DESIGNED CAB
Power, utility,
comfort and visibility
all in one package
Case designed the new 921E cab to
match the machine environment to the
operator. The adjustable tilt steering
column, infinitely adjustable seat with
arm rests and additional interior cab
space maximizes operator comfort
and productivity. Featuring an enlarged
cab floor covered with a continuous
rubber floor mat that is level with the
entrance, the cab provides maximum
legroom and is easier to keep clean.
The large, isolation-mounted cab
includes plenty of user-friendly
controls, comfort features and
productivity enhancements. Designed
with ergonomics and operator comfort
in mind, the cab on the 921E is among
the quietest in the industry.
Numerous air diffusers provide maxi-
mum air circulation for faster, more
thorough heating and cooling. Floor-
to-ceiling glass in the front and a
contoured, one-piece rear engine
compartment offer a panoramic view
for maximum forward and rear visibility.
The clear, direct view to the front tires,
bucket edge and work site provides
more safe, productive and efficient
operation. A redesigned front fender
protects from flying material and debris.
The standard single-lever loader
control with a forward-neutral-reverse
switch and transmission downshift
button puts all the controls at your
fingertips. A digital display records
real-time data, shows diagnostic
information and allows programming
of operational modes and more.
The in-cab thermal box keeps food
and drink at the appropriate temper-
aturehot or coldduring a long, hard
day on the job, and a lockable storage
compartment keeps your personal
items secure. The cab door and full-
glass, right-hand window swing back
180 degrees for maximum cross
ventilation. In addition, the right-hand
window can be opened slightly to
adjust the temperature by allowing
outside air to enter the cab.

ENHANCED TIER III-CERTIFIED POWER
921E delivers power and fuel economy to move more material per day
The Case 921E Wheel Loader is
powered by a fully electronic, 11-liter
Tier III-certified Cummins engine that
supplies multiple power curves,
allowing you to match power and fuel
economy to your specific application
and maximize profits. The engine
incorporates a new electronic fuel
injection system, which allows high-
pressure fuel and air to mix thoroughly
for cleaner, more efficient combustion.
Extra work modes
Choose between three power curves:
max, standard and economy power;
and four work modes: max, standard,
economy and auto. For high-production
excavating, bank-digging operations
that require high breakout force and
maximum power to the wheels, you
can choose to use maximum power
at all times.
When youre moving lighter material,
economy mode will complete your task
with the greatest fuel efficiency. In auto
mode the electronically controlled
engine automatically adjusts between
power curves to move the maximum
amount of material per pound of fuel
making it a good choice for quarry
operations and other applications that
switch frequently between loading,
roading and pushing into a pile.

provides quick, ground-line access
to the entire engine. Fluid sight
gauges are positioned at eye level.

Keeping your Case 921E Wheel Loader in
top running shape requires less effort, so
you have more time for the important
thingslike work.
The only tool youll need for daily maintenance checks is a rag to wipe oil off the dipstick.
The electrically actuated rear hood provides
easy, ground-line access to the engine and
all daily maintenance checkpoints.
The new cooling package on the 921E
offers improved access for cleaning and
features a swing-out AC condenser.
Ride Control for
a smoother ride
For greater material retention and
machine control over the toughest
terrain, the optional Ride Control

reduces shock loads both to the

operator and the wheel loader. Working
as shock absorbers, the loader arms
cushion the bucket and maintain a full
load. Ride Control can be utilized full
time for cushioning when trans-
porting material up an incline or in
Auto Mode, which will activate Ride
Control any time transport speeds
exceed 3 mph.
Z-bar linkage for
more productivity
Equipped with traditional Z-bar
linkage, the Case 921E Wheel Loader
provides high production, fast cycles,
maximum operating loads and great
visibility to the bucket.
Whether youre moving dirt or
gravel, loading a hopper or articulated
truck, or working in a special applica-
tion, the 921E has the power to
maximize productivity.
Bucket
The 921E features a redesigned bucket
for higher productivity and increased
life. The bolt-on cutting edge has been
extended to accommodate larger
loads. A finer edge provides easier
penetration into the pile.
The bottom floor plate on the bucket
is set at a 5-degree angle for easy
transition of material for rapid fill.
The hinge pins are raised up out
of the dirt and debris for longer life
and improved mixing and filling of
material. Reinforced skid plates,
thicker material and stronger side
cutters provide increased durability.
O-ring seals extend life by preventing
initial dirt infiltration on all bucket
pin locations.
