
characters The fandom is batshit crazy Shitty rushed relationships The shit piled on Regina Hook Robin Leopold Ploooot hooooooles Just the concept of emma and regina with hook and
robin and leopold makes me wanna barf Very rare blow you out the water amazing episodes that need to be more frequent The constant twisting of the rules in order to make The plot
work (oh we need to back to storybrooke, lets enact a curse, oh yes i'm fine with killing my husband and the only true love of my life, oh no hes dead, give him half of my heart cuz that
totally makes sense go on regina you know this is a good idea) ugh there is more but maybe this is enough for you to work with. ;)
Lack of representation for the lgbt community.
WRITING. And the fact that it had so much potential on the first season, but it went to s*** after that, and it hasn't been able to pick up the brilliance that was the first season.
Writing inconsistencies, overuse of plot devices, lack of diversity in characters
Poor writing and going back and forward with the curses, rushed romances
The disgustingly poor writing and how anti climatic everything is. Supposedly dramatic scenes fall short and I don't know if that's because they don't have good enough CGI to do what
they want or just more bad writing. They're always too short and fail and you're just left feeling unsatisfied.
the writing is laughable and I am disturbed by CS and OQ - AND NOT BECAUSE OF SQ OR THAT THEY ARE M/F PAIRINGS - they are so poorly developed and forced - ew. AND Hook
really has some qualities that are creepy - stalking and rape jokes, and this is what young girls think of as romance.
Their way to just make character disappear, like ruby, and mulan, Their way to rush some love story,
Promotion of some unhealthy relationships. Little/no LGBT representation.
I hate that it has been grasping at straws for story lines lately. I wish the perfection of S1 would return. And obviously I don't like Hook or Hood.
Uggggggh I could write a book about all the things I hate about ouat but to sum it up: -captain swan -hook(who I actually used to like but now hate because of w shitty writing and captain
swan) -plot holes -missed opportunities(mainly with sq) -shitty writing -the hostile fan base, frequent bullying, and ship hate (I know I've ranted about how much I hate cs but I would never
do it to a cs shipper's face)
the easier question is what i don't hate. really, almost all of it are terrible. continuation, characterization, plotlines (if you can call it that), etc. ouat is only great in casting department and
costume department, imo.
Forcing of Romance without development. I believe that is where the plot started to die. The makers focused so hard to kill SQ that they didn't realize how poorly they were building.
Inconsistent character development.
I hate hook and Robin Hood and captain swan and outlaw queen because those couples don't make any sense! And I hate that other fandoms make fun of swan queen and that we get
bullied just because we ship them.
Their failure to portray any same-sex relationship or representation off properly so far (I mean there's Sleeping Warrior but they brushed that under so fast). I have no problem with Regina
and Emma being completely straight if they are, but I have a problem with a lack of canon gayness.
The poor writing.
the way i feel queer baited and captain hook.

The writing is making me cringe... you know like a train wreck you know you should look away but you just can't
They are loving the show too fastly in my opinion. Like actions On actions, Time travel, crossing realms, new villain etc.
Some people in the fandom. The whole OQ and CS mindless shipping. How many times does Emma need to say that she's not interested.
Rumpel making the same mistakes over and over again. The focus on the Charming family, Hook, Neal and Rumpel at the expense of other, more interesting, characters.
Right now. EVERYTHING No, but really, it had so much potential, the show could be PERFECT and ugh... :/
2 words... outlaw queen!
The inconsistency of it. Plot holes. CS. OQ.
robin hood out of nowhere ( for supposedly important character there was not much foresgadowing... It felt rushed). ooc of regina. Sq not canon
Some "Charmings" scenes :/ Henry sometimes
The OOC way they have written Regina with Robin. And the plot holes and the fact they don't go in-depth enough with their characters. Though they have done a good job of that with
Regina.
no
They keep putting emma with men and awful ones at that! And that sq hasnt happened fully yet
that sq isn't canon. the way they made oq this unbelievable ship bc there is no way rh could be regina's happy ending by how it's written so far.
Lack of logic, lack of continuity, occasional disrespect of the fans
The forced relationships
Some plots who doesn't make sense
That the writer is not putting Swan Queen together for real as a couple
No SwanQueen and all the pushing of heterosexuality on some of the female characters.
Snow White most of the time...
The charmings and belle
the more obnoxious fans harassing the actors for what their characters do or do not do.
It can have very sexist undertones. It's no longer a family show. I don't like Captain Hook/Killian Jones.
I hate that Swanqueen aren't together yet!
Sometimes the special effects.. And some parts of the stories that the skipt or miss.. And why in a fairytale stories can't have a gay couple.. I mean, they're so modern for some things,
why could not in this regard.
The way how they Give us false hopes on SQ just because we are the biggest fandom and need the audience.
Don't know, i guess nothing...
The rush of everything and the lack of character development. We've seen a little in 3B but I don't think it's a surprise that everyone loved the Regina/Snow chats and the family dinner.
The homophobic bullshit.
The way it's being written now
Dumb filler
Pretty much the oscilations between the characters's behavior. I understand that sometimes different writers write different scripts for the show. But sometimes I find it important to keep an
advancing behavior, at least at some characters. I also see myself being quite irritated about the queer bait or the way Sleeping Warrior was "shown" to us. I find it EXTREMELY infuriating
to being promissed something and don't get anything in return.
Characters that bring no sense to the story, like mulan, Aurora, Ariel, etc.
oh god, they screw up almost every single good plot they have!
Nothing. Although sometimes the lack of SQ can be annoying there is a reason for everything and the show is so utterly enjoyable that I still can't help not being addicted. I find myself
trusting Adam and Eddy.
the forced relationships. Robin Hood. Something about that guy really grinds my gears...
WOW, i don't think this will fit in here, lol. I hate the way they act like our fandom isn't important, i hate the way they're always adding new characters and discarding others (wich totally
ruins the story) i hate their unsightly canon couples, the way they forget their own stories, break their own rules and leave loose ends and unanswered questions, the way they explore
terrible characters and forget really good ones, and mostly, i hate the way they ruin characters and stories that used to be good.

All the new characters constantly.
I think there are stories that need more sense and some fandoms are really bad with each other.
The effects. are horrible
Outlaw Queen. For me is the most detestable plot that exists in Once. It makes no sense and is poorly constructed, and seem a heteronormative and poorly made copy of SwanQueen
I hate Rumbelle, and when Emma get confused about her feelings.
Mary Margaret's hair. (haha, sorry but I'm not joking actually). And more seriously, all the male LI that they're throwing at Regina and Emma like it's an absolute necessity to have a man in

your life. And the fact that they tried to give us LGBTQ representation by making Mulan almost declare her feelings to Aurora, but oh, look at that, she didn't even say it, and oh that will
never happen anyway (like that was enough representation). In other words, heteronormativity.
I hate that ouat did not develop Regina and Robin hoods relationship more. They had some smart remarks to each other here and there in the lost year but they did not establish a bond. It
was too rushed. I also do not like how ouat just shoved off the whole Mulan and aurora arc. I feel like they just threw it in there just because some of us were talking about how there was
no queer representation in the show. It felt like it was thrown in just to shut us swan queen shippers up.
I don't hate. Just I want swanqueen canon
the forcing of relationships for a supposed happy ending regardless of whether the storyline makes sense for the characters involved
The way they're pushing Emma to Hook and the way they changed Regina's character over night just so she could fit on that ridiculous tattoo plot. It not even make sense
To many secondary characters on the show. I would prefer "monster of week" style.
The refusal to acknowledge the obvious fit the Emma and Regina are and how perfect their relationship would be for Henry.
Essa histria denamor verdadeiro de regina e hood e emma e hook
the lack of caring for the charcaters (things happen and they deal with problems very fast and I it makes it unbelievable for me most of the time)
The Charmings sickening sweet dispositions and constnt reliance on true love
Eles moldarem personagens com boas personalidades modificando completamente elas para se encaixar em um cara.
Inconsistency (quality etc) and not using its full potential.
I hated neverland that shit was boring as hell.....
Okay, so...lately, the writing has become very repetitive. "Oh, look, we're about to be cursed. Again." This is about the third time in three seasons they've done this. Not to mention that the
family relationships are incredibly convoluted, especially trying to explain them to someone outside of the fandom. Add to that the dialogue is turning increasingly soapy. I also don't like the
use of flashbacks now. They've already done them to death. it's like they're using them as a way to extend the episode rather than flesh out the story. The Zelena storyline ending as it had
in the last episode was very disappointing. I feel like Once starts storylines and then abandons elements that could have been very powerful. For example, what happened to Mulan and
Aurora.
Sometimes the writing bores me because I don't think some characters actions fit their personalities. So they seem to be acting for the sake of the story instead of the character acting by
itself. Not sure if I explained well but that's related to script\book theory which I studied
The fact that some unfinished stories
I hate the patriarchal world they created, the rushed storylines and of course, the plot holes.
The plot holes and the sneak peeks that almost always shows something that is not true, they're kinda pointless; you wait for something and they show completely other things, so outta
context, I mean...
Ahhhhh the continuity/plot holes/useless interactions/useless romantizations.
The writing lately. Such a waste of story potential. Also the pushing of Hook and Robin.
The show is so badly writing right now, it's really sad, the script is trash, this story between Robin and Regina, omg, it's so ridiculous and forced, I can't even. And the way they are writing
Emma, she is being a bitch, that is not Emma at all. They ruined all the characters that I loved :(
Nothing.
Outlaw Queen
Killian, Robin and other males thrown at Regina and Emma.
Lack of consistency in most of the ep
Ha! You're funny. Do not get me started!
So many things tbh. The fact that it has turned into this big sausage fest, the major plot holes and the boring ships (san Swan Queen ofc) are the ones at the top of my hate. Also the lack
of diversity in terms of race and sexuality.
The way they leave plots open and pull story lines out of their asses. They leave things unexplained
Not enough action, too much relationships
Terrible story management. I wish they would slow down and let their actors react to one another.
Too much to mention. I fast forward a lot.
THAT THEY WON'T ADMIT THAT EMMA AND REGINA BELONG TOGETHER! and they won't let Emma and Regina kiss each other. =( also, that I have to wait a week between
episodes, but there's not really anything I can do about that...
Sometimes their use of green screen which makes the actors look green.
Rumple always getting away after making shit.
Ugh. The way it started out as an awesome show with strong female characters in season 1 and then went progressively more to shit with each episode starting from 2x02. I miss my
strong ladies. And why does Rumple get so many.
Almost everything. :D
The heteronormativity
Its character inconsistencies
The way they treat Regina as a lesser mother to Henry because she adopted him. She is his mother, and Emma truly has no right to him, legally or other wise.
Inconsistencies, biased, same plot on repeat it seems.

