Having fallen into a helpless condition due to being bound with the rope of pratih by the
plunderers headed by lust and anger, I implore those heroic personalities (headed by r Svarpa,
r Rpa, and r Santana) who protect the path of bhakti by which one attains the destroyer of
sin, r Hari, to protect me by cutting that rope and vanquishing those plunderers.

As I burn in the forest fire of old age, the wicked serpent of blindness is devouring me, from all
directions the sharp arrows of my dependence on others are piercing me, and I am fully surrounded
by the lions headed by lust and anger. Hey Swmin! Hey r Hari! Be merciful and make me drink
the liquid nectar of Your prema which will enable me to disregard these anxieties and perform res-
olute bhajana for You.

Vaikuha is the eternal dhma where Bhagavn is served by r Lakm and unlimited other
eternal associates, but even more exalted than Vaikuha is r Haris supremely dear Dvrakpur
where He resides surrounded by His own relatives such as brothers and sons and where He perpetu-
ally sports with principal queens whose virtues, beauty, and good fortune mock those of even hun-
dreds of Lakms. But due to being the place of His birth, r Mathurpur, which is the very
embodiment of prema in the form of land and within which r Vraja-maala is magnificently
manifest, is even more dear to Him than Dvrakpur isI eternally worship that Mathur-dhma.

I take shelter of that kingdom of r Haris where, accompanied by r Baladeva and His dearly
beloved sakhs, with great love r Mdhava eternally performs sporting pastimes headed by taking
the cows out to graze. The wonderful sweetness of this kingdom appears in the hearts of only a
select few rasika devotees and it is superior even to Mathur.

With skilful pranks and accompanied by the supremely clever sakhs, the youthful couple Kiora

In Vndvana is the village of Nandvara where r Laksm is always wandering in all directions,
where the entirety of mah-siddhis exist eternally, where cows are served by everyone, where the
Vraja-vss happily reside, and where r Ka roams freely whilst enjoying His pastimes under the
loving protection of His parents. I worship this Nandvara, which is the home of Vrajarja r

I worship the king of Gokula, r Nanda Mahrja, whose very life is r Ka. For the welfare of
his son, he daily pleases the brhmaas by respectfully donating them varieties of sweetmeats,
drinks, and celestial cows decorated with jewels. Being overwhelmed with love for his son, he

Out of fear of Kasa and overcome with feelings of parental affection, Vabhnu Mahrja kept

worshipped Sryadeva. May that Sryadeva, who removes obstacles which prevent one from
attaining r Ka, protect us.

May I always have great love for r Gurudeva, the Gyatr mantras which he has given me, r
Harinma, the lotus feet of r ac-nandana Gaurahari, r Svarpa Dmodara Goswm and his
followers, r Rpa Goswm and his elder brother r Santana Goswm, r Girirja Govard-
hana, r Rdh-kua, r Mathur-dhma, r Vndvana, the kingdom of Vraja, the pure devo-

Not even for one moment will I reside in any other place than Vraja, even if a Deity of r Hari is
installed in that place and even if I can lovingly relish bhakti-rasa in the company of the Vaiavas
who reside there. Birth after birth I will reside in the land of Vraja, even if I may be engaged in idle
conversation with the residents there.

r Vraja-bhmi, to go to that r Dvrak-pur.

would leave r Vndvana and with a proud heart fly there even faster than Garua.
