Quizzes
Students will have to present a quiz every two weeks.
These quizzes will be sent to the Academy Coordinator at the beginning of the week.
The questions should be in the multiple choice format.
You can print and make copies of the quizzes at TECMilenio
Partial exams
There are 20 questions at each partial exam.
10 questions will be taken from the quizzes.
10 questions will have never been used before.
They must follow the Marzanos Taxonomy
The partial exam must be sent to the Academy Coordinator a week before the exam to be checked and
make changes if necessary.
You can print and make copies of the partial exams at TECMilenio
Final exam
The final exam is centralized, which means that it will be provided by the TECMilenio Campus Monterrey.
Usually we get the exam 1 or 2 days in advance.
It will be provided by the Academy Coordinator on time so you can make copies.
Students Book and Workbook
The book will have to be new.
They CANNOT use an answered book.
They CANNOT make copies
The books will be sold at the library (August 14
th
to 16
th
) which means that by August 19
th
all the
students must have the books.

If by that date they dont have the book, they will not be able to attend class. Unless they copy
everything and once they have the book they copy from the notebook to the book.
Learning Outcome
Each one of these learning outcomes will be assigned as follow:
o First: To be decided by the teacher (before the first partial exam)
o Second: To be decided by the teacher (before the second partial exam)
o Third: Reading book assignment, the students will have to hand in all the assignments done
during the semester and a final one. (before the final exam).
o Fourth: English improvement, the details will be given during the semester (before the final
exam).
Book assignment
This semester, the students will have to read a book (novel).
Each week, at last 30 minute will have to be about the book.
The activities will be developed by the teachers.
They will have to hand in all the assignments done during the semester at the end and a final project, in
order to get the 10% of the 3
rd
learning outcome.
The book will be sold at the library and students CANNOT make copies.

Comments and Grades
The grades must be uploaded to Online Services every Sunday, at latest.
Every two weeks we, as teachers, will have to send to the students tutors comments about their
performance in the class.
We will have to complete an excel file as follow:
o Sheet 1: write the comments, grades and absences of each student.
o Sheet 2: Copy from on line services the accumulated grade
o Sheet 3: Copy from on line services all the grades
If a SC (sin calificacin) is noticed by the tutor, they will send the file back and you will have to correct the
grades.
The students are mixed at English class, that is why we will have to send the excel file to all the tutors
using a color code. (this color code will be provided the first week of the semester)

The color code and tutors mails will be provided by file.
The dates to send the comments will be provided the first week of the semester.

The academy meetings are set the following days:

Teachers evaluation
The teachers are constantly evaluated in order to provide an excellent service to the students and their
parents.

The Academy Coordinator and other teachers will visit your class at least twice during the semester. This
is an evaluation tool so we can improve our teaching skills.
Tutorships
If students need to come to tutorships, teachers must set the time and day so they come at least once a
week for one hour.
Lesson Plans
Every week you should send your lesson plan using the provided format. You can do it either by day, week or
unit.