Some of the writing is a bit repetitive and the 'twists' seem incredibly apparent. I also hate that everyone is related. Why..
The genealogy tree that's starting to look like a forest. The number of secondary character that could have a great part but are left behind to focus on the main cast, and the said main cast
that lack backstory (in particular Emma).
all the plot holes
I hate nothing.
It feels like the writers are forcing Emma and Regina with people out of unrealistic and out of character reasons. I hope Adam and Eddy can get past that stage and consider more
interesting routes.
I hate the fact that Snowing is so terribly forced. At times I feel like Snow's character is just terribly insipid and pathetic. As a Swan Queen shipper I do NOT hate Outlaw Queen, BUT I do
hate the fact that Regina fall in love(into his bed) after 4 episodes. Seriously. DO ME A FAVOUR. I could go on: Terrible acting: Neal/Baelfire; Hook/Floor Prop Ruby blur, Writing
inconsistencies: Emma's lie detecting ability Perversion: HOOK and his sleeziness
Out of character lines, Outlaw Queen (its been like 3 freaking episodes)
Plot holes/inconsistencies /general dysfunction (who is the other Robin Hood from season 2.. Where did Mulan go.. Where did Ruby go.. Are we gonna talk about the fact that Mulan is gay
or just leave it at the 30 second scene she had with Aurora.. Cora made Regina marry a guy she almost married.!..), rushed character development (Regina, Belle, Emma - who is all over
the place right now, I have no idea what to think about her character at this point), rushed romances (Outlaw Queen), ridiculous romances (Captain Swan)
The networks fear of making swan queen endgame
The poor writing choices Outlaw queen The convoluted family tree I also do not ship Regina with the floor
Well, I feel bad saying I hate anything about the show. It's something that the writers and cast are passionate about, and I feel like it would kind of be hurtful. But, the heteronormativity is
also hurtful. I guess I hate that part. I also find Captain Hook's character to be a creep. He says rude things and I think he needs to understand what disinterest is. I don't like what his
character promotes. The lack of POC representation is also a negative factor. It's just another show filled with straight white people. But, there is always time for change!
Haphazard writing, and the fact they ignore for the most part Sexual minorities except for a little blip, and I call it that, if Mulan loving Sleepy Beauty. That was trying to throw a really shitty
bone to SQ shippers who are saying that they don't support SQ because it's a love between two women. It was cheap and over before it even started. One scene and that's all it was. It
was crap.
Writing, lack of character development
OOC Regina in 2x20 and Emma in these last episodes, I don't understand why Emma changes her attitude toward Regina so often without a reason. In one moment she is really nice and
in the other she is mean.
plot holes, new magical macguffin every two seconds, the absence of logic and the fact that it refuses to follow the rules it has set
Sometimes I hate the fandom. I don't really like the ship wars. Usually I avoid all that stuff because I start watching shows years after they've finished airing. I'm disappointed that they are
focusing so much on love interests instead of families. They did pull away from that when Regina and Snow FINALLY talked, though, so I guess they haven't completely forgotten about
that. I'm disappointed that they haven't gone more into Emma's past. She only got one background episode and that was to explain Neal. I enjoyed the episode a lot! But, I want to know
more about her. I guess they're not focusing so much on her because her background must seem mundane compared to anybody who has magic and dragons in theirs. Which makes me
sad. Actually that's another thing. It makes me sad when people don't like Emma. Seems to be a common thing. I also don't like how some of the actors seem to think it's okay to pick on
people on twitter. Though with that Michael guy, I guess the other actors really stood up against that and that's good. With the Sean guy, he really needs to not go looking for untagged
criticism and retweeting it and telling people to not watch the show. It makes me kind of dislike him personally and I hope that he gets a good talking to from his boss.
They turned the show into a dude fest and I had to stop watching because it was frustrating to watch the characters that i was watching the show for get shoved into the background for a
character that should have been killed off a long time ago.
Nothing really
The way the writers treat certain shippers and the way the show has become less quality.
Throwing male love interests at Regina and Emma. Lack of Emma's backstory.
So many things - how they write characters OOC so many times, how they through love interests at Emma and Regina without proper development, how they are always resorting to
curses and all this stuff and never just let the characters live and work out their problems, how they threw Sleeping Warrior aside...I could go on forever
the rush of putting certain couples together and some other things i can't think about at the moment
pretty much everything but Swan Queen, the plot, the story telling, what I hate most is it's potential to be so much better than it is .
The fact that it plays to the mainstream instead of being what was originally advertise a modern version of fairytales.
Heteronormativity
No LGBT characters - besides Mulan but she's leaving/left
craptastic writing that focuses on the wrong things
The lack of continuity and the stupid 'hate on Regina' that was season 2. The blatant sexism that never gets addressed and the show's push of 'biological family is most important' (that
they've changed slightly does not negate the fact that those views were shown). The fact that the abuse many characters (but mostly Regina) go though is never addressed again (let's
talk about being electrocuted and being forced to marry her mother's beau) and that the show tries to force a black and white classical fairytale view on everything while claiming to rewrite
fairy tales.
Their continued efforts in trying to portray Rumple as a hero and of course the useless pandering to heteronormativity in the name of romance in the form of Hook and Hood.
Lack of follow through w plot; nonsensical storylines
Sooo. Many. Things. Plot holes, shoddy writing on occasion, the entirely OOC characterization of one red leathered savior a sassy evil queen. The romantic pairings they are trying to
push...
Where to even begin... I feel OQ is being forced upon us. The writers think they're telling a great love story but really they're just showing us another time in which Regina has no control of
her own destiny...100% if the whole Tink with the fairy dust and tattoo scenario never happened Regina wouldn't even blink twice about getting with him. How the show went from
"independent women who don't need no man" to "which guy can they make out with the most on this episode" That they killed Neal by basically saying he's stupid and can't learn from his
fathers mistakes and gave the message lifes a bitch then you die. I actually used to like Hook when he was the "villain" but then they turned him into a giant whimp and how he's all of the

sudden in love with a girl he met like not even a month prior after just being on a vengence quest for 300 years...
The inconsistenty of some of the stories (Neal returning to FTL even though he had no part in the original curse) and the sudden disappearance of characters (Ruby, Mulan, Ashley; but I
do understand how their contracts work so I don't fault them too much for that). Also the way certain 'absolute' laws and rules are conveniently sidestepped to make a plot feasible
(messing with the past, no fixing death but being able to break your heart in two and still live while using the other half to bring someone else back to life).
Some explanations are missing, other parts of the story are not built up well. The flying monkeys are just ridiculous.
The fact that every couple is heterosexual (our only canon non-het character is Mulan, and she ended up heartbroken and miserable). If this is a kid's show, then it's showing kids that only
straight people end up happy, which I think is wrong.
The inumerous plot holes, the lack of continuity, the way they simply forget about some of the characters (like Ruby and Jefferson)
Inconsistent writing, toxic ideas about ideal love/relationships, lack of diversity in all areas, and a failure to understand how healthy family works (especially adoption).
The objectification of woman, the little thought they gave into the sociological questions like the heteronormativity and the "no homo" attitude they adopted towards the public.
Lack of continuity and not giving characters decent screentime (Red for example)... and just leaving it with Sleeping Warrior.
The bad cartoonish acting and effects. The Plot holes. The over the top true love crap. That good is black and white when the good guys kill without thought. Those poor guards That
adoptive parents aren't real parents. I'll have to tell my dad that. No no it doesn't matter that you took me in and raised me, showed me that all men don't hit and abuse...you aren't real.
Once upon a time told me so.
THE FUCKING INCONSISTENCIES.
I hate that they haven't brought characters from Frozen on to the show yet.
The terrible special effects, and sometimes the writing is subpar. Everyone on the show is annoying save for Regina and Emma and ESPECIALLY Snow and David.
uuuff lately i've been disappointed in a lot of things but mainly captain swan
Aside from the graphics. Not much. I love the show for what it is, even if it doesn't go my way.
That there is no happy homosexual couple. Even if they're planning on adding somebody the fact that they didn't go into this with gay characters in mind makes me mad. Also, that there
are not more poc. And ditto on the happy endings there too. They all die or disappear.
Oh, boy. That's a long list. But the biggest is the lack of respect the writers have for the viewers. They don't seem to care about their own story or what they give the audience; there is no
continuity, answers are tossed out on twitter but not thought out, Adam regularly lies and baits fans, and proper focus is not given to the main cast but instead shifted to the love interests.
When the show was first airing, it was marketed as being modern twists on fairy tales, but we've gotten nothing new in these stories; characters that were once interesting strong females
(namely the main three women) have been reduced to damsels, and love interests, and caricatures of the women I fell in love with in the first season.
Hm is there enough room in this box. First of all, I hate the fandom (the overall fandom) especially the ship fighting and the hate online. Because SQ cops more than its fairshare simply for
being an f/f pairing. And I hate the responses of the writers and castmembers on twitter (barring Lana Parrilla who has always been awesome and supportive). They have a platform that
they could use to step up and defend all their fans and even though they have been doing that recently it's a bit late IMO. SQ has always been the biggest ship and they only realised by
the end of season 2 that they were ignoring a huge contingent of fans. Plus the interviews they give at those Paleyfest things etc. when they get asked about SQ. The earlier ones always
ended up with us crying. It's clear that these days they've either realised they're losing fans or their PR people have warned them. And the actors defending themselves as not knowing
they were hurting people's feelings or (because they don't know what shipping is) is no excuse. They are in this business. They choose to interact with fans on twitter and are happy to
take all of the fame and positivity that comes with that. They have to take the good with the bad as well. They are one person and a single thing they say can impact and reach so many
people. And to be offended by anyone even suggesting that something they say isn't fair to other sexualities/gender etc. isn't an excuse either. The defense that "i have always supported
LBGTQ people" means nothing and it doesn't mean that you can't say shitty things. Ginny Goodwin's tweets. Enough said. And Happygate. Whatever that guy's name actually is. I
absolutely HATE the thing with Mulan and Aurora. This is supposed to be representation of different sexualities. Um no. That was the ending of a story, not the start of one. It was made
clear at the very second of the reveal that it could never go anywhere, since Aurora was married off and announcing a baby and clearly in love with Phillip. Plus there is no precedent in
earlier season 2 scenes for it, so it seemed like an afterthought. Probably meant to appease "us". The people who insist its a family show use this as an argument to why we should be
happy with that little crumb and not "expect" or desire SQ. I hate the ship fighting and the horrible things I see online because it used to be a place where I could go and be with other ppl
who ship it. But there's just so much fighting even within SWEN sometimes that it's tiring. For all pairings there's always going to be shippers who give the rest of them a bad name, but for
Swen we get an even worse name for doing the same stuff as other het ships. There's no reason for why we have to be more moral and good than the other ships in order to gain favour
with everyone. Why should we have to be perfect and take the shit slinging on the nose when everyone else is doing it. The thing I hate most is that SQ seems to be automatically
doomed, like it's not even possible. And I'm sick to death of people telling me that it's never going to happen so just accept it.
Unnecessary love triangles.
The plot holes
The inconsistent quality of the writing.
I don't do hate, I think we have enough of that on the internet already. I just think OQ had too little developement to be happening that quickly.
Plot holes. At time poor writing. Cheesy lines. Bored acting from JM. Naff CGI. But I kind of love it for those reasons too.
The little to no continuity.
Rushed relationships
Characterization is sacrificed for plot.
Sometimes the writing seems very inconsistent with some plot holes and characters have some out of character moments.
WRITING.
The character development, the HUGE plot holes, the treatment of POC characters, the lazy writing
The inconsistencies in some of the characters and the Charmings. I believe that there is no such thing as black and white, good and evil, however you want to say it. A lot of who you are
is based on the people you around you, the situations you face and your actions. That makes for a LOT of shades of grey.
Lack of swan queen. Hook is very annoying as well as Robin Hood is just an awful character. So much potential wasted
Graphics inconsistency Too many Characters and story lines introduced and then dropped How rushed Outlawqueen is
The writing. Most of the characters. Hook. Robin Hood.

