Adventure Quest: Team Makers / Pre-K - Kindergarten - Thursdays 3:30pm
Each week participants will go on an exciting quest playing a series of fun and exciting games that require them to use their imagination and
thinking skills. They will learn to blend both their cooperation and leadership abilities while developing socialization skills that will last a lifetime. You
will be amazed to see the transformation as you watch your child blossom and grow over these weeks of activity.

Aviation: Hobby Quest / 1st - 3rd Grade - Thursdays 4:30pm {Supply Fee: $40.00 per session}
Learn how to build your own aircrafts and high-ying balsa wood motorized airplanes that climb extreme altitudes. Build Long Distance Fliers and
Stunt Machine tricks! Each model is built from scratch and is yours to keep at the end of the semester!

Best In The Field (Soccer): Coach Aaron Shulman / 3rd - 5th Grade Mondays 4:30pm
Focus on gaining condence and building soccer skills such as defending, attacking, shooting and nishing through games and drills.

BollyX Dance: EmpowerFit / 4th & 5th Grade - Tuesdays 4:30pm


Join in a high intensity cardio workout that is bound to get your body jumping and dancing to the beats of Bollywood.

Cheerleading: Coach Lauren Greene Girls / 3 - 5th Grade Wednesdays 4:30pm (Moriah Students Only)
Come boost your condence, school spirit, sharpen your teamwork skills and above all have fun!
Through the sport of Cheerleading, AACCA certied coach Miss Lauren Greene, will assist the girls in bringing out the best in themselves and their
teammates. Cheerleading is a sport combined with the arts. This program will work on beginner tumbles and cheers, basic combinations and dance
routines. No gymnastics experience is necessary. #Please wear comfortable gym clothes that t well- a tee shirt, sweatpants, dance pants or
leggings and sneakers. Pom Poms will be provided. Please bring a water bottle.

Chess Club Beginners: International Chess Academy /1st Grade & up Thursdays 4:30pm
Learn the rules of the game. Discover how pawn/pieces move & and capture; castle, 'en passant', pawn promotion; check; checkmate; notation -
chess 'abc'; Basic strategy: Checkmate - is the goal of the game -Development of the pieces - Stalemate - Capturing the opponent pieces - pieces
value (absolute). Check Mate Concept (how to') -Mate with queen & king - mate with 2 rooks - mate with 1 rook and king.

Chess Club Intermediate: International Chess Academy / 3rd Grade & up Thursdays 4:30pm
Basic tactics I (tactical devices) Pin - Double attack - Discover threat/check - Double check ;Basic tactics II (simple combinations)

Creative Computer Coding: Nancy Miller / 3rd - 5th Grade Mondays 4:30pm
Stimulate your mind by learning to to create visual presentations, design websites and be exposed to the secret code of computer language through
the use of games and Minecraft.

Participants will create art projects for the sheer enjoyment of manipulating scissors, glue, markers and paints expressions of themselves.

Boost your beading creativity! Learn the basic tools, nding and techniques for making jewelry. Each week you will be able to design and craft your
personalized bead creation, through the use of colors, shapes and texture.

Extreme Sports: Team Makers - 3rd - 5th Grade Thursdays 4:30pm


Participants will play a series of sports games each week to become king of the hill for the week and will win small token prizes to commemorate
the achievement. Classes will be team focused so each participant learns to work together. Each week new games will be introduced and new
skills will be learned, using the whole child methodology.

Fashionistas: Hobby Quest - 2nd - 5th Grade Tuesdays 4:30pm [Supply Fee - $40.00]
Participants will enjoy the ins and outs of fashion design from top to bottom, head to toe - the possibilities are endless! Learn to create an entire
ensembles, including shirts, skirts to show off the rest of the school year!

Fencing: Riverknoll Fencing Club - 3rd - 5th Grade Fridays 2:00pm / 6th - 8th Grade Wednesdays 4:30pm
This is a great beginner class that teaches the skills needed in the sport of Fencing aka physical chess! Students will practice foot
work, learn blade control, and have the opportunity to bout. Class is limited to 12 students.
* Participants are required to purchase their own basic fencing equipment. www.bluegauntlet.com, in Saddlebrook, NJ. A 5 piece beginner foil set
for approx. $100.00. A plastic chest piece is also suggested. Students should wear sweatpants, t-shirt and sneakers. Bring water to hydrate.

Flag Football: Coach Teshawn Warren - 3rd - 5th Grade Fridays 2:00pm / 6th - 8th Grade Thursdays 4:30pm
Learn the fundamentals of football with a Englewood State Championship coach. A combination of skills, drills, and conditioning, participants will
be able to function in an organized Flag Football game. Team work and dedication will be implemented as well as sportsmanship.
Attire: Shorts or sweat pants, tucked in t-shirt, Under Amour, compression shorts and sneakers. NO cleats, jeans or cargo shorts.

