Introduction:
Nowadays a lot of candidates are working hard to get a bank job . One of the main
gateway to reach the goal of bank job is through IBPS.
IBPS (Institute of Bank Personnel Selection) has introduced the concept of Common
Written Exam (CWE) for Officer and Clerical cadres.
IBPS will conduct this exam 2 times in a year, once each for Clerks and Probationary
Officers. The candidates are to take the test only once to be eligible for all public sector
banks.Each Candidate will be given a scorecard,and they can apply to the bank/s of their
choice.
The common exam model will cover job vacancies in the following banks:-

Please note That State Bank of India & its 5 associate banks do not participate in this
process and they will conduct separate tests whenever required
Structure Of Examination:
a) Pattern of Exam:
b) Negative Marking - 1/4th or 0.25 marks assigned to the question will be deducted.
c) Cutoff Score: Each candidate will have to secure a minimum standard score in each
of the tests as well as on the Total Weighted Standard Score to be called for
interview.
d) Interview: After getting the position in the list of shortlist of the candidates for CWE
PO -III, the particular organization will be called for the interview. The total marks
for interview are 100. The marks should not be less than 40% to qualify the
interview. The weightage ration of CWE Exam and interview should be 80:20.