Poorly executed plot lines that could potentially be done in innovative and intriguing manners kill me. Like that could have been so great but no.
Hetero Normative Bullshit
having to wait a week between episodes
Literally everything. Except the things that are fanon and the really attractive cast. and when sometimes they do a good job at character development !
the love interests male robin and hook
The fact that the only queer character disappeared
the hate of the fandom.
I hate the fact that they killed Neal Cassidy/Baelfire off because if they decided to keep Emma and Regina apart at the end of the series, Neal Cassidy would have been a better option for
Emma than Killian Jones/Captain Hook. Emma, Neal, and Regina were my BrOTP and they killed Neal off without a need to do so. They're feeding into certain ships so much, and they're
losing sight of what's truly important to a lot of viewers, which is genuine happiness for the characters we love.
The story filler (the one which make a less significant development) to the bigger storyline. Sometimes when they are in the Enchanted Forest, I skipped through their scene because
without the people I care within (Snowing and SQ), it is hard to concentrate.
Regina being mistreated then making it out to be a joke sometimes, no one caring about her as much as she cares about them (not including whats-his-face), inconsistent characters, plot
holes, forced het ships, Hook and Hood, Snow White (though now I'm more tolerant of her)
The double standards between male vilians and female vilians being redeemed and the over emphasis of Hook by the advertising
The fandom! And the abuse that cast/crew get.
lame plots, a couple of bad actors, not keeping to inner logic of 'world' created just to do plot twists or drama
THE PLOT TWISTS THAT EVERYONE ALREADY KNOWS KNOWS and the plot holes.
The love triangles. The constant woman needs man nonsense. That the only Thing anyone strives for is true love and a family. I read a lot of fairytales growing up and they had more goals
than that. Henry might go to college one day. But for what who knows cause all he's taught is that he needs to learn to use a sword.
The fact that the writers try to force their beliefs about who should be ship with who on the viewers.
The useless characters that they won't get rid of! You know who I'm talking about. And the plot holes. So. Many. Holes.
Bad CGI and i don't know if it is call lazy writing but little things like when Cora made a fire and there was everything she needed right beside her, things that don't make sense like that.
HOW THEY DROP CHARACTERS LIKE FLIES. UGH. Especially all these fantastic, strong, subversive female charactersa female Jack the Giant Killer. Milah becomes a pirate.
Maleficent who would curse a woman to sleep forever but has a soft spot for her pony. Kathryn who left her ruined marriage to become a lawyer in a town she'd never been to. FUCKING
RUBY AND MULAN JESUS CHRIST. and also how their plot holes are as big as galaxies. AND THE WAY THEY TREAT THEIR WOMEN. REGINA MARRIED HER MOTHER'S EX...
FAIRY GODMOTHER KILLED AFTER TEN SECONDS ONSCREEN... JACK BETRAYED BY THAT SHIT PRINCE JAMES... HOW REGINA GETS SMACKED AROUND LIKE A
PUNCHING BAG EVERY FUCKING EPISODE. UGGGHHHHH.
Sometimes the writing and CGI are really bad. Overusing plot lines. Throwing in magical objects that never exsisted before.
That their characters are not written are acting the same, the writing can seem "out of character" if that is even possible.
I hate the heterosexual and the inconsistent writing.
The superbad CGI. How they always seem to rush everything (dont give important scene or plot points enough time)
Sometimes the plot goes a little too far. Like they are trying to twist everything hoping we will not notice the inconsistencies. This and sometimes it feels like the writers are shoving things
in our faces like Mulan + Aurora and Tinkerbell said Robin Hood was Regina's true love, so it can't be any other way
Nothing.
The Robin Hood- Regina bullshit
Sometimes the story lines are not consistent, the show is not sure if it wants to be campy or serious. Why hasn't Emma let her parents have it.
The fandom. The forced ships.
Incongruence. Plot holes everywhere. What happens to people. We are never told, so why do they introduce new characters if they are just going to drop them. For Christs sake! What is
the time line. How much time passes in every episode and season. How old is Henry (the actor is growing up) Henry is 12 now, and turned eleven sometime between 1 season and 2 half
of the second. So, really, he should be 13 now.
bad writting, too many hole plotes
I hate that there are homophobic fans (and in some cases, cast members). I hate the anon hate SQ shippers get on tumblr. I hate that the show can now claim to have had a bisexual
character when Mulan didn't even get to admit her feelings, it was just implied what she was going to say and who she was going to say it to. I hate the homophobic, ignorant, hateful
comments on the official OUAT Facebook. I hate that so far the show has given in to those comments as evidenced by the lack of even one single canon, out, queer character on the
show. I hate that as a lesbian, I can't yet look to the show and see representation of my potential happy ending.
- the freaking plot holes!!! - inconsistent writing - ruining characters - having so much potential and wasting it - not addressing unhealthy relationships correctly (so far)
The lack of continuity. There are so many unanswered questions and plot holes
the glorification of heterosexual relationships above all else (true love doesn't exist in real life)
inconsistencies and plot holes
How hard it is to figure out the timeline. How sometimes (not all the time) there are glaringly big plot holes and continuity issues.
NO LGBT-CHARACTERS. It's 2014 people.
Nothing.
Nothing. I don't like Regina's changes lately...but I don't hate anything in the show. Oh wait. Yeah, I hate Robin Hood. Useless character.

Nothing.
no foresight, plot holes, out of character, machiffin mania
A lot of things, at the top of my list has been their treatment of magic as an addiction/drug. I find it incredibly irritating that it's only Regina that has to give up her magic and is punished for
using it. We haven't seen Rumple be asked to give it up or punished for it, in fact her was welcomed into 'the family' without anyone so much a batting an eyelash. Regina's magic is part of
her, she had it in her, it's natural and I leave when they ask her to give it up they are asking her to give up a part of herself.
That some plots are introduced and later forgotten forever, though I understand we can't follow EVERY character in there...
hook. dudes (except henry, roland and charming they can stay). true love being the be all end all of relationships. other kinds of relationships being pushed aside for the sake of badly
developped romance. hook. neal (that one got handled thank). plot holes altho who really watches for the plot. fucking snow white being the purest of them all i'm so done with this shit.
The cast is too big. There are far too many plotholes.
There freaking plot holes!! They need to give us more scenes regarding big events. (Archies "death", and Emma not apologizing, etc)
Ruined so many characters with potential
Heterosexism and cheesy characterizations, lines, and plots
Everything being unintentional. It's killing me.
not being consistant
the lack of representation/diversity, both the pretty much all white cast and the all straight characters
Useless love triangles, and how some things are never explained, or there are contradictions in the plot. Or good characters just die, disappear, etc.
That the writers waste the potential of the show. They could do so much more with what they have.
the inconsistency of the writing and the carelessness with which they handle certain sensitive issues. also the lack of representation (lgbt and poc)
Once Upon a time in a Dick! Ahahha
The heteronormativity of it. (That isn't a word, is it.)
SwanQueen isn't cannon Yet.
KILLIAN JONES inconsistencies, character ones in particular. plot being put before characters and their relationships. race issues. gross attitudes toward adoption and blood supremacy.
the way that romance has overtaken every other relationship on the show even though it's irrelevant and spreads the cast too thin. unhealthy romances being touted as true love. but
mostly killian jones. yes. killian jones.
Hood. The back and fourth development between some characters also annoys me. I still have all the faith in the world that swan queen will be canon.
When they make the characters dumber than they are. Loss of edge for some characters after they got their memories back. Not enough character interaction/development scenes.
hook & robin
Hmm well season 3 has a bit of things I don't care for right now the biggest is the rushyness with Regina and Hood...
The heterosexism, the plot holes, the feeling that it's rushed a lot of things, the feeling that they glaze over conversations that need to happen or did happen but not in depth enough, the
missed opportunities for meaningful dialogue between characters that would strengthen their characters.
Just that I feel Emma and Regina are a little out of character right now in the season.
that there are more questions that there are answers recently
The fact the plot is being moved aside to make room for OQ and CS.
The writers trying to pair Regina and Emma with men all the time when they're obviously perfect for each other hahah
The heteronormative perspective and the way that stories stopped feeling real. To me, it was how fairy-tales showed how magical situations helped (or not) to solve the struggles of reality.
It become a show of how magic can solve every problem without any consequence, especially if it is a problem of a white male character.
I really don't "hate" anything, but there are a few things I don't care for. I am not a fan of the OUAT Belle or Emilie's portrayal of her. I also do not like Robin Hood or Sean's portrayal of
him. Other than those 2 characters, everyone else is fine. I don't like the constant PR that CS/OQ gets in the media. It gets old very quickly. Sometimes the writing continuity between
certain episodes is lacking. I am a stickler about this, and it bothers me that we are just supposed to overlook previous episode continuity just to conform to a new story arc.
Wasted potential in character development.
Tad racially closed off, some lgbt couples would be nice. Theres a bit of a holier than thou vibe sometimes, especially when it comes to biological parenting vs adoptive parenting
Emmmm NOTHING!!!
Writing can be atrocious /OOC at times, dropped plot points or characters
I feel like the OutlawQueen interactions are forced and that they are writing Regina's personality so she could fit in the ship.
the waste of potential. they deny things that are obvious, don't focus on the strenghts of the show, don't explore the characters and relationships and stories that are way more interesting.
Emma and Regina are not together yet. lol
Actually sometimes the weak writing and in conferences the absintmindly ignoring behavior about Swanqueen questions
Not OUaT per se, but all the media hype around it keeps pushing Hook down my throat, a character that I would otherwise enjoy, now feels almost unbearable. However, if Swan Queen
turns out not being endgame, then I will hate many aspects that would only make sense if Swan Queen were endgame. But the thing I hate the most up until now is how the show
disregards Regina and Henry's relationship to promote the bio-family normative.
Some of the story arcs suck.
The forced relationships pulled out of thin air!

The inconsistency. That it relies on selling non-biological parents/guardians as the "baddies" and the biological parents as ultimate heroes. I could write an essay about how angry it makes
me that Henry was made out to be such a great kid and Regina was made out to be a bad mother. She took care of him for eleven years of his life + he's a great kid = she's a bad mother.
Thankfully, the show has dialled that stuff down a notch. Also, Rumbelle gives me the absolute creeps. I don't hate it but I have to fast forward their scenes. Cannot watch them.
We don't focus enough on minor characters. Plus they rush too much concerning love interests. It has at least to be plausible, don't you think.
It's on only once a week and none of my friends understand why I'm so hooked to it.
That swan queen isnt canon
Not much I guess, There are things I don't like, things I find problematic but not hate. Or maybe the frutration that this show, with its premise, has the potential to be quite influencial and
original but is rather comfortable on using tiring tropes without much real audacity and putting the twist effect above everything else. Quite cheap.
(Where do I start.) I hate what the show dissolved into after Season 1. It wasn't a perfect season, but if GRIPPED me. I couldn't stop watching, I couldn't stop thinking about it, I couldn't
stop writing fanfiction for it and then Season 2 happened. I hate how Regina is treated (by fans, mainly), how Leopold isn't called out on his awful behaviour, the double standards in the
way both the show and fans treat Rumpel compared to Regina. I hate Emma's complete character re-write during S2, and the fact that she lost Mary Margaret (and how Snow
inadvertently tells her during almost every conversation that they have that Emma, as she is now, isn't good enough for her). I hate how the show stopped being about three incredibly
complicated, diverse, interesting, strong women. I hate the treatment of women vs. men, the treatment of poc (especially woc), and the complete and utter lack of lgbtqa+ representation
(because what they did with Mulan was WEAK, it was pathetic, it was utterly pitiful). I hate how we're 3 season in and it still hasn't been addressed that Regina was abused, neglected,
forced into an unwanted marriage, and raped. I hate how easily the writers seem to be able to justify the Charmings telling Regina that Emma has a better claim on Henry, because she
was still his "birthmother" during those ten years that Regina was raising him. (gross) Basically, I hate that two heterosexual white males are telling (what could be) an interracial lesbian
love story.
Graphics, queerbaiting, their not-so-obvious slip in of mulan as a gay character last minute just to say they could have one
Hook
The discordant nature of the show - taking itself too seriously while then also trying to parody itself. Followed by bad CGI. And terrible continuity.
Some inconsistency - don't say a character has something and then ignore it.
Bad CGI, forgotten secondary (and very interesting) characters
Their double standards. They can have Hook getting hookers and making rape jokes etc but can't have a same sex couple ... hmmm!
The forced relationships between certain characters such as Emma and Hook and Regina and Robin
Sometimes we can forsee easly what will happen, and there's often too much fluffy love
No one realize that ALL is Rumple's fault and blaim Regina. Episode are TOO SHORT (it must be one hour). I HATE Neal because of his comportment against Emma. and Henry because
he deny Regina.
Their introducing tons of meaningless characters.
The writers try to pairing the Evil Queen with Robin Hood. If Swan Queen is not going to canon on screen. I want my queen to stay Single and Sexy. The queen is very strong, she needs
no man to protect her.
Sometimes Henry did not care so much about Regina. And it makes me crazy
La manipulation des producteur
cf question 15
the stupid clich of straights couples (but i am biased) and i hate Belle (but i can't stand the bad acting of the actresse)
Lack of Emma backstory. The rushed beard true love crap.
That it's not on more often! Also that the characters don't get at least one episode to breathe. SOmething is always happening, portals, curses, evel... just one happy/funny episode would
be nice! Also curses... too many now, something else needs to happen that isn't caused by a curse.
Everyone is related ... Why.....
TOO DAMNED MANY COMMERCIALS!
How the narrative treats Regina.
Robin Hood.
Plot holes
Just how slow the burn is. I both hate it and love it.
Its lack of recognition with Swanqueen
HOW CAN THEY NOT SEE THE PERFECTION OF SWAN QUEEN!.
Not hate, just annoyed I think. It's the promo, sometimes they are misleading
Sometimes they really do get episode's very very wrong were everyone is so OOC that even the actors look uncomfortable with it.
everything
They bring in brilliant characters -Ariel, jack etc and only use them for v short amounts of time. Hook and hood!
Regina hate
That Neal is dead.