Flute For Beginners: Arete Music Academy - 3rd - 8th Grade Thursdays 4:30pm
This program will introduce ute to beginning students in an interactive environment. The course will begin with fun exercises on breath control
and how to assemble the instrument. Throughout the 8 week course, students will learn to handle and play the instrument progressively, with the
emphasis on the breathing exercises and musicianship. Flute rental can be arranged to Arete Music Academy or Odobella.

Fun Fitness: Nurit Chasman - 4th & 5th Grade Thursdays 4:30pm / 6th - 8th Grade Tuesdays 4:30pm
A fun lled, active and non-competitive program to get participants excited about exercising. Everything from relay races to jump rope techniques,
will get everyone moving, sweating and smiling. Its all about making tness fun!

Great Treasure Hunt: Team Makers - 1st - 3rd Grade Fridays 2:00pm
Each week participants are transported to the jungle to nd great jewels and treasures. Participants will perform hi-energy, interactive games,
solving challenges while having a ton of fun. Game themes include Operation A-Maze-Ing, Its Arrr Treasure, Extreme Endurance and many more.
All games are giant-sized with every child participating, moving, and working together.

Guitar: Arete' Music Academy - 3rd Grade & Up Tuesdays 4:30pm


Participants will earn about the instrument, proper posture, finger coordination, and music-reading. The group class sets a foundation for playing
all styles of music with the guitar A guitar may be rented through Odibella our Arte Music Academy..

Hands on Homework Tutoring: (Moriah Only) 1st - 5th Grade Wednesdays 3:30pm [Supplemental Fee $50.00]
For students who would like a step above the homework monitors, our own highly skilled elementary school teachers will provide hands on
assistance with homework, in a warm and friendly environment.

Hands on Homework Club: Rachel Schwartz - (Moriah Only) 6th - 8th Grade Wednesdays 4:30pm
Our own Mrs. Rachel Schwartz is a highly-skilled teacher who will provide middle school students with hands on assistance with home work
assignments, in a warm and friendly environment.

Hip Hop: 4Gs Dance Studio - 3rd - 5th Grade Wednesdays 4:30pm
Welcome to the 4Gs Hip Hop Dance Class. Join a fun lled experience where kids can express themselves through the art of dance. Learn the
latest dance crazes, hip hop moves and choreography from the most popular dance videos!! Lets Dance!!

Karate: Kidsafe - Nursery - K Tuesdays 3:30pm / 1st - 3rd Tuesdays; 4:30pm / 3rd - 5th Grade Wednesday 4:30pm
Come learn how to block, kick and punch as a method of keeping t and healthy. This program is designed to enhance self-esteem, self-
discipline and safety awareness. Participants are placed into classes by age and ability.

Kindermusic: Annette Simmons - Nursery - Kindergarten Mondays 3:30pm


This class combines preschoolers natural love of music, storytelling, and imaginative play with age-appropriate activities that introduce early
music concepts and foster independence, social and emotional skills, language growth, and self-control. The Kindermusik@Home digital home

Lets Layn: Dr. Elliot Prager - 6th & 7th Grade Mondays 4:30pm
Calling all Bnei Mitzvahs! Learn the fundamentals of reading and layning from the Torah, while understanding the meanings of codes.

Learn To Skate Hockey: Pre - K - 1st Grade Mondays 3:30 - 5:00pm; [Off-Site Session Fee: $350.00]
Participants will learn the fundamentals of Ice Hockey using specialty Hockey coaches. Participants be transported via bus from Moriah to
Mackay Ice Arena with 2 Moriah teacher as monitors to assist with transition and gear.
Session Begins October 20 - December 8th Please pick up participant from Mackay Ice Arena

Livin On A Prayer: Rabbi Yoni Fine - 2nd - 5th Grade Thursdays 4:30pm
Come join our beginners prayer class that will help gain an awareness and familiarity with the words of daily prayer.

Magic of Art: Gila Bretter - 3rd - 5th Grade Wednesdays 4:30pm / 6th - 8th Grade Mondays 4:30pm
Participants will enjoy creative and fun activities using the world of nature, paints, 3D designs, mosaic tiles, stain glass, melting crayons on
canvas and lots of other kid friendly mediums.

Military Club: Deon Cucuta - 1st - 5th Grade Wednesdays 4:30pm


Moriah Plus welcomes Combat Vets. Expose your child to the history of the American Military while learning the core values of teamwork,
leadership and respect through group exercises and stories. Learn the formal ag folding ceremony and other valued American traditions.

Mini Kickers Soccer: Aaron Schulman Nursery - Kindergarten Fridays 2:00pm


Participants will learn the fundamentals of soccer through the use of fun games, drills and activities.

Pee Wee Zumba: Pascale Warman - Nursery, Pre-K and Kindergarten Wednesdays 3:30pm
This program features age appropriate music and moves that gets all participants dancing to the beat. Its all about feeling fearless on the dance
oor and reinforces the idea to be yourself and let go!

