2he first one was the rapid #hampionship$
It went for three da"s * ' rounds ea#h da"$
After first da" the leaders were Fabiano
!aruana from Ital", Aerge" 1ar@akin and
Ian ?epomnia#ht#hi from Russia * all
three had 9,' points$ 6agnus !arlsen had
@ust 9 as he made two draws$
But on the se#ond pla"ing da" the tables
turned$ In the last round of the da", round
number &(, !arlsen won against #o3leader
!aruana and emerged to the sole top
pla#e$