Cora is death
Well, with season 3, i feel they have forgotten about their first idea of twisted fairy tales and they're going more and more towards un-original hetero love stories and it's boring.
annoying characters like hook, neal and robin hood. don`t HATE, just could do without :)
The flashbacks to fair tale land and the episodes about characters other than Regina or Emma.
The recycled storylines are exasperating sometimes.
The way they handle some situations, the disappearance of some characters(e.g. Kathryn, Mulan)
The racism, sexism, homophobia, neteronormativity, anti adoption crap. Also the hateful, bullying fandom annoys me.
The turn it has taken this season, the whole stupid triangle thing and the ridiculous and predixtible writing
I hate that they won't make swanqueen happen already, like as a couple ! The Swan-Mills family.
Outlaw Queen and Captain Swan. Not because they conflict directly with my OTP but because OQ is so horribly forced that I just can't stomach to watch the "romance" or the character
assassination they are perpetuating on Regina. And because Hook chasing Emma everywhere and treating her as a prize to be won and saying things to the tune of "I'm glad you're
heartbroken." does not portray a healthy relationship at all and I feel like it's being glorified on TV.
Inconsistency; dropped plot lines; too many secondary characters with no purpose
The horrible part of the fandom. Michael Coleman. Unnecessary characters additions. Characters being thrown in as regulars when they should be tagged as recurring (IMO, Hook, Belle,
Neal- Love them all but they are not the main chars of the show)
The thing a I hate the most of once it the way that they are forcing the relationships in this season. But I didn't like this season at all. I didn't enjoy the plot. It was predictable and boring.
I think hate is a strong word and I can't think of anything I can say I honestly don't like about the show other than the ships thing :P
I wouldn't really say I "hate" anything.
That I have to wait a week to watch the next episode.
Sometimes the lack of Regina .. Or Snow's pureness turned cheesy or clueless
Almost everything at this point Ask me in two more seasons
sometimes it's feel like they are pushing some ships too much to us.
Too many main characters. Snow and charming are too annoying.
The CGI.
Something the show is a little silly and doesn't always make sense (but I usually don't let that bother me and just enjoy the show). It's also difficult to watch when Captain Swan is shoved
in my face (I like Hook, I just don't like what his character has become)
The Hook and Robin thing
UNRESOLVED PLOT LINES/POORLY RESOLVED PLOT LINES THe PlOt hOleS!!!
The hateful fandom, some of the writing, lack of people of color/lgbt representation.
The penis parade.
Ship Wars; I happen to think they are pointless, immature and incredibly hurtful. At the end of the day we all love the show, that should out shine any other differences in a opinion we may
or may not have.
The plot holes and sometimes it is just very lazily written. And the fact that it's always 'keep watching, you'll find out'
It just stopped making sense. Pairings are forced, characters are out of roles, stories are getting bored and overall, hypocrysis is eating my guts.
The blatant heteronormative and how the OUAT abc people have ignore swan queen on purpose while talking about all straight ships by name.
continuity
Sometimes it doesn't feel like it's trying to tell a story at all, or that they have any purpose other than filling episodes and seasons. I thought I was coming onboard for an adult fairytale, and
honestly when I think back to those teaser promos from before the show began, I feel like I was tricked. Sometimes I'm absolutely sure it's just 100% mindless fluff
Fandom wars/hate. And the fact that I was not expecting to get this emotionally invested in a show about fairytales
the penis parade towards Emma mostly, and now towards Regina too with Hood. Boring.
Rushed storylines, predictable plot twists.
I hate some of the fandom, some of the characters, the treatment of consent, the homophobic comments, and a few other things. I wish it would pass the Bechdel test more often and be
more in the spirit of it.
Building up SQ, it can happen and doesn't have to be the biggest deal ever made. Sigh.
the queer-baiting of Mulan and Aurora. That did not make me happy. And the love triangle with Emma was not a good idea.
Plot holes lack of continuity bad characterization occ characters -
hiatus, dropped plotlines....
Henry
The inconsistency and the fact that sometimes they ruin the characters to fit them in certain situations
eee... the repeated plot lines, the lack of canon gay couples...
I hated that love triangle they had for Emma. It was simply dreadful. Well, I was glad Emma didn't like it too. Neal's fate was quite unfortunate though. Never cared much for that guy but he

still didn't deserve death. He had a good heart. At least he died a hero, giving his life for his father...
unnecessary love interests
Predictable character arcs, big reveals lacking a big punch, sexism and racism that likes to creep in, the bland writing some of the male characters can get sometimes(Neal wasn't just
annoying, he was boring and they should have developed him more before they killed him off). Certain nods to other stories the writers want to do are fine, but starting a plot and no
finishing it is a big no for me. Also, sometimes I swear they write certain things just for the drama of it without thinking about how that would affect their characters.
Illogical plotlines, out of character behaviour, weak episode arcs
The forced relationships. Jesus Christ. If they didn't feel so rushed, and formed organically, I could possibly get on bored. Possibly. The writing is god awful these days too. If it's not
something rushed (Robin,) then it's something that takes forever (neverland.)
plot holes, character core personalities being changed
The inconsistencies in storytelling, the treatment of Regina, the whole "birth vs. adopted" family issue... Among other things, but those are the main ones.
The way they still hurt Regina and how Emma is sometime a kind of nut. Haha no there's nothing I guess.
Their total lack of continuity
Everything apart from Regina Mills and SQ.
I don't hate anything per se, but Hook and Robin Hood piss me right off! I find them unnecessary and forced.
some of the writing and snow.
Some of the plot decisions, like constant curses, and the henrys ever growing family, and Reginas struggle for redemption.
The way they make Snow so sanctimonious and how charming has raised his hands to Regina more than a few times. The whole good always wins thing gets me too. Life is not like that.
The way they have suggest things, ( relationships & story parts.).
the huge amount of different ships and the love triangle!!!
Adam and Eddie make me feel uneasy about what they're gonna do. I think they can ruin everything and be clumsy enough to not notice it until it's too late. And I hate they ignore SQ as a
valid ship. I think they're making a mistake and fueling hate themselves by doing so.
When some characters seem to stop exist and never mentioned again e.g. Sidney. When they give a lot of attention to either Hook or Robin Hood which has been the case in season 3B
I hate thay in S1 we had great, steong independent women (even Snow) then in S2 Snow gets annoyongly obsessed with Charming, Emma gets all whiney about stupid Neal, and Regina
is left in the dust and is treated unfairly in comparison to the other bad guy Rumple. SL was all over the place in S2...too many new characters that have not had any Backstory
the need to change characters and their personalities to please an idiotic idea that true love only exist in heterosexual couples!
Sometimes they throw too many characters at us, and don't explore others, so end up being superficial. Also, I'm not happy about Swan Queen not being canon yet! hahaha
The denigration of the adoptive relationship, the lip-service paid to gay pairings with no real intent.
That i have to wait a whole week for the episodes.
I try not to allow external influences to bring me to a point of "hating" anything. When OUAT disappoints me, and it often does, I remind myself that I alone am the creator of my own life. I
alone am responsible for my happiness, and I am glad to be reminded to focus on that fact.
How they avoid lgbt community, constant background stories of side characters,
All the men thrown at Emma and Regina just "cause." Emma and Regina have more chemistry together than all the people they have been with, so if they throw men at them sparks best
ne flying or else it seems forced to the max!"
it's not really what I hate about a show, but I strongly dislike the inconstance of writers and creators of the show - sometimes I feel they have no idea what to do next and push something
bad just to fill the show with unnecessary characters and problems
Henry and neal (but he is dead so i'm happy ^^) lol
ooc moments, cgi, weird ass plots that make no sense
The writing frequently doesn't serve or support the actors or overall story
The absolutely unnecessary addition of a few so-called 'regular' casts taking up screen time that should not be afforded to them in the first place... That and the appalling storyline the
show has taken; the irony...
The fans on our side and other ships, the ship wars.
The occasional inconsistencies.
...
That we have to wait all week for next episode! :D
Lack of representation (POC and LGBTQA), inconsistencies, poor character development, rushed storylines, and abandoned storylines/characters.
The lost potential mostly. That is the main problem I have. The forced relationships, and the heteronormative way it is dealt with. I wish for more variety. The expected twists and plots, I
like to be kept on my toes. The OOCness that happens at times.
How the SWEN is treated. The promotion and well sometimes even the writing.
Nothing really.
This whole Regina/Robin thing is so quick and unrealistic. I don't find Hook charming at all, Mary Margaret and David's relationship is too mushy and soppy for my liking. I don't hate
anything, they just annoy me slightly.
The lack of LGBT representation, lack of people of color. Sometimes they have a really interesting new interpretation of fairy tales and characters and sometimes they are lazy and do not.
(dwarves, fairies for the most part). Also some of the storylines are contrived and dont make much sense, (Tamara and Greg are a prime example - like how did they hook up with Peter

Pan, really.. And how exactly did the Darling brothers get to Storybrooke and the adoption agency.) Constant heterosexism. The first season almost every episode was a "true love" story
and none were LGB focused. And there is no representation of Transgendered individuals.
Robin Hood and Hook, for reasons ;)
I do not like that the official 'once upon a time' does not recognize the swan queen fandom in polls and in how we contribute a great deal to the ratings.
How they have brought down the inicial strong female characters and stripping them of their esence. The misogyny and heteropatriarchal tone they give it all the time.
The fact they don't have more diversity on the show, they don't have any People of color in the main characters, the don't have lgbt characters and for someone in the lgbt comunity i
reckon this show about fairy tales is important for everyone and that include gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people,
Some stories seem a little thrown together last minute at some points. I dislike the way OUAT ignores SQ fandom. It's sad.
hypocisy of pushing the het ships so hard while ignoring the most obvious one
Boy are they bad at rounding out male characters.
- Plot holes, plot holes, plot holes (it's lost all over again. I fear we might not get proper closure and/or explanation)! - (too) fast-paced ... sometimes to the point where certain storylines are
rushed and characters are "changing" way too fast. - recently: weird, unrelistic, rushed LIs everywhere.
The ship wars. Mostly the OQ-CS against SQ wars. Nothing about the series in particular.
That it never develops story lines in detail. That it skips over important character discussions & interactions, eg Belle & Regina, Emma & snow, Gipetto & August. I wanna see that stuff!!
Inconsistency in plot/ rules of mahic and realms. I write, and it's just sloppy not to keep these things straight when your entire job is to put out a quality piece of fiction.
The writing is painful at times, the whole Outlaw Queen thing is a load of bullshit.
Heteronormativity and racism.
misogynistic comments, the fact that no prince/nice love interest/or non-evil male character can stay alive on the show besides Charming
LOVE TRIANGLES. And, the fact that there are no fairytales anymore like there used to be in season 1. Now it's just dRAMA and ugh, it annoys me so much.
The constant repeating of the same plot line. Curses, memory loss and so on. We've seen this now, we know A&E can do better than this, so just do it already!! And the forced ships they
are shoving down our throats at the moment.
Hook's character has been reduced to a lovesick pup who follows Emma around, the penis parade. Originally, the way Snow and Charming used to think Emma was Henry's mother in the
early series's and disrespected Regina's rights. Also, the way they have episodes focused around characters that nobody cares about.
Lack of LGBTQ representation, the fact that they are focusing way too much on love interests in this season and that I can't get around to understand that damn family tree.
Sometimes it feels like they have too much on their plates, and they sometimes just abandon some stories.
The emphasis on male characters and their misuse of power over the females.
PENIS PARADE
that they will not acknowledge that there is chemistry between emma and regina
The writing of some characters (Hook, Belle), the PR.
The repetitive plots, the predictability, the constant fairytale drama instead of character and relationship building and development, the lack of queer representation and the awful way
people of colour are treated. The way love is treated like a pre-destined be all and end all rather than something that's honest and organic.
The lack of focus on the relationship development between characters, the dropped story threads/characters (they try to do too much all at once, and it *shows*) and the fact that everyone
is related.
The changing of Regina's personality for Robin
Racism, Sexism (wasn't this about to be about women.) Daddy Issues, poor plot, poor writing, the actors/actresses being inconsiderate of others. Most of all, the opportunity they have
missed by not including initially an asexual, couple or pair, a homosexual pair, and setting Philip, Mulan and Auroa as a polygamous relationship. There isn't enough Media out there for
these three things to remove stigma.
Heterosexism & Racism particularly.
Its continuity issues. There are times where I think the writers don't remember what was shown on the previous episodes.
That Regina gave Hood her heart to watch as that would never actually happen!! And that the creators don't really recognise us Swan Queen shippers...
It's incessant desire to push action when it really needs to step back and do a few episodes in which less happens but more character development occurs. The constant plot holes. The
introduction of characters just to be used as a plot point with little further embellishment (e.g. I really want to see the Blue Fairy's back story). The way that Hook changed from an
interesting character in Season 2 to one of my least favourite in Season 3, purely as a result of his characterization.
Heteronormativity, lack of POCs, seemingly (recent) horrible writing. And some of the views of the fandom.
Snow White being the way she is and of course Swanqueen not being canon
It's kind of redundant. Every character has some kind of abandonment issue. If there's a plot whole or something, they just use another curse to solve it. They make adoption look like a
bad thing. The CGI is horrible.
that won't give us swan-mills, and all those losers they throw at them even though don't even like them but have act like they do.
The whitewashing of all of the characters, the sometimes stupid character choices (Regina giving her heart to someone she just met.!), Hook.
Queerbaiting, the ugly side of the fandom, the changes in the personalities in the characers (for example Archie) and the fact that it seems the writers think they can't use logic in their
writing. Example of this last one is that everybody forgets what Hook has done to Belle. I just hate that Snowing has become boring and that 'true love' means we can't question their
relationship because it's opbiously a healthy one (anybdy remember Charming lying about a magical sword, endangering Snow's life.) So my main problem is the lack of logic in the plot
and the characters themselves.
Basicly captain swan, everyone judging Regina, and the writers when they insist it's unintentional