Pint Size Picassos: Gila Bretter - Nursery Tuesdays 3:30pm

Progressive Prayer: Rabbi Eitan Lipstein - 6th - 8th Grade Wednesdays 4:30pm.
Participants will learn how to read, understand meaningful prayers from a Siddur. Each week students will focus on one or two blessings and
learn how to connect to them. Must bring a Siddur, pen, highlighter, and post-it notes.

Runners Club: Coach Laura Kudowitz - 2nd - 5th Grade Tuesdays 4:30pm / 6th - 8th Grade Thursdays 4:30pm
This program offers a variety of running techniques and styles to t every participants individual needs and goals. Designed to enhance the
athletic abilities and increase physical tness, each participant will strive to achieve proper strength and conditioning. Come and challenge
yourself both physically and mentally. It is about sharing, learning and helping others become the best they can be.

Show of Hands!: Gila Bretter- 1st - 2nd Grade Tuesdays 4:30pm [Supply Fee: $30.00]
Participants will create art through the use of basic design elements such as, space, color, value, texture and design. Using tempra, acrylic and
water color paints as well as Fiber Arts.

Standing Ovation!: Stacy Sager - 5th - 8th Grade Mondays 4:30pm


This is an introductory class for participants interested in drama.#Learn to play improvisational games and participate in presentations in front of
their friends.#The main goal of the program is to provide a forum for each individual to be creative and imaginative, while gaining experience in
performing and presenting before an audience.#The ultimate goal is to gain condence and have fun!

String Orchestra: Arete Music Academy - 2nd - 8th Grade Thursdays 4:30pm
The String Orchestra is an open by audition to advanced beginner string players (violins, viola and cello.) Participants joining this orchestra
should have mastered basic technical aspects of playing the instrument and be able to read music prociently. The orchestral repertoire will be
selected based on the level of the ensemble. A year-end concert will be scheduled according to students availability.
Participants must bring their own instruments. Group rental can be arranged through Arete Music Academy.

Techno For Tots: Nancy Miller - Pre - K - Kindergarten Tuesdays 3:30pm


Participants will be exposed to the use of technology using the latest apps and Ipads. Putting technology in your childrens hands is just the start
of preparing them for school and life.

The World of Drums: Chuck McPherson - 2nd - 5th Grade Tuesdays 4:30pm [Supply Fee (drum pad) $20.00]
Learn the basics of drumming, develop hand eye coordination, rhythm, and create basic music compositions while having lots of fun! Participants
will have the privilege of marching in various parades throughout the year.

The Write Idea: Rachel Schwartz 6th - 8th Grade Mondays 4:30pm
This program is designed to enrich the students writings styles through reading, writing, thinking and discussion.

Come and learn the fundamentals of beginners basketball! Through the use of lower hoops and smaller balls, this class will bring out the baller
in you! Passing, dribbling and shooting drills will enhance muscle coordination and body movement.

TopShelf Tip Top Endurance: Coach Donald Hennie - 1st - 3rd Grade Thursdays 4:30pm / 6th - 8th Grade Tuesdays 4:30pm
This program is a dynamic, high energy, total body work out that focuses on every muscle group at an intensity that will improve your strength
and endurance. It incorporates a variety of exercises designed to keep you on your toes!

TopShelf Basketball: Coach Donald Hennie 6th - 7th Grade Fridays 2:30pm
This program will promote all aspects of the game..ball handling, shooting, speed and agility, attacking the basket, passing, defensive footwork,
and being an all around smarter basketball player. Guaranteed to make a better player out everyone that attends.

Violin For Beginners: Arete Music Academy - 4th & Up Thursdays 4:30pm
This program is designed to introduce violin to beginner students in an interactive environment, The course begins with a detailed instruction of
how to hold and take care of the instrument properly. Arete Violin Teaching Method focuses on proper bow hold and hand position, nger
coordination, ear training and basic note reading. Each student must bring their own instrument to class and have at home to practice. Group
rental can be arranged.

Volleyball Fundamentals: Shani Mendelsohn - 6th - 7th Grade Tuesdays 4:30pm


Master the fundamentals of Volleyball. Participants will learn basic skills such as serving, passing, spiking, blocking, rolling and sliding.

Write From the Beginning: Carole Robinson - 2nd - 3rd Grade Tuesdays 4:30pm
This program is designed for students who enjoy writing but not limited by traditional topics and formats. Topics include, Eating Aaron Zweibacks,
Amazing Cookies, Magic Writing, A Handy Story and Help, I m Stuck Inside A Baby Food Jar!.

This hands on program will focus on Fall favorites recipes that are both nutritious and delicious through cooking and baking, cake decorating,

This program combines the strength of yoga and the freedom of dance that allows for a great and invigorating work out!

Through the use of animated poses and basic stretching exercises, participants will gain strength, exibility and body awareness. This will
improve concentration, focus and help release energy in a fun safe environment.
