This document descri!es how Transaction can !e used to create a
sales order
in the "A#$ %usiness "uite &rom data in 'icroso&t ()cel or Access
using the

Launch the Transaction A**lication &rom the des.to* shortcut or through the
Windows "tart 'enu.
Clic. New.
(nter transaction code ''01 in the Transaction Code /eld.
Clic. Go.

Choose the a**ro*riate "A# s,stem using the ",stem !utton, i& necessar,. (nter
a**ro*riate 0ser 1ata
in the "A# Logon window.
Clic. the OK !utton.
Choose a Recording Mode.

At this *oint, ,ou are maneuvering through the transaction itsel& and the *rocess
should &eel ver, natural.
That said, to ma.e this *rocess re*eata!le !, Transaction, there will !e a &ew
modi/cations to the *rocess
com*ared to how ,ou would manuall, create a *urchase order. These di<erences
will !e identi/ed throughout
the rest o& this document.

Clic. the green chec. to continue.

recording.
4t is now time to create the ma**ing &or this transaction.
'a**ing a Transaction scri*t is 9ust a matter o& connecting the "A# /elds to a data
/le. Transaction
*rovides a 'a**er to &acilitate this *rocess.
Auto 'a**ing will ma* the entire Transaction scri*t to an ()cel s*readsheet.
%ecause o& the com*le)it,
o& this transaction, we will choose the Create 'a**ing o*tion instead.
Clic. the Create Mapping lin. on the 'a* *anel.

To change the 1ata "ource, clic. the Change "ource T,*e lin. at the to* o& the

a dro*+down !o) to switch to 'icroso&t Access. The #review section will also
change to reIect the
choice.

4t is now time to !egin the ma**ing *rocess, so clic. on the %asic ta!.
The easiest wa, to remem!er how to ma* is this2 drag &rom the source o& the data
to the destination.
Kee*ing that in mind, we will !e u*loading data &rom ()cel to "A#.
Clic. in Column A, drag it u*, and dro* it onto row 2.
Continue across the ()cel *review !, dragging Column % u* and dro* it onto row
3, Column
C u* to row :, Column 1 u* to row A, Column ( u* to row B, and Column 3 u* to
row C.