The push towards putting women with 'protective men'
Sometimes it is very obvious that a blue screen is being used but whatever. The number of sets they would need in order to get the look and feel right, would be massively expensive. I just
hope it doesn't become like 'V'... the use of blue screens on that show is painfully obvious :S
Nothing really, except that SQ isn't canon yet but I'm willing to wait for the well done slow burn.
The recent inconsistance in story telling for the sake of hetero ships. I feel like they're weakening our lady leads just to get them into relationships with men we don't really care about.
Half assed writing. Cliched writing. Predictable writing.
Misogynistic stuff Plotholes
The whole happy endings aren't always what you expect but hey here's your designated soulmate thing that they have going.
The show is about magic and all that is impossible, yet they fear straying from the norm and embracing a pairing that are so obviously meant to be together. That'll always bug me.
bad writing (occasionally) overused plot twists eg abandonment forcing ships
Plot holes, poor world building, macguffins galore, lack of character development, poor handling of problematic issues (rape, abuse, others), practically nonexistent diversity, lazy fairy tale
retellings especially after S1- e.g. Ariel, Rapunzel. Everything about how they handle Belle . Touting of a relationship as unhealthy as Rumbelle as True Love. Failure to narratively call out
or punish Rumple for his culpability, particularly in comparison to Regina, who is often punished and consistently questioned as Henry's rightful mother. Pain porn treatment of Regina.
Female backstories revolving entirely around men. And so much more...
The way the writers treat the swan queen fandom
Hook.
The portrayal of Hook, the anti-adoption message, the way they ruin character potential. And if they're queer baiting, then that too.
The sexism, racism, poor writing, the way everyone hates Regina, how Regina can never be happy, how fans bend over backwards to excuse Rumple's behavior and want to crucify
Regina no matter how she's changed, the smug sanctimoniousness of the "good" characters, the unending parade of bland and offensive male love interests for Emma and Regina...
Honestly, I hate almost everything about the show that isn't Swan Queen or Regina-related.
Often poor writing. Predictability. Preferable treatment of certain characters over others Often times the wider fandom. It can be incredibly aggressive and offensive. Outlaw Queen.
Just...no...
Plot Holes Everyone is related The anti adoption theme Regina's never-ending pain
Certain ships.
It takes forever for anything to happen. Ex: They spent what, 10 episodes in Neverland trying to save Henry. Hello, it's an island, there is only so many places he could be.
captain hooks portrayal , hes the worst hook ever the penis parade and beards and trying to make emma swan into emma charming in second season
Bad CGI, inconsistent writing, lack of proper character development. anti-adoption themes.
mess up family tree. I wish Emma is not Snow's daughter so nobody can bring up about incest.
Snow white
Rushed "love stories". I was totally on board with OQ and CS until they actually happened with no real development at all. Even a one night stand has more build up than those pairings
actually had.
At the moment Robin Hood.
The ship wars and the writers' initial hostility toward SWEN. Also the weird plot holes and skipping on character development.
Hook.
Introduction of characters for one episode, then never heard of again (Cinderella..). All the tip-toeing around SwanQueen topic. Other shippers! CaptainSwan & OutlawQueen, haha.
Mostly because I don't like Hook's storyline and I just don't like Robin Hood. I think Sean isn't good enough as an actor to face Lana Parrilla.
Snow White. She is just... I can't stand her.
When in season 2 they decided to concentrate on Henry, relegate the women to secondary roles and made men the most important thing on the show.
The writers seem to fall short on writing dialogue.
The Writers (Adam and Eddy)
My number one pet peeve is something they seem to be fixing, which his creating a lot of emotional tension and never cashing in on it. We seem to be getting episodes based on emotions
and choices are having emotional consequences that are being dealt with, so thumbs up. Second biggest pet peeve is that they seem to fumble the storylines in the middle of the seasons
(or half seasons now). Everything is chugging along great, and then suddenly comes to a grinding halt so we can have some character centric episode that doesn't really advance the plot
at all. That's frustrating.
i don't like how hook is considered romantic when all he ever did was being creepy. (that doesn't have anything to do with the show)
I wouldn't say I "hate" anything, but as I mentioned, just that it's become more about ships lately is a bit annoying but I still love the show.
Everything but Regina. Actually though, I think the writing is both sloppy and lazy. I think the show is terribly wasteful and misses opportunities for depth of both plot and character. It's a
real shame. They have talent and money and time.
Hook and his rapist jokes and the misogyny. The double standards between the redemption of male vs female vilians.
They keep throwing men at Emma and Regina!
Refer to my answer to question 23.

Interesting question, but I have to say the hate in the fandom. Like when people attacks the writers and actors and stuff. Just, lean back and enjoy the show. If sq isn't endgame, then rage
all you want, but it isn't over until it's over
The heteronormativity and the lack of poc, and the emphasis on blood relatives over found family or surrogate family. While the show is great about putting familial love on part with
romantic love (like having the true love's kiss to break the curse be between Emma and Henry), the romantic love always seems to be between a man and a woman. The one instance we
got of a canonically queer character was brief and unrequited. In addition the show has been a little bad about pushing blood relatives over adoptive families, and it's bothered me a bit.
The biggest thing that gets to me is probably the treatment of poc, particularly black characters. Regina is currently the only poc regular on the show, and so far, with the exception of
Rapunzel (whose plot was brief and lackluster) and Sidney (who just sort of...disappeared) every black character whose appeared on screen has died.
Mary Margaret and David storylines in Storybrooke, not a lot of Ruby/Red storylines these days, male love interests just thrown at Regina or Emma.
Hate is a strong word. Plot holes, I don't like plot holes in general.
I hate that even though they don't want to conform to the cliche fairy tales they are finding other ways to be cliche especially with love interests. There have been so many fantastic
opportunities for the show to go in a really interesting direction (neverland, Oz) but have just fallen flat.
The CGI (number1 most hated thing) Snow and Charming The dwarves The Blue Fairy Dr. Whale Snow and Charming doing stupid things Sometimes Henry
Snowing. Not the ship, but they just keep getting dumber & naiveier(I don't care that it's not a word).
Too many dudes. Season 1 was so great when it seemed like they focused on the women more. Too many background characters getting backstories no one cares about (archie, whale,
hook, etc) while truly interesting characters (Regina, Cora, Emma, Zelena) have to wait half a season after they're introduced to be given backstory. So many beards, so much
heteronormativity. So many missed opportunities (why kill off Jack... Mulan backstory... Malefiscent... And everything would've been so much better if Milah ran off to BE a pirate instead of
to fuck a pirate and she was the one strutting around minus a hand flirting with Emma and trying to kill Rumple). Plot holes and deus ex machina and retconning, oh my! I just... ugh, this
show has such a great premise and such great actors but sometimes has the shittiest writing.
The way the want to sell us outlaw queen and that stop show us Mulan story
I want to see more of Tinkerbell. I also hate how they introduce random crap into the story and don't explain the significance or even reference it later apart from that one scene.
They usually have more characters and storylines than can be resolved easily, or kept running coherently. Also, season 2 was DUDES DUDES DUDES dudes, no thanks.
How rushed everything is in 3B and the fakeness of OQ and SQ. Ugh.
The sudden explosion of characters with each new arc, instead of working on previously mentioned characters. For example, Ashley Boyd and Sean; they disappeared after their episode,
never to be seen again. Maybe some more backstory on Granny, seeing as she's kickass and all.
That sometimes, too many characters are introduced at once. That there's not enough SwanQueen scenes.
The OOC-ness and how the Hook/Emma and Regina/Robin pairings seem so forced. They might be easier to handle if they were more natural (you know, like some other relationships
that are not yet canon *coughcough*)
Plot hole and lack of continuity.
Character Developed on the show has to be improved. It seems like sometimes major events happen on the show and the characters barely have time to react before another major
trauma happens.
That SwanQueen isn't canon yet
That a pirate who treats women like whores is suddenly a good guy AFTER he helped kidnapping Regina and not helping her out of the situation.
The constant push of Emma and Regina towards love interests that make no sense and have no development. Not to mention that these guys do/say offensive and abusive things and
romanticize it.
How it fucks me up. Seriously, kinda don't enjoy how everyone is related. That's all.
I dont hate anything. I just really hope swan queen has a chance.
Sometimes the 180 characterization bothers me. THe fandom also bugs me sometimes.
The writing. The fan pandering eg Penis Parade. The bad CGI. The PR department.
plot holes, ship wars
plotholes
ROBIN HOOD.
More recently the 'Penis Parade' and Captain Hook. Sometimes the writing infuriates me, but then I can go on tumblr and the Swen fandom can cheer me up.
- Lack of plot continually - The penis parade/ throwing men at main characters just because - No real rules of magic - Too many characters who stories get long - ADAM AND EDDIE
BEING BOTH HEAD PRODUCERS AND WRITERS= 99% of problem
I hate pretty much everything about this show now. The plot holes. The men and more men being added and thrown at the leads. The garbage writing and how it has basically turned into
a fan-service nightmare.
Just not a huge fan of the writing in general. It can be a bit of a cheese fest.
The writing!! Too many plot holes and the fact that EVERYONE has to be related in some way or has to have relations to everyone! It's insane and messy. It's hard to keep up. Lately I feel
like the writers have been lacking. Season one was beyond flawless, season two was slow but okay, didn't care for season three and disappointed with season four. I also hate how they're
basically forcing us to ship Emma and Hook and Regina and Robin.
That regina gave her heart to robin
sloppy writing, plotholes, not utilizing main character enough
When it doesn't make sense (writing-wise)
Inconsistency. Inability to take a stance on important issues, promotion of unhealthy relationships and unhealthy dynamics.
The old fashion fairytale mentality of women are defined by the men who save them. The damsel in distress idea.

