what? Te Master of Arts in Christian Tought ex-
plores the intersection of theology and todays culture
and society. Students probe tough questions and inter-
act in thoughtful discussions surrounding the impli-
cations of Scripture today, while exploring Christian
history and theology.
WHO? M.A. in Christian Tought students are typical-
ly interested in pursuing doctoral work or teaching in
Christian education. Others enroll as full-time pastors,
bi-vocational pastors or non-ordained staf seeking
to increase their ministry efectiveness in the church,
workplace or other vocations.
why? At Gordon-Conwell, we believe that our ability
to engage in todays culture is critical to our witness
in this world. As we prepare the next generation of
Christian leaders, we do so with a steadfast commit-
ment to biblical theology, Church history and the
original languageswhile exploring their implications
in todays world. Our students view todays culture as
a mission feld and are eager to integrate theological
refection into everyday life.
WHATS NEXT? M.A. in Christian Tought graduates
ofen pursue doctoral studies or teaching ministries in
the church, Christian schools, colleges or seminaries.
Graduates may also enter into vocational ministry or
become involved in parachurch organizations.
