MARKET SUMMARY FOR THE WEEK ENDED 20 JUNE 2014


The All Share index moved southward from 45 to 41,129 during the week. Thus the week
recorded a loss of 0.93%.
Major gainers for the week included; Oando, MRS and Caverton Offshore Support
The best 3 major indexes that are driving force for some of the positive gains:
1. NSE Oil & Gas 14.95%
2. NSE Insurance 1.68%
3. NSE Industrial Goods 0.2%

Comment: Most of the banks have experienced fairly good price movements, but the recent
downturn in the market affected most of the market leaders. I am targeting Sterling bank, the
earnings growth put the bank as 3
rd
best, and the effect of additional capital raised would be
felt in the 2014 result.

price seems high but for some months the price of the stock has not fallen below this price,
thus it this is like a support level.