Gaping plot holes, inconsistent facts conveyed through a shifting timeline, GRUMPY
outlaw don't make sense to me .
writing and directing choices for the masses rather than furthering the stories and the strengths of their main characters
Needs more LGBT characters
How they push this new characters and love interests out of nowhere and force them upon other really developed ones. That enervates me to no end.
They have trouble balancing their story arcs. Often stretching things out too long.
Nothing really.
Lack of a good strong gay pairing
How force they are trying for us to but Hook redemption and every way out him am Emma and the waste potential of lots of characters.
The blatant queer-baiting.
All the anti adoption
The shipping done by the show. Queerbaiting. Seriously, they left Mulan, their canonically gay character up to some interpretation. Keep in mind that this is the same network that aired
Glee. It is not ridiculous to expect for them to make it abundantly clear that Mulan was in love with Aurora. It is also not ridiculous to want to see some LBGTQ fairytales. And the writers
admit to doing this sometimes.
It's only on once a week
Heteronormativity, plot holes, subpar acting by most, dropping of plotlines
The forced relationship between Captain Hook and Emma, and how black and white the Snowing couple sees things.
The writing since Season 2. Nuff said.
That swan queen isn't canon.
Blatant approval of Stockholm syndrome relationships and the romanticizing of creepy misogynist stuff.
The fact that everyone is so hateful toward Regina when she's already had a hard life already. I don't honestly believe they'd rather be in the damn jungle hunting and gathering as
opposed to sitting and reading and eating burgers and hot cocoa. And the relationships with Regina and Robin and Emma and Hook. There's been no build up. Hook is a pompous player
who is uncomfortably inappropriate. Robin and Regina have literally had like 6 conversations and now she 'loves him' b/c of a tattoo a fairy told her about like 40+ years ago. Shouldn't he
be dead anyway. I don't trust him and there's no real sustenance to their relationship it just appeared out of no where.
The lazy writing we sometimes see. The forced 'romance' of CS & OQ. The fact Hook is in nearly every scene when he has no purpose to be.
I'm rather unhappy with the writing as of late. Season 3 is marginally better than season 2, which was mostly a train wreck. I'm frustrated by the lack of continuity in some places, the lack
of consistent characterization, the glorification of Snowing (which has SO many problems) and of Hook and Rumple. If the show would actually take any of these discussions seriously, it
would be a much better and more compelling/unique narrative. Right now it's turning out to be a rehash of the same old, same old.
-logic inconsistencies -SQ hate -no canon gay couples
Hook and forced couples
their need to sometimes be like evryone else you have what might be the best love story of the decade dont screw it up
I hate how Regina & Emma are acting totally out of character because they're being forced to be with two men & that they haven't shown Henry recently. Henry is a part of OUAT as well
and a part of the Mills-Swan Family last time I checked.
...not gonna lie, The fandom gets uglier than glee did sometimes, but in the actual show, there is a lack of continuity at times and it does feel like they have moments of "Dude you know
what would awesome!." too many secondary characters are introduced and the fact that just about everyone is somehow related strains credulity.
The way Hook's character is been writing!!
I think it loses its focus sometimes. There are definite plot holes and the narrative seems to wander. I don't mind the occasional "filler" episodes and it doesn't bother me that some
characters aren't seen or mentioned again, that is just a reality of having an enormous cast. I think sometimes they try to do too much, and try to get too tricky with the twists. I think they
could keep things a bit more simple and the audience will be content. If most people can't even pick up on SQ, I don't think it will take much effort to shock them.
Characters who hurt characters I like and when characters do something I see as out of character.
Queer Baiting. Adam in general.
It can be so so good, then so so bad. Some of the dialogue is cringeworthy (fortunately for the writers they have great actors who can own it) as is the CGI.
Sometimes it's very predictable. I hate that Regina always gets the metaphorical shaft and all the while Emma seems completely infallible. Also... Snowing drives me crazy.
HETERONORMATIVE BULLSHIT
I hate the lack of representation of queer, minority characters who don't die and aren't evil, the anti-adoption stance and the fact that the narrative so closely supports only the good
characters while damning the "evil" characters. I hate that Snow isn't made to be more "grey" and I despise the rape jokes.
Queerbaiting
CS,OQ, love triangles
the writers. Adam.
All the men that chase after Emma
Inconsistent story telling, and plot holes. too many bad guys, need sometime to decompress.
They repeat the theme of undoing events and people losing their memories way too much.
TIMING IS TERRIBLE. Things either last too long or are too short. For example, Neverland was waaaaaay too long, in my opinion, but Emma & Henry without memories in New York was

too short! Not sure what they're trying to accomplish. Also, too many random, veering storylines and characters!
All the cheap male love interests they keep throwing at Emma and Regina.
Anything not Regina related.
Penis Parade.
Freaking inconsistent characterizations of characters, plot holes, rush development of relationships, continuity issues
The queer baiting, but I guess they kinda have to, if not it would give it away
That there are not really any gay characters.
That there is such hate between shippers/fans of the show.
That they are always on a run, and rush a lot of things without giving it proper background. they killed off Cora to change the plot to Neverland and that was the first time I felt that they lost
a lot of potential by killing that story line. Also, if they want to give Emma and Regina love interest, fine, but do them correctly, make it slow burn please. Don't change my characters just to
fit a Love interest.
The love triangle and the forced relationships (pixie dust, pirates ;))
I don't really hate anything. I'm certainly not fond of Outlaw Queen. I can only hope that it's just a temporary thing.
Lack of continuity. How they waste amazing characters like Ruby and Jeferson. Captain Swan Outlaw Queen Hook the indiscriminate use of paralles. There are too many. the ship wars.
Not revisiting secondary characters was quite a frustration.
Why the fuck isn't Mulan and Aurora canon. How did Phillip get back. Once writers are very inconsistent with their storyline and kind of just do everything in their power to make it a
mediocre show when they could be much more.
Hate is a little strong but I strongly dislike the fact that they are so many characters. The original cast is interesting enough for years of storytelling, no need to introduce so many one-off
characters. The writing is inconsistent. Sometimes characters conveniently forget about something or do something otherwise OOC because plot! I just wish it had better continuity and
maybe some more character-based drama than so many "look another plot twist" moments. On that note, please stop making everyone related, it's creepy.
the love triangle, the plot holes (like tamara greg and their purpose...)
the growing misogyny, the beards (Hook, Neal and Hood, terrible characters) and the lack of PoC
the lack of consistency particularly with Henry's underdevelopment
That regina and emma are not together.. Like come on. Hook is a dark haired villian that is bitter about his true love dying and chooses revenge and becomes a piarate. Regina is a ALSO
A DARK HAIRED VILLAN WHO IS BITTER ABOUT HER TRUE LOVE DYING SO SHE CHOOSES EVIL/REVENGE Robin hood is a blonde theif with a son EMMA WAS A THEIF AND
IS BLONDE WITH A SON. Need i say more.
The lack of representation of different races and the lack of LGBTA etc. charatcers. They are few and far between for the different races and even then they end up being written out of the
show or dying. There's only one character (Mulan) whom we even assume to be part of the LGBTA but even then it's assumed.
The addition of new characters when they haven't fully explored the potential of their current ones
Almost everything but Swan Queen
It can be predictible and repetitive
It's "unintentional moments"
Right now I'm kind of just in disbelief about Regina giving her heart to Robin...way out of character, not to beat a dead horse...but I hope it was a decoy or she has something planned or
whatever.
Pretty much everything now, apart from the Swan Mills family and Meghan Ory's face.
Hook
The forced heterosexual love interests and the occasionally dumb/boring episode plots
"Lol straight ships, adoptions dont matter, whats the law.. legal stuff..... nahhh regina is mean lol"
The major plot holes and writing characters OOC.
heteronormativity, misogyny ect. ect.
The lack of POC and/or queer characters. The rushed, OOC "development" of the OQ and CS relationships. It's actually horrifying at times. Seeing Hook reduced to a pining puppy while
Regina supposedly finds Hood's stalker-ish tendencies attractive...ugh. So many problems. The lack of representation is really cutting, though. It's almost like you can't have a happy
ending unless you are white and straight. Also, I don't like how stupid they seem to force the characters to be in order for the plot to work. Snow was a bandit for years and was naturally
distrustful of strangers. How am I supposed to believe that she let Zelena so close to her baby so quickly. I also don't like the hateful members of the fandom or being bullied for what I
believe in.
The newer episodes. Pretty much. I don't think there is anything specific that I hate anyways. (Other than Hook but that's more irrational than anything else)
The plot.
The writing. It's gotten pretty bad lately. I despise Outlaw Queen and Captain Swan. The writing for both is terrible. Hook is a creepy perverted stalker who just wants to get in bed with
Emma and Robin is just a male version of Emma. The only thing different about Robin is that he is as shady as fuck.
that if they go with outlaw queen it is a forced and rushed story line , also how hook fell for emma in a matter of 3 minutes , and ouat's bias promo team.
So many inconsistencies, lack of continuity, too many characters, forgotten plots, poorly written love stories (all of them).
Snow's dumbness, Charming's 'idiotness', how they ruined Hook's character reducing him to nothing more than a lovesick puppy always running around Emma, the writers need to listen
to their fans more, it would be nice to have more episodes where the characters talk about their feelings or just interact together without apocalypses and stuff.
the fact that swen isn't canon and the theme of abandonment, it's getting old

The pace is too fast. No one gets to react to anything. We have to be told how people feel not see it because there just isn't enough time to feel.
Sexism of some characters, and the entire queer baiting with Mulan and Aurora.
There is some awful acting; shitty stories, and the way the producers try to force relationships with zero chemistry between the actors.
Its lack of consideration for happy endings to LGBT characters.
The constant men being thrown at Emma and Regina.
There are too many things to list (I'm sure you're going to get that alot!) - lack of continuity in the storyline - OOC choices and actions without any explanation -backstory episodes for minor
characters that we may never even see again when there is so much development lacking in the main characters -there is zero realistic processing of events. Major things happen and are
then never talked about again. - sometimes the writing is cringeworthy
The queerbaiting.
Currently how fast Outlaw Queen is "happening"
Sometimes the fandom
- Huge plot holes in the story telling - not great writing at times - too many extra characters brought into the show - not enough time spent on main characters - The character Hook too
involved in season 3B
Nothing I think it's perfect! All the things happens for a reason!
Not a diversity of characters and representation.
The adding of characters and not using them. The lack of ruby so Meagan leaving. Their tendency to kill or make evil all non Caucasian characters except Mulan and now rapunzel. The
queer baiting if they don't acknowledge it. The poor plot points like curse oh no more curse/ using magic instead of good writing at times. The penis parade... The fandom always being at
each other's throats and harassing the cast makes me sad. Just annoy them with positive things!
The predictable twists... Everything except for the swan-mills family!
There aren't enough beautiful, sweet moments between Regina and Henry. Even if it's just a flashback because I find it hard to believe it was ALL bad. And I'm hoping for more in the
future.
Robin Hood character, actor (sorry, I can't stand him, pretty bad for an actress like Lana) and story. Hook as a "hero" (he's not) and stalker. Too much heterosexism, forced relationships,
incomplete stories, too many characters for nothing, lack of Emma story in the past, males and just males for every woman...
that it has moved away from the fairytale aspect of the show and is more about people finding their "true love" and just a giant fight about who is the parents of henry and just the fact that
there seems to be o order in the writing at all
Outlaw Queen, Captain Swan, Regina not being happy, Henry not loving Regina/treating her as a villan, Emma and Regina not falling in love and being together!
Snow White!
Very cheesy writing
the occasionally haphazard approach to magic
So many things. They often glorify their anti-villains and try to make us forget they've done bad things or say "oh look how cool this person is" (yeah, I know they're cool but they've still
killed people we really should not be forgetting this). They say they're a feminist show and they do have many excellent female characters but they don't seem all that interested in
exploring them sometimes, focusing on guys and I really don't MIND spending SOME time on guys but they really shouldn't be the focus. The way they have not shown ANY flashbacks for
Emma's life EXCEPT WHEN IT WAS ABOUT NEAL AND AUGUST. Dudes, Emma is your MAIN CHARACTER, HOW have you not delved as deep into her as, again, your anti-villains,
your clean-cut heroes, your villain-villains, hell, there are side characters who we know more about than Emma that is fucking ridiculous. I know she's not a fairytale character but she is
still the protagonist and the hero, her feelings and her character really should be emphasized more. I hate making Emma a prop that only exists to validate other characters (though I think
this is mostly a problem with fans who ship Emma with their favorite characters, not necessarily the writers). I hate that their writing has glaring inconsistencies or that they either seem to
move too fast through the drama and not explore any emotions, or so painfully slow through the emotions that we end up just not caring.
Everything it has turned out to be.
I really have nothing against it, except hook & hood. and that the writers seem to hate the swen fandom.
The disrespectful way they treat adoptions, POC, and whitewash serious issues such as abuse.
How little value they give to family if they are not blood related. The insistence in that you can only be happy if you are with someone/find your True Love. They keep throwing penises at
Emma and Regina. How they destroyed Hooks character and transformed him in just a puppy behind Emma, I mean, guys...he was for like 300 years looking for revenge and mourning
his TL, and in a week he decided that he could just let revenge go and forget everything about Milah and fall in love with another girl...not realistic at all.
What's with the lack of canon gay characters. And does it look a bit whitewashed in here.
I sometimes go on about things I hate about OuaT, but in all honesty there's really nothing I hate about it. It can be frustrating quite often, but can't we all. It's changed my life in so many
ways.. hard to hate something that's been so life-changing.
The poor writing, the inconsistency, the too many characters they make us fall in love with to never show them anymore (Kathryn! Jefferson! RUBY!), the fact that they sacrifice
characterization in order to develop lame storylines that have nothing to do with the show (the Greg/Tamara storyline... What the hell was that.)...
I hate many things about Ouat. But recently I feel like the writing has gotten so bad(save for a few episodes). This show just has so much potential to be amazing! But due to the bad
writing, missed opportunities, and plot holes this show just doesn't live up to what it could possibly be. I also hate captain swan!!!! I honestly don't think I've ever disliked a canon ship so
badly. I also hate how mean this fandom can be sometimes! This is probably one of the meanest fandom and being part of swen just makes all of the bullying so much worse.
Pretty much most characters, the writers and their bullshit, majority of the cast is annoying too
Captain Swan and Outlaw Queen and the fact that they killed Neal. Completely unnecessary actions and unnecesary ships when it comes to CS/OQ. They only ruin the characters and
steal screen time from others such as Belle. And they killed Neal so they can slot in RH. Not ok
Heteromormativity.
That there are so many loose ends with a lot of characters that they could have taken the time to develop

The writers giving shitty plots or trying to force something
OOC writings that shouldn't be.
The blatant pushing of male love interests on the female characters, as well as the writers insinuating that it is okay for a man to harass a woman.
I hate the love triangles. They take away from other scenes that could be shown with characters on the show to further their development. The 'true love' aspect of the show is beginning to
get old. In real life, a person can have more than one love of their life. They make it sound like if you don't hook up with your 'true love' then lives are ruined, and you will never have
anyone else to love. I think that sends a wrong message.
I hate how they walk all over adoption. I hate how characters seem to just disappear, and new ones just show up. I hate how they handled Mulan's character. I hate how convoluted and
complicated the family tree is, and I hate the fact that Hook and Hood are being pushed in our faces.
The whole "homosexual relationship has to be done right" thing. Like they messed that up big time with Mulan. JUST LET EMMA AND REGINA HAVE HOT LADY SEX AND ILL BE
HAPPY.
The plot gets in the way of developing the relationships between the characters. There's a ton of stuff happening in every episode in order to keep everyone interested, and then there's
flashbacks on top of that. This leaves little to no time for the characters to just talk about what's happening and how they're feeling and to just have a conversation like normal human
beings. A lot of things never get talked about: Regina having to kill zombie!Daniel, Emma killing Neal, Regina killing Graham, Regina being tortured, Emma and Regina's magical
connection, etc. The list goes on and on. And on that note, the show hints at some pretty dark, fucked up shit that is never addressed properly because it's a family show, yet it is still
implied in order to draw in a more mature audience. Suicide, rape, torture, abuse, addiction, stuff like that. The show treats such themes in such an offhanded way, and then when the
writers are confronted about it they're like "That didn't actually happen" (because you didn't actually see it happening on the screen), or "We didn't mean for people to interpret it that way."
We had to wait over 2 seasons to find out that Regina wasn't actually raped by King Leopold while she was married to him, because until that point everyone had just assumed that's what
happened because it explains her descent into darkness.
The racism and sexism
So many plot holes. Not focusing the storytelling on the relationships between the core cast as much as they should. They tend to tell more than they show, which bothers me as a
writer/English Major more than it probably should. I wish they had more of a diverse castPOC, LGBT characters, etc...The way they make everyone related to the same few characters.
Not developing and giving more of a storyline to characters that could be very interesting, like Belle. I wish they'd kept Hook an intriguing character independent of Emma, so he'd have
more of a story than just being her love interest. I wish the writing was less ambiguous. I have a degree in English and love themes and interpreting stories, and I know every individual has
their own interpretation no matter what, but sometimes you need to give the audience some hints at what you're doing in the story. It feels like they try to please everyone and all aspects
of the fandom, which to me hurts the story because there is no clear direction from the text. I feel it's why the fandom is so polarized and why, for the most part, there is rarely a clear way
of interpreting the scene and everyone has a point. Reading the arguments about Regina giving Robin Hood her heart, I was so confused about what to think, because I could see how
one person thought it made sense, while someone else thought it was OOC. That was a scene where it should have been clear whether it was supposed to feel odd or not. Same honestly
goes for Robin Hood as a whole. Being suspicious of him can make sense, just as thinking it's just lazy writing and he's a good guy makes sense. I don't want the text to tell me exactly
what to think (Because I want some freedom there) but I do want it to guide my interpretation to some degree. I shouldn't be questioning whether or not I should be questioning something.
They should stop worrying so much about the CGI and develop better story lines
The heterocentrism that runs rampant, the constant and increasingly overbearing examples of parental neglect (there are other backstories. really. they exist), and the lack of POC
main/recurring characters.
Robin Hood. I can't stand to see his face (and not b/c of his appearance either). Hook. Neal. Snow. The lack of character consistency and mega-plot holes....pretty much everything.
The forced ships like oq and CS, LI hook, OOC writing, filler eps, old characters the go away like Kath or mal or ruby, snow is awful, charming lord get a story, too many main characters,
the tell not showing, all plot, A&E playing the fans the list goes on and on
Bad writing. There are more plot holes than coherent story lines, the discrimination against minorities. Even if as the writers say that was never the message they wanted to transmit.
That Regina is so OOC in it's not easy being green
Hook and Hood.
I hate that it's fandom can be outright homophobic, and I hate that it sometimes feels like the Swan Queen fandom is just going to continually be strung along until the very end.
HOW NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAS CONSEQUENCES. They bring up so many things for like one episode and then forget all about it.
heteronormativity and lack of jefferson
how they never address any problems in their writing, the inconsistency of the writing, the problematic storylines that are never addressed and completely disrespectful, heteronormativity
The inconsistencies. I'm sure I don't have to go into too much detail there.
The deterioration of character development, the loss of the "Season 1 feel", Captain Swan, weak story arcs, GRAHAMS DEATH, and fans thinking it's okay to attack the writers and actors.
Oh god. So much. The expository dialogue. The melodramatic soap-opera feeling of it all. The "plot twists" that are stupidly predictable and almost always about one character being
related to another. The lovey-dovey hetero "Twu Luv" bullshit they talk about constantly.
The treatment of people of colour, and the nonexistence of same sex couples with happy endings. Their treatment of adoption has been terrible as well, especially the way Emma is now
regarded to be the primary parent and Regina has to beg for scraps. Also the way they are forcing this whole Hook thing onto Emma and portraying him as a pushy stalker who doesn't
take no for an answer. It's very disturbing to see that and has some really negative rape culture overtones that they appear to be supporting.
Lack of continuity. Pointless side stories. Misogyny. Snowing's privilege.
(How do I loathe thee. Let me count the ways....) In other words; it would be a shorter list to write what I do not hate.
The writing, forced hetero love interests/triangles.
All the hetero couples lol except snow and charming, they are okay. I would prefer a variety of all different kinds of couples. (Lgbt)
That it has so much potential but they can'T stick to the main cast or one plot and instead of dealing with character's feelings and past, what is usually the best part of the show, they try to
force a lot of action into it, a lot more than it's needed, and there a lot of plotholes and a lot of forced stuff.
At the moment, the what seems to be pandering to the lowest common denominator in the fandom. It seems the publicity people are pushing CS and OQ to capitalize on the Twilight-
esque/50 Shades types of viewers, and the lack of focus on primary characters is annoying and distracting. It's like they're trying to squeeze in as much as possible before the show gets
cancelled and it's making it very convoluted right now. The fandom as a whole also makes it hard to enjoy OUaT. I have been kicked off of the OUaT FB page because they demonized me
for shipping SQ. The same thing happened on the Evil Regal FB page. I left a SQ page because they didn't want non-positive discussions of non-SQ ships, which was just weird to me. It

is a hostile fandom, and I'm stumped about how to fix that, if at all.
The writing
The way they brush away important matter like torture, not adressing how Lacey has affected Belle. The way some characters are unuseful to the story but are still lurking around the main
characters.
PR and general inability from the creators to make ouat be a tv product for everyone and not just their toy which accidentally airs on abc.
Plot holes. Inconsistent storytelling. OOC behaviour. Telling us something, but not showing it. Filler episodes. 3 seasons and we haven't had a true backstory for Emma yet we have for
The Giant and Whale's brother, and prince James & Jack.
EVERYTHING. Seriously. Regina is the only main character I like and that is because Lana is an amazing actress. There are other great actors on the show but they have nothing to work
with writing wise. Regina's struggle to be a good person is the reason she is so interesting. I hate Snow and Charming with a passion. They are both so annoying and self-righteous and I
can't stand when Emma and Henry act like them.
The penis parade. The well-meaning but overbearing Snowing the fact that they are like the metaphorical "love the sinner hate the scene" bible thumpers does /not/ help their cause. I find
Snowing exceedingly self-entitled and shallow just because they haven't experienced the painful things that others have, they treat it like it doesn't count or matter, and expect everyone to
see things their way and their way alone. And it's probably not a popular opinion, but I actually find Jennifer Morrison's acting really wooden most of the time. I love Emma, and I think
Morrison's ridiculously hot (god, those arms of hers... and don't get me started on the suit she wore for Paleyfest), but... she. can't. act.
Most if the things I hate lie outside of the show. I hate certain tropes in the media which seem to prevent SQ from being canon. I hate the homophobia within the fandom and I absolute
can't stand the PR. The only thing I don't like about the show is that it seems like they lost their focus with the start of season 3. Characters kept changing too suddenly and it seems like
they want to make them fit the storyline and they don't develop naturally. And they also have a problem with focusing on the core characters. They bring so many characters in but can't
keep track of them and then use them as plot devices.
All the wasted potential. Shitty characterization, the lack of a stable mythology, the way they like to pretend it's a character-driven show, when it's really plot-driven, and it's not even a
decent believable plot anyway. It's lazy, awful writing that could've easily been done so much better. My greatest wish is for people from SWEN to get an OUAT reboot so it can actually be
done right.
The plotholes, the retcon of characters, the need to shoehorn in Hook and Robin Hood in every episode, the lack of diversity (race, sexuality, gender...), how rude some cast members can
be to fans on twitter, how they unnecessarily drag out certain plots, how they like to focus on men and their issues, the lack of resolution in many of the stories, the flip flopping of the
characters and their opinions...
I won't say hate but I tend to not like that sometimes I personally feel that the show doesn't take advantage of its potential. I think the OUAT is a good show but I also believe
wholeheartedly that it could be a great show. There are times when the stories aren't strong enough, when the character development is lacking, when continuity goes out the window.
Sometimes I feel the writers build up to telling stories that they then don't tell in favor of telling lesser or simpler stories and that highly disappoints me. They tell the audience things,
especially recently, more than showing us and I think they believe more often than not that they're giving us brave storytelling and they haven't done that consistently in a while. Oh, and I
rather dislike everyone being related.
It keeps going around in circles.
Heteronormativity, how they see adoption (regina/henry), penis, penis everywhere
PLOT HOLES AND INCONSISTENT CHARACTERIZATION. Also the failure to show and not tell, oh and the failure to stay on one subject for more than one episode- such as Regina
dealing with her mother's death.! lastly, the way they have so far dealt with queer anything *sigh* sleeping warrior had so much potential.
Too many secondary characters taking over in seasons 2 and 3
I hate that they throw in a new disney character nearly every new episode, specially in season 1 and 2 and that the characters are only there for one episode, like Ariel or Rapunzel. They
are only used to bring the main story forward, which is understandable, but I would love to see more of one or two instead of so many. I love The Little Mermaid and I would have liked to
see more of Ariel.
Robin Hood.
The story line right now. I know it is selfish, but if they are not going to get Regina and Emma together, I wish they would go back to how they did the show in season 1 and just develop the
main characters and just focus on them and their interactions with other fairy tales, without all of this ship nonsense. That is what I liked about the show to begin with.
Regina's importance as Henry's mother often being ignored, other people feeling like they can separate her from her son and tell her he isn't hers. Belle's character having been ruined for
the sake of Rumple, and her never having a story outside of him. Hook being such an important character simply because people find him attractive, when he isn't even really needed.
They seem to use the same plot lines over and over and some of the characters lack the depth that others have
The fact that SQ isn't a canon ship and it's obvious that it should be :P
I don't hate anything. I get annoyed sometimes at things like pacing or dumb storylines or inconsistency but hate is way too strong of an emotion for me.
Heteronormative view in the show and lack of canon LGBT characters
Hate is a strong word, but i sincerly dislike the fact that SQ is constantly ignored on the show, how could they deny the chemistry between the two main characters just because they both
are women. If they would've been a man and a woman, with such chemistry, it would be a no brainer to pair the two up.
Having a great story in front of them (SQ) and wasting it for random dudes.
The inconsistent character development
Currently I feel they focus too much on the ships. I especially dislike the current overuse of Hook. His advances on Emma are uncomfortable to watch and I often find him creepy. They
also completely disregard all he did during season two. I also find the Regina and Robin love story almost unwatchable. It is forced and rushed. And Regina is acting quite out of character
with Robin.
Plot holes (like Emma doing magic alone and Jefferson having a hat that can travel worlds but Rumple not using it)
The writing of some of the episodes. The fandom a lot of the time.
CS and Hook + bad writting, plot holes, th PR and maybe OQ
The writing and most plotlines
Season 2; parts of season 3

I am not sure they think about what they are writing into the scripts half the time. And this pervasive biological determinacy theme is disgusting.
That they don't recognize sq as a legit ship
I hated the love triangle between Neal, Hook and Emma. It sparked so much hatred from shippers on both sides and for someone who is in the middle, it got annoying.
The problematic nature of the stories, the distinct lack of diversity, the way that Regina as a woc is constantly dehumanized and stripped of her motherhood
missed opportunities with storylines.
Hook. I quite liked him in season 2, but the awful character development has totally destroyed any positive feelings I had towards him at all.
Heteronormative and they get repetitive.
It's too heteronormitive and there aren't enough POC.
I love the idea of the show and how each fairy take is connected, I just dislike the way the writers write some story lines. One thing that really bothers me is that in each season there is a
villain they have to beat, or an obstacle they have to overcome and then they defeat the villain/conquer the obstacle, only to have it happen all over again. It's getting kind of repetitive. And
I understand that that's what stories are made of(especially fairy tales). Some people who reach a challenge, overcome it and live happily ever after. But like I said, it's just repetitive now
and I think maybe they should focus on the characters development toward happiness. They should also dig into Emma's past more, too. We hardly know who she was or why she is the
way she is today. I'd like to fully understand each key character.
Shitty plot holes. And Hook.
the lack of inclusivity. The fact that the idea of happy endings they subscribe to only appear to be available to attractive, young, white, straight characters. Their treatment of both poc and
lgbt character is appalling. Add to that the portrayal of blood relations and birth parents as superior to adoption. That redemption isn't earned but rather given implicitly if a certain criteria is
met (e.g blood relation). Also the plot is shocking and full of holes, the stories are not planned out enough and the cgi is pretty terrible...
The wasted potential for awesome storylines (Jack and the beanstalk, Rapunzel) I hate the promos really. They are misleading. or too revealing. But other that that, it's my obsession :)
CapSwan, Outlaw Queen
My my my, we're going to be here for a very long time. 1) Plot holes galore! 2) Way too many characters being introduced! 3) The retconning of some very important main characters! 4)
The OOC Regina Mills that I had the displeasure of seeing in 3x16! 5) Way too many plots coming out of nowhere! 6) Regina and Emma having random dudes wanting to be with them/are
their "true loves" all of a sudden! Without chemistry or explanation! 7) What happened to Mulan. Who knows! 8) Their less-than-stellar treatment of women and POCs! 9) I could go on all
day, but this is a basic list of OUAT's main flaws.
How they are changing the female characters so that they will fit their male characters. I hate absolutely hate that. I hate the fact that they keep pushing and pushing first for Hook and
Emma and now Regina and Robin if a story is not making sense than for gods sake there is no need to take it further just stop. And I absolutely hate how they keep making their male
characters always seem so much better than the females, the males are always the heores and females are always the damsels in distress. A woman does not need a man to be saved.
ALL THE FAMILY RELATIONS. ROBIN HOOD AND CAPTAIN HOOK (not just for shipping reasons).
when they rush the story CGI too much emphasis on tertiary characters Regina's relating with other characters often poorly written Hook, most of the time
Hook and his slimey habits. The retconning of Robin Hood. The entire neverland plot.
AHHHHHHHHH
They introduce too many new characters.
Constantly adding new characters instead of focusing on the ones they have. So much action that I feel like the characters barely have time to even talk about things with each other.
Highly promoted romantic relationships like CS and OQ even though a large portion of the fans don't like it.
Don't really watch it.
It juggles too many characters and doesn't focus on the core ones enough. It's SUPER heteronormative and irresponsible in including any sort of diversity into a show that has a chance to
modernize fairytales.
Hook & Hood are terribly written & terribly forced. I want more Poc, I love Regina but one character isn't enough. Plus the minor poc characters die. Like stop. No LGBT characters still,
minor or main. No, Milan doesn't count. She didn't even admit her feelings to Aurora. People can still say she was in love with Philip.
Plot holes, things that happen previously dont really get addressed, Hooks remarks, rushed outlaw queen plot, hook centric episodes, to many curses, Regina bashing
I find that they brush off a lot of problematic things (i.e, Regina's torture, Regina killing Daniel again, Snow killing Cora, etc), which angers me.
The crappy writing, Hook, Hood, the fact that they drop old characters I care about for new characters, the fact that the don't focus on fairy-tales only, too many worlds (and too much world
jumping), too many male characters have been introduced, the horrible CGI (which is a little less horrible this season), the repetition of story-lines, etc.
THE FACT THAT SEASON 1 WAS SO GOOD BUT I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT I MIGHT GET UPSET; my problem with OUAT actually comes from this. I think the curse was
broken to early and since that moment we don't get to sit down for an episode and have scenes that don't involve magic, drama and new villains popping up and things like that. Everything
is kind of going to fast so that's why I enjoy episodes where we get to see characters having a deep conversation and not just talking about how to defeat the new villain in town or find a
magical solution to their problems.
I think that the depiction of Captain Swan is unhealthy and rushed sloppy writing. I think that the shitty writing doesn't get fixed and the writers don't take criticism into consideration. I also
think that it does a shitty job with representation(almost the entire main cast is white, 'straight', cis people. Excluding LP who is hispanic.)
nothing (I've disliked some things, like the unfortunate anti-adoption implications in some early episodes, but never to the point of hate)
All the feels it gives me lol good or bad !!!!
not sure
That Hook immediately forgiven for all his mistakes and hailed as a hero, while Regina took 3 seasons to get there in the Charmings eyes.
The hatred, ignorance and shipping wars in the fandom. It's so unnecessary. The biased PR nonsense. The potential that we are just being "queer baited" with no intention to ever
recognise the relationship or even the potential for one. The inconsistent writing and plot holes. The degradation of Regina's adoptive relationship to Henry as somehow less than bio
relationships. The frequent failure to recognise Regina's tremendous character development and the fact that she is still called and treated like "the evil queen" despite all her redemptive
acts (well death curse absorption, fighting the diamond trigger, giving up henry to recast the curse, facing the WW etc) particularly when rumple the manipulative mastermind is excused
and forgiven and allowed (by the writers) his love story. Oh and the fact that it's not bloody airing beyond S2 in the uk.

The lack of consistency, the plot holes, the way they focus on plot instead of character development, the way they stupidify or alter characters to fit the plot (or to fir romantic storylines...).
Plot holes
Outlaw Queen. It's balls.
I don't like when they add in random characters and never mention them again (Rapunzel) and when characters just vanish and don't get mentioned again, like August, Ruby, Mulan ect.
The lack of continuity The forced relationships The lack of Emma-centric flashbacks/episodes
recicled storylines and scenes, even the parallels now are recicled from S1
It seems that every female character always has to have a love interest. They can't stand alone.
the horrid way they handle basically everything
Lack of character development/back story on certain characters
Where the writers choose to take the stories sometimes. Somethings I just don't think they are doing it right, but hey it is not my show so they will do what they want. Sometimes the CGI is
a little over the stop and makes the show very corny and comical in a way, but with all the bad I still can't help but love it even more when I watch it.
Literally EVERYONE being related to Henry That Emma is being paired with a male Regina That Regina is being paired with a male Emma That they killed off Cora That we don't get to
see more back-story for secondary characters like Abigail, Red, Grumpy, Jefferson, Michael,.Hopper etc
Its heteronormative and how it caters to certain fans.
plot holes, too much melodrama and too much action at the expense of a good story
Plot holes
The C.G.I for one. The witing can be really bad and over the top.
I don't hate anything about OUAT. I dislike plotholes, lack of clear direction, and the fact that I'm a 34 yr old woman watching a show that is now clearly geared towards the teen
demographic.
Inconsistencies in storytelling. Too many people are related. It's ability to attract not only homophobic viewers but also racist viewer in droves.
The plot holes, the repetition of certain story lines and the removal of more depth to characters once they become involved in a romance story line.
The crappy writing, OQ and CS,and the fact that SQ isn't canon yet!
the fandom war
The lack of consistency. The fact that they could do new and interesting things with these familiar characters but they don't. The incredibly predictable plot twists. The way it takes itself so
seriously sometimes. The way they treat adoption and parenting in general. The way they've added male love interests that aren't really needed and act like they mean so much when we
haven't really seen them develop. The way the people behind it treat us for seeing sq. Like it's so ludicrous that two leading women could ever be together, like we're crazy for thinking it
would work or whatever when the love interests they do write in are just cheap male copies of the characters.
Queer representation. What queer representation.
The anti-adoption theme I get from Henry's relationship with Regina. It makes it seem like she was just a placeholder until Emma could come and break the curse, rather than being his
mother and caretaker and loving him for the first ten years of his life.
Most everything. Terrible writing. Heterosexist and even homophobic cast and crew members.
Some characters background stories. And this true love business between Regina and Robin Hood.
Inconsistency in writing and plot holes.
White-washed, lack of LGBT representation, canon love relationships are often really lame (Ariel/Eric for example) sometimes the dialogue is very shitty, occasionally too campy. CGI
could definitely use some work
Tbh if I filled this out it would take a long time I guess the heteronormativity and weird plot lines
The Penis Parade. The CGI. Most of the time, the writing.
The shipping crap...too many wars, arguments...I also don't like the way the show is going now...Need new writings, more character developments, no more curses...
The ship wars! I wish we could all get along.
Everything. The writing is horrible. They contradict themselves and seem to change the rules to bend to what their "super cool master plan" is. And the penis parade is super annoying.
Okay, so a part from the whole story book characters thing it can get pretty unrealistic. Also I feel like some characters are glorified for wrong reasons or despite what they've done
The blatant ship-baiting they have been gulty of. And not just for SQ. It's like they lost themselves in the fandom side of things and tried to please everyone at once, losing any kind of
story-telling on the way.
Lack of POC, forced het ships, the fact that hook is still alive, unnecessary love triangles.
The need for rushed romances. That sometimes great characters do not get enough screentime.
uhh the crappy charcter development, i wish they would make ouat darker...we have allusions of abuse, marital rape and many other things but they are just brushed under the carpet like
it's nothing.i hate that they rush OQ so much(i dont ship it but it makes Regina do things ooc and the brainless shippers eat all this up without wanting their ship to have a proper story and
development besides they find each other attractive and it's meant to be via fairy dust and a tattoo), this whole henry and hook thing about hook taking care of bae- yeah let's forget that he
gave him to peter and he ended up living alone and afraid for his life for a number of years in neverland.I also get annoyed by hook's fangirls(yeah he is hot but just because of that you
can't ignore his actions ) but that's more of a fandom thing.
1) They seem to be perpetuating this 'twilight-esque' type of romance. Someone who constantly pushes himself on a woman shouldn't be shown to be romantic. 2) This is a show about
Emma & Regina and yet Emma has less back stories than any other main character. 3) This show gives women less screen time but promotes men to regulars every season. 4) The
promotion of the show is in NO way inclusive of all ships. Swan Queen is ignored by the media as well as the promotional team. 5) Discussion between core characters is often neglected,
instead we get a lot of action. 6) New characters are great, but not at the expense of the old ones. Ruby, Kathryn, Whale, Mulan are all forgotten about. It's as though they weren't ever
important to the core characters. 7) PLOT HOLES and inconsistencies

The pushed ships. Like Outlaw Queen. There's no storyline, no background, and they just promoted this pair even before we saw their first interaction. It makes NO sense. And it feels like
they're trying to sell it with a cute and adorable little boy. I just can't stand to feel forced to ship this pair, just because I want Regina's happiness.
I hate Outlaw Queen, I hate Captain Swan, I hate Robin Hood, I hate Captain Hook, I hate Rumbelle.
How inconsistent the writing can be, how they try to do way too many storylines and introduce way too many characters every season. How often the writers build up storylines to the
climax and then completely abandon them, which keeps us from seeing any fallout from the storyline or any character growth. They killed off Regina's mother and then she disappeared
for a few episodes. Snow killed Regina's mother, and Regina and Snow never really dealt with it beyond a few scenes. The writers are just awful at following the course of storylines and
planning out the full arcs of the seasons. Hook is also a really gross character that the writers are romanticizing, but I've learned to tune him out.
